Great week in Kauai!

My husband and I really enjoyed the location—such a great spot! The unit was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was a bit warmer than expected during our stay since there wasn’t much ocean breeze that week, so just a heads-up: the unit doesn’t have air conditioning.

Kauai stay

This studio provided all we needed and then some (like coffee and chocolates upon entry and beach equipment). We would suggest having a more private entrance door than just a screen louvered door. Although people were very respectful keeping noise level down at night, conversations of people on the stairs during the day and the rooster crows could be easily heard.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Prince Kuhio. I’ve stayed here multiple times when visiting Kauai and had a lovely stay. Great location, ease of check-in/check-out and relaxing space. Thank you Patrick for the hospitality and communication.

Cute Place

Nice view from the unit which was steps away from great snorkeling. All amenities as stated with virtually everything you need to stay. Corner unit by the stairs was a little noisy with Nei it’s kids but been there done tgat with kids so all good. Great location for food, shopping and activities.

Great studio on Kauai

Very well maintained and equipped apartment. We didnt spend much time there during our 3 day stay, but was fine for evenings and mornings. Don't recall if rhe listing mentioned that it was on the 3rd.floor with no elevator, but the stairs were easy to navigate.

Clean, Comfortable, Well-Maintained

The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with a well-equipped and well-maintained kitchen. Reviews said the unit was smaller than expected based on promotional photos, and it was. The balcony opened on a park, with a good view of the ocean to one side. The decor is a bit dated, and the only window on the kitchen side opened into a stairwell. We found the kitchen and dining area to be dark and gloomy. The battery in the front door keylock died when we went out at 4 a.m., and although VRBO answered the phone, they could not contact anyone to fix the lock until after 8 a.m. Had we not already loaded our car, we would have missed a very expensive, all-day excursion. This speaks very highly for staying at a hotel with a 24-hour office.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at this VRBO. The location could not be better. We loved wakong up to the sunrise every morning. The beach chairs and cooler came in cluch. The parking was easy and the communication from the comdo staff was much appreciated.

Mislead

The pool and main building were well cared for and clean. The unit its self was a major disappointment. Built in 1969 and it shows in this unit. could see little if no updates. Poor lighting in the shower/Kitchen and extension cords through out. Pink tile counters Misleading were the pictures' and the description. This was described as a 1 bedroom but was actually a small studio. There was no bedroom, We would not have rented this unit if we had known that it was not a 1 bedroom.

nice place to stay, great location.

The unit we stayed in fit our needs. Kitchen was well supplied, bathroom nice, bedroom/living room was a good size. The condo complex was well cared for and very tropical. Nice clean pool. Good parking. Close to small beach and beautiful sunsets. Would come back here in the future. Great place, great value.

Great Location, Older Unit

This unit has a great location that ticked all the important boxes for us. Across the street from the ocean. Beautiful view of open park land next door instead of another building or resort. Gorgeous unobstructed sunrises!!! Walking distance to several good restaurants, small beaches, Spouting Horn, Allerton Garden, shopping, and more. That said, this unit will not be for everyone. It's not a luxury unit. It's an efficiency with a combined bedroom and sitting area but not a separate living room. Although clean with a great lanai and everything you truly need (even a coffee grinder), it's an older building and shows its age. If you're looking to spend a lot of time at the swimming pool, larger resorts will have more elaborate facilities with libations and food available. We had a great stay and would absolutely rent this same unit again.

Nice Location

The property was located in a nice location, was clean and included basic amenities. I think pictures of the listing is a little misleading as the property is a "little tired" and could benefit from some updates. Parking can be a challenge due to limited and tight spaces. There are no elevators to the upper floors making it a challenge for those that would need the that type of access. We enjoyed the nice view of the beach front area when sitting on the lanai and the walkable distance (under 1/2 mile) for restaurants and shopping.
