Enjoy this beautiful modern chalet close to skiing with a wood burning fireplace, cozy zen loft, pool table, and three bedrooms. All in the center of the Catskills hotspot Livingston Manor!

Beautiful fully renovated chalet set amongst the trees with its own beautiful deck with pool, wood burning fireplace and zen loft. A quiet private lake is a two minute walk away where you can out the canoe or picnic on the dock.

In Winter, come take advantage of the many ski resorts and other outdoor snow activities nearby such as snowshoeing and tubing! Closest skiing is a 1/2 hour drive away!

Come to enjoy an artist's retreat, or a work from home longer stay. The area is surrounded by trails to the lake, fishing and many other fun activities.

Thank you for viewing Uzma Manor, a beautiful modern yet rustic chalet with a private pool and lake. This space is perfect whether you're looking for a private artists' retreat or a fun filled nature week with friends. This gorgeous getaway offers all the charms of a woodsy cabin but with all of the modern conveniences!

There are 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms in this three level home. The first floor has a modern chef's kitchen with dishwasher and a fabulous stove. The living room has a gorgeous wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a huge king size bed and connects to the modern bathroom which is fully redone. Soak in the giant tub as you stare out into the lush woods- heaven!! The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Downstairs, in the finished basement, you'll find a pool table for game time, a library, a bar area with a mini fridge to stock your beers, and a Moroccan lounge with a record player so you can sit back and lounge. The third "Indian Zen" bedroom also contains a queen size bed. There is another full bathroom with a shower and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.

Upstairs in the loft, you'll find a laptop workspace. In the evenings, snuggle down to watch a DVD on the 40" flat screen television. Or watch some Netflix streaming to catch up on your favorite shows. You'll find plenty of board games to enjoy. Or just pull out a book and lounge in the rocker for some quiet reading time.

Outside on the deck, you'll find a propane bbq to cook up some yummy meals. Enjoy a stroll through the woods or just take a nap in one of the hammocks. After all the outdoor activities, you might just need to catch some Zzzzz's in front of the fireplace, or take a soak in the tub. In the evening, maybe you make some S'mores under the stars in the fire pit, or just watch the flames with your loved ones while sipping a nice glass of wine.

The house is equipped with high-speed Wifi. Cell reception is pretty weak, but Verizon and AT&T seem to have a hot spot by the pool, if you really need to get in touch with the real world.

DOGS ARE ONLY UPON APPROVAL. Please let me know if you would like to bring your pupper. There is an additional $100 pet fee.

Please note that there is air conditioning on the main floor of the home. There are also fans in the house so open the windows and enjoy the natural breeze.

This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Absolutely NO PARTIES. No use of the pool after 10pm.

You can enjoy a variety of activities around the house. Swim in the lake, go fishing, fly fishing is big here, there is endless hiking, go down the street and do some beer tasting, vodka tasting, horseback riding, visit an alpaca farm, or just do nothing!

Edgewood lakes is a non motorized lake. Since it is a private community lake, please be respectful of neighbors who might have homes nearby. Also, there are no lifeguards so usage of the lake and pool are at your own risk.


Since you will be in the country, there really isn't any public transportation to get around. You will need a car.

Pool Availability & Heating
The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through early October, weather permitting. No exceptions.
Pool heating is available upon request for $50 per day to reach 82°F. Higher temperatures can be arranged for an additional fee. Please submit heating requests at least 48 hours in advance to ensure the pool is ready for use.

Check-In/Check-Out
Due to same-day guest turnovers, early check-ins and late check-outs are typically not possible.

Seasonal Pricing
Rates vary depending on the season. If you're looking to book more than two months in advance, please contact me directly to confirm current seasonal pricing.

Winter Travel Advisory
During the winter months, a four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended. Roads can be snowy, and cars not equipped for winter conditions may get stuck.

– No parties or events — this is a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors.
– Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the house
– Use of the pool, lake, dock, canoe, playground equipment, trails, and surrounding property is at your own risk

Liability Waiver

By booking this reservation, you acknowledge and agree to release and hold harmless the host, Farah Khalid, from any and all liability for damages, injuries, or losses — including personal injury, property damage, or loss of belongings — whether caused by negligence or otherwise, that may occur during your stay at the property or in the surrounding areas. You further agree to fully indemnify the host for any costs or claims that may arise as a result.
