Fantastic relaxing stay

My husband and I splurged on staying at Terranea for a minimoon after our wedding. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. The room was so spacious and beautiful. The views of the ocean and resort are gorgeous and the location of the casita was perfect! Closer to the resort pools and restaurants than the other side of the casitas. We will definitely be back!

What a magnificent vacation centered around visiting with our younger son and his wife who recently moved to the area, just four minutes away! My wife and our older son and two grandchildren, stayed in this great Casita which accommodated us all well. The resort is terrific - fitness center and heated pools!!! Outstanding vacation rental

Stayed for three nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. Absolutely wonderful accommodations with an amazing view and every amenity you could want. The hotel property is fantastic as well. Beth was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Just a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

Birthday getaway

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at Terranea celebrating our birthdays. The casita was in a great location. It was very clean and filled with all the necessities. Only two things we would say need improvement on. The pullout bed needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable and was hard to sleep on. Alsoā€¦the parking spot was not available one of the days, because valet used it for their parking needs. I told the hotel and they took off one night of parking. Hope this review helps with future bookings. All in all, we had a great experience. Thank you! Eileen K

Amazing!

This was absolutely the best vacation I have ever been on. The property management team were super incredible and the views and hospitality were 2nd to non. We were treated and greeted like royalty. Absolutely and 100% will be booking this room again in the very near future! The host was very communicative, and very responsive. I even got to do an early check in. This was a very child friendly environment along with the option to be a very friendly adult environment as well. My family did not want to leave this place! This was a 10 star 10/10. Due beware though, that there is a $250 a night deposit that you will have to put down that I was not aware of prior to booking that kind of limited our financial capabilities on what we were able to due along with a I in it was a $20 a night parking. Just keep that in mind if you are going to book on a budget. I did get my money back in about 3 days. So it wasnā€™t that big of a deal. There was plenty to do at the resort and Redondo beach is just right down the road. If you are looking for a dream vacation for your family or a weekend getaway. This is the spot you want! The room was very spacious and Gorgeous along with amazing views!

Relaxing weekend

We lucked out with the weather and were able to enjoy walks around the bluff and the property. The unit is in a very quiet location and is well maintained. It was perfect for a long weekend, we enjoyed the onsite restaurants and did not really cook but the kitchen is equipped with the necessary tools. Roomy bedroom and bathroom, comfortable bed and the living room is inviting. A nicely furnished deck where you can enjoy the incredible view. If cost of resort fee, hefty parking fee for each vehicle is not a problem, this is a very nice place to relax for a few days.

Amazing Resort

We love Terranea and come here a lot. The Casita was great, clean. Took some time to get our room made by it was good at the end. The Catalina restaurant service was a bit slow and the food wasn't that fresh. But all the other restaurants were amazing. Hopefully they can improve their food. As for the Casita, it was all great as always.

Great Unit and stay

We loved this unit-well equipped, nicely furnished, good bed, very clean and new. Great location and enjoyed having breakfast on the patio under the umbrella. Would definitely book again! The hotel is amazing with multiple pools, lots of space to walk on property and excellent fitness center. Hotel does add on another $120 a day for parking and resort fee ($60 each)

Beautiful & Immaculate Casita

This Casita is beautiful and well kept. It is quiet and in a great location....the view is striking. Beth was helpful when we realized there was no bedding for the third bed when we arrived. Because this Casita is on the Terranea resort, I will leave the following resort review: You will be required to pay a resort fee of $60/day (not included in the rental of the Casita). Be aware that private organizations/businesses are allowed to purchase areas and/or amenities on the resort for days at a time, making them not available to other guests staying on the resort and paying for their use. The resort was good to refund our resort fees, as a large organization had bought out areas of the resort during our stay.

The stay was absolutely fantastic!

This is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the daily chaos of life. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and accommodations were super comfortable! Thank you!!!

Lovely family getaway!

In the words of my preschooler: "I liked our casita. I liked sleeping in the big bed and having breakfast on the patio. I could see the ocean!" We've stayed in Terranea hotel rooms for years but sprung for a casita to have more space, a kitchen and our own private entrance, plus a designated parking spot. Not to mention -- the view!!! I loved that we had all the privileges of a resort guest; your key works at the pool, you can charge things to the room and staff is so helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental and hope to return with my own family. The only touches that would bring it to A++ level would be to have full handsoap in the kitchen sink, and to have the patio pre-cleaned of crumbs and dust. Truly a beautiful stay!
