It is a very comfortable abode with enough room to accommodate the four of us. It is easy to find and easy to get to. A minor drawback is the location on the local highway. The traffic noise, although infrequent, was noticeable. We had a nice space to gather and visit!

Beautiful cabin!

Very comfortable stay, cabin is beautifully decorated. Owners/ managers always quick to reply to any requests. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Would definitely return again!

Quaint Cabin near Capital Reef

We enjoyed our stay near Capital Reef. Very cute and quaint decor. There don’t seem to be a lot of options in close vicinity to the park so we felt very lucky to find this place.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our group of three couples. It was stalked with all the basics you would expect and the store 3 miles away has anything that you would need for the weekend. I would recommend this Cabin to friends visiting the area.

Great house

House just right for 6 adults. Prefect for the Nat Parks. Out by itself no neighbors little town of Lia had the prefect grocery store.

Great Location - Good Matresses

We loved staying in this cabin outside Lyman. All the country charm and solitude we needed while visiting Capitol Reef. More than enough room for all 10 of us and a good night's sleep on a really good mattress. I would stay here again when visiting the ares.

Excellent Escape

We gathered to ride motorcycles through the canyons for the weekend and it was the perfect location. The cabin had plenty of space and was very comfortable, definitely recommend

Peaceful Getaway!!

My wife, son, and I spent the weekend in this awesome cabin!We could see the stars from the master bedroom. We had three hawks taking turns landing in the trees surrounding the cabin which were fun to watch.Recommend this very spacious cabin to anyone wanting a great place to stay in a peaceful valley surrounded by mountains!!

Nice cabin. Great for our group.

Enough rooms we could enjoy the common area, but still have space to sleep. Beds were comfy. The floor is squeaky so, don’t put light sleepers in the basement.

Capital Stay at Capital Reef

Everyone in our group loved our stay at the Rustic Cabin. The 20 min. drive to the National Park is a straight shot down HW 24 and very convenient. The decor is loving done (make sure to check out all the cute lamps!) and fits the scenery. Communication with the property owners was prompt and easy, and there were zero bugs during our stay. Such a pleasant stay, highly recommend.

Capital Reef visit from the Lyman house

Rustic charm greeted us. Just enough room for our group of 8. Nice size dining room table for us to all gather around and talk about our day at Capital Reef and enjoy our grilled burgers. Loved the swing out back and watching the hummingbirds.

Small family Spring Break Getaway

This was a great place to stay for our spring break week vacation to see the Mighty 5! Beautiful view of mountains! Fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs! This was amazing! Several sleeping options so this would be great for big groups! Very scenic driving which was stunning. The house was very clean and loved all of the decor!

Riding Motorcycles in Utah

Great place to make base camp. Had really everything that we needed to cook and have fun hanging out before and after riding our motorcycles in beautiful southern Utah. It was clean and quiet and having a set of horseshoes to play was a bonus after a long day of riding.

Easy access to National Parks

The Cabin is right on Rt. 24, but it can be easy to overlook the driveway when approaching. There can be some traffic noise, but it did not disturb me at all (if you are very noise sensitive it could be an issue). The rooms were clean and had ample space. All the amenities were in good working order.

Perfect for our mini family reunion

My sister and I stayed here with our children for a few days. We loved the fire pit and swing, the beautiful views. We found everything we needed for cooking meals for our large family. My brother and his kids stayed nearby but came over often. There was enough room for everyone to play games and relax. Excellent communication from the owner / property manager. Would stay here again!

Unique, fun

Very nice. Clean. Well equipped (including knives & nonstick skillets for eggs). Plenty of space. Nice layout. Kids loved the yard and firepit. Highly recommend.

Close to Capital Reef

This was a great property for us close to Capital Reef. It is a bit of a rustic property, but that is part of it's charm. It is very nicely decorated. It is a bit older, so not a brand new modern facility. Just depends on what you are looking for. But considering the limited opportunities in this area, this is a great find.

Capital Stay At Capital Reef!

We had a large group and we all loved our stay! The cabin is large enough for everyone to have free-roaming room, but cozy enough for intimate nightly gatherings rather than everyone going off into their rooms. The property is large and the property owners have but a lot of love and care into the upkeep and design/style of their cabin. 20 min. From Capital Reef. A small 1940s movie theater close by, restaurants, gift shops, etc. Highly recommend.

The place is beautifully decorated, inside and out. Very unique experience that gives the feel of living in the old west, with all the modern amenities you’d want. Cabin is spacious with its main level with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom/shower and a master with another bathroom/shower. Upper loft has two beds, and basement has two bedrooms and another bathroom. Owners are kind and responsive, wanting to make sure your stay is as comfortable as you’d imagine. Then there’s the dark sky. You can see the Milky Way from the porch without aid and you are surrounded by fields with the next closest building being a mile in any direction. The kids (12 & 8) thought it was the best place they’ve ever been. Plenty of memories, and easy access to Capitol Reef!
