Mystical Cottage in Southern Pines

A warm cozy guest house with an open floor plan, High ceilings, and a wall of glass doors overlooking the pool and jungle like backyard of 3 acres. It has a large separate bath and complete kitchen. It was a perfect place for a completely secluded getaway ... less than 2.5 miles from the center of both Southern Pines and the Village of Pinehurst... 8 minutes from nearly every restaurant in the area. We are pet friendly, but charge a seperate $35 pet cleaning pet

The space

What makes it unique is so close to everything and yet so secluded and jungle-like. It is perfect for gatherings and parties that can be booked as a separate event. I even had one of my son's Rehearsal Dinner there under a large tent in the back yard.

Guest access

In addition to the Cottage, guests have access to all of the grounds, including use of the pool and patio. On rare occasions, you may be sharing it with myself and family. If you wish exclusive access, that can also be arranged.

Interaction with guests

I am normally available 2 Meet the guests and enjoy sharing local knowledge of the best restaurants and places to go. But I understand if you want complete solitude.

Other things to note

Parking is as close as 15 Steps to the front door and secluded. mystical Cottage is pet friendly however the response has been so overwhelming that we are finding it necessary to charge an additional and separate pet cleaning fee of $35 if you have questions please give me a call.

Such a cute cottage in a nice area. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. This was so much better than staying at a local hotel. We hope to return in the near future!

Wonderful location, easy communication, extremely comfortable property. We were able to easily access a number of restaurants or cook full meals in the cottage. WiFi was unreliable but our hot spots worked great (we were trying to vacation and not work so didnā€™t need the WiFi).

This little cottage is a gem. It's the perfect size, and location is great. Your close to everything but surrounded by trees so you feel it's secluded. Allen is a great host and excellent communication. The pool is a great addition. Would definitely stay again.

Great weekend stay

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and love that we were able to bring our 2 dogs along as well. The property is beautiful and conveniently located, and the guest house was spacious, clean, and private. Host was very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with him as well!

Great location and charming guest house

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed (except the WiFi wasnā€™t working but we lived without it). The location was great. Very close to our friends and the golf courses we were playing.

Peaceful and Convenient

If I needed to escape again in an adorable spot with great wi-fi, a couple of friendly dogs and a place to clear my mind near great golf - this is the lace to go. The pool was refreshing and the get away was a slice of heaven. Thank you Alan!

Cute cottage!

This guest house/pool house is in the perfect spot between Pinehurst and Southern Pines. We stayed for a weekend getaway to visit friends and loved the cottage. Itā€™s the perfect size for a couple with everything you need/full kitchen, couch/tv, full bath, etc. We loved it so much we plan on building the same type of cottage/guest house when we build our retirement home in a few years!

Quiet and clean

Check in was great. Location is safe and the property is beautiful. Pool house was done very well. Everything you need and more. Just like the title says, it was clean and quiet, which is what we were looking for. Host was responsive, but let us alone to enjoy the property. We would definitely book again!
