Our SummerHill Center (partly retro, partly just renovated) locates in the building of a former school with 3 apartments.
We offer you one of our separated apartments 36 m2 from upstairs. The owners also live in the same building downstairs. Your apartment has a small kitchen space but for bigger cooking you can use a well-equipped kitchen downstairs which is in shared use with the owners.

There are 3 former classrooms in the school. 2 of them are at your service: one is equipped as party or business space; the other works as a gym, a ping pong place and a library.

The renovated school corridor can be used for meal service. You can arrage your own food there. By the way, you can order breakfast from us with additional payment.

We have 2 saunas in the house: wood sauna (free use with 1 set of fire wood, more w ood for extra payment) and infra red sauna (extra payment).

The old sport field attaches the house. Here in summer you can play ball games, badminton or other games and in winter you can ski down to lake skiing track straight from the door of the house. Ask us about the equipment.

The sport field ends with a small lake (not mantained but even though full of natural beauty) on the shore of which you can find our canoes. Even though the beach is not private you will hardly find any visitors there. So just get sunbathed or swim and enjoy the nature.

An outdoor terrace and a grill hut can be used all year round.
Summer Hill is located within 30 min drive from Eastern Finland´s most popular skiing and golf centre Tahko.

For hikers there is a grill place within 3 km distance up in the hill. From the hill grill place you can go on quite a challenging nature path with 3,5 km length. The day programm in the nature can be organized for groups.

The owners as professional coaches can organize many kinds of learning opportunities from 1hr coaching, table top simulations for collaboration, creativity and innovation, coaching brain performance, self management and relationshipworkshops into a 1 year wellbeing program!
Our main philosphy is to follow circulation economy, green impact, sustainability, offer clean and local organic food (the biggest organic food store and organic blueberry ranch in 4,5 km distance).

SummerHill has a motor boat on a bigger lake so you can get a ride to a private island and heat a genuine smoke sauna there.
We can offer you parkour lessons as we have two inhouse instructors.

12 m wide blackboard and 5 flipcharts for creativity and innovative thinking team work and workshops. Inhouse Instructor led experiential learning activities, 200+ exercises, especially outdoors, available. Codeschool for beginners. Stress & self management & wellbeing sessions available.
For passionate bikers, we offer guided motor cycle tours for example to Valamo Monestery.
Onsite camping option is possible in our yard.
Massage, physiotherapy & body treatments available by agreement.
