Welcome to our Guest House at Circle H Ranch! Experience a unique stay on a working exotic animal ranch right down the road from the Frio River in Leakey, TX, near Concan, TX. You're sure to be amazed at the beauty of the animals roaming freely through the hills surrounding you as you relax on the spacious back porch. Experience nostalgia as you relax in our historic Guest House that is completely modernized with amenities including free Wi-Fi on the back porch. The main GUEST HOUSE includes 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms for 6 people and is included in the base rate. The adjoining BUNKHOUSE can be rented in addition to the main GUEST HOUSE for up to 8 guests more making room for 14 guests total.

-Are you on the Frio River? No, we are right down the road...a quick 5-10 minute drive depending on where you get in.
-Is the spring fed pool open to the Guest House? The spring fed pool is private to guests staying at the LODGE. However, if there is a crossover day which is unoccupied at the LODGE, we're more than happy to have you enjoy the cool waters of the pool. Just ask Jen about availability. Or, remember the Frio River is right down the road waiting for you.
-What's a favorite activity of guests staying at the Guest House? Hiking on Ranch and Seeing Exotic Animals on Ranch
-What kind of coffee pot is there? Regular 10-12 Cup Coffee Maker
-Is there an ice machine? The fridge has a built in icemaker for drinks at house. You'll need to bring ice for icechests.
-Are day guests allowed? We will allow day guests for $25 per person per day to have access inside property. However, all guests must agree and sign our liability release prior to moving about the property.

We are Jen and John Harwood of Leakey, TX. Along with running two vacation rental properties on the ranch, ranching is our everyday business. We operate an exotic breeding ranch right outside Leakey, TX which has been in business for decades now.

The Guest House at Circle H Ranch offers a one of a kind adventure vacation for people of all ages. No matter the time of year, Circle H Ranch can be enjoyed by all. Explorers and relaxation enthusiasts, alike, can enjoy the changing of the leaves in the Fall and the roars of the exotic deer during mating season. Winter is perfect for campfires and star gazers or for cuddling up with a good book and hot cocoa in the sun porch or next to the fireplace. Spring is absolutely a gorgeous time to enjoy the beauty of nature at its finest. Summer of course brings fun in the sun on the Frio River. Located in the Frio Canyon, Circle H Guest House is a uniquely special place for lodging, fun, and relaxation in the tranquil Texas Hill Country. Relax on the porch or patio and soak up the panoramic views of nature at its finest. We are just minutes away from the Frio River for tubing out of Concan, Garner State Park, Utopia, and Lost Maples Natural Area. Although you might venture out for the day to one of these other locations, most of our guests choose to spend their time relaxing at our own peaceful haven. Circle H Guest House is a secluded, private, and historic home which can accommodate both large groups and small parties. The house is perfect for a family vacation, reunion, private party, or as a romantic getaway. Bikers, bicyclists, and car club members are welcome.
You will be absolutely amazed at the breathtaking views and variety of wildlife surrounding the GUEST HOUSE in a free roaming environment. You might even think you are in another country or perhaps even paradise. The stars at night will dazzle anyone who lives in the city and has forgotten just how many you can see in the country sky. Campfire stories can be told while relaxing by the firepit as big and little kids enjoy roasting marshmallows.
