Due to this situation, we are NOT renting out our condo at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and we look forward to hosting guests again in the future.


This condo is the perfect place to curl up with a book or your laptop on the big comfy couch in front of our electric fireplace, or warm up after a fun day skiing just a short distance away at Sugarbush (3 miles) or Mad River Glen (9 miles). There is a great bar within walking distance (Hostel Tevere) and plenty of restaurants and things to do in nearby Warren and Waitsfield.

This condo is our weekend getaway so you'll find it well cared for and clean. It was recently updated with a new kitchenette (sink, 3.5 c.u. ft mini-refrigerator, 2 burner stove) and furniture. Sheets, Towels, Pots, Pans, Plates, and basic kitchen utensils are provided. The unit has High Definition Cable TV, Blu-Ray player, Chromecast, radio with AM/FM/CD/Aux Input, alarm clock, local phone, and free WiFi.

Our condo is a cozy 480 square feet. It sleeps 4. There is a queen-size bed in the bedroom. The sectional sofa in the living room converts into a full-size trundle bed. The deployed trundle bed is shown in the photos. I can provide a PDF with instructions on how to deploy the trundle bed before making your reservation.

The condo complex has an outdoor pool, hot tub, and dog park on site. The outdoor pool is available for summer use and the hot tub is available year-round.

Sorry, but due to owner allergies, no pets are permitted.

The Mad Bus (Valley Floor route) stops right on the condo grounds at the Hostel Tevete. The bus is free and it runs daily from 21 December 2018 through 31 March 2019. The bus offers direct service from the condo to Sugarbush (both Mount Ellen and Lincoln Peak), Warren, and Waitsfield. Access to either mountain or town is very easy.

Cozy condo in great location

This condo was perfectly situated between everything we wanted to see/visit (Burlington less than an hour away, apple picking and lots of hikes nearby). Cozy little place perfect for a couple.

Cozy place near Sugarbush

We spent a couple of nights here with our dogs while we skied Sugarbush. The condo is small but well kept and perfect for a couple or small family. Our dogs loved the dog park! We also enjoyed being able to walk to Hostel Tevere for dinner which we did twice because it was so good and convenient.

Neat & tidy, peaceful resting spot

The condo was neat & tidy, a peaceful resting spot. The layout and furnishings work well together; I was able to prepare simple meals and relax inside or outside during evenings. The bed was comfortable & the bedroom window got good late afternoon light which also added brightness to the entire condo. There was some TV noise from a nearby unit at times, though overall the noise was minor (and perhaps to be expected in such condo complexes.) The owner was responsive, thorough with presenting info about the unit and helpful; he even graciously accommodated a last minute request for late check-out. The area has a lot to offer even outside of ski season. The condo location is favorable for accessing points in several directions.

Amazing Stay

The condo was extremely cozy and welcoming! If you need a place to stay at Sugarbush this is it! The condo is located very close to the access road to the mountain (>1min drive) and has everything you could need for a great stay.

Great place to stay!

We come to this area every January after the long Martin Luther King day weekend. This year we stayed here and the place was fabulous for us. It is very clean and amenities were as described. We only need a small kitchenette type accommodation and this place was perfect. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. It is a quiet location in a smaller condo complex. We had no trouble with parking and the owner/property manager was top notch. He made sure that we had all we needed to get in (which was a breeze) and took care of everything. We highly recommend and hope to be back next year. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rave about our stay!

Great getaway weekend in this efficient and comfortable condo located in quiet area next to all activities. We would love to come back. Warren is a pleasure to deal with. We had no issues during our stay but I knew he was there for us.

Just the perfect place for 1-5 pp!

First, Warren is one of the best VRBO/rental/hotel hosts I have worked with. He was extremely thorough in his directions, house amenities, and communication. The condo is about a 5 min drive to the mountain and very easy to find, just at the base of the access road. The condo was stocked full of amenities at the ready and despite its cozy size, a perfect fit for our family of 4. The bathroom was clean with nice and ample towels, the kitchen well laid out, and the main BR was very large with lots of space. LOVED the cute gas fireplace!!! For the value we were absolutely thrilled. Can't wait to return.

Great easy place to stay for Sugarbush

We had a great time staying here. Everything was as described and it had all the necessary amenities to get us through a few days of skiing. I loved having the boot drier for the kids ski gear! Overall really easy and convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet, comfy, and easy

Great 1-bed space for a couple, very dog-friendly, and Warren has it outfitted for easy access (digital keypad instead of needing a physical key, Nest thermometers, etc). Highly recommend as a home base for Sugarbush Ski Resort (any season) as long as you're planning to eat out (the kitchen was smaller and a bit bare bones without an oven).

Great experience!

This was a great stay. Everything was presented accurately on the website. Checkin/Access to the unit was easy and the inside of the unit was in great shape and comfortable. Detailed directions for the unit (like TV/cable, thermostat, unit access, etc) were provided and accurate. The owner was attentive and responsive to questions over VRBO prior to my stay and when I was there. During my stay I had a question for the owner and it was late at night when I sent the message to the owner. I honestly didn't expect a response till the next day as it was late at night and not only did the owner send a message back, but he called me on my cell phone right away as he was concerned the message might not come quick enough! I was very impressed! The unit is conveniently located at the end of the Sugarbush access road (just 3 miles from the base of the ski slope) and super easy to get to. I had no issues what so ever with the unit and the owner was great! It's a great little unit. I highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back!

Very nice rental, centrally located to Warren Town and great communication with our renter. Clean and quaint rental- if you ski it’s perfect location to the mountain. We had a lovely time and the owner was totally accommodating for our stay.

Great Unit & Super Comfy!

I stayed in this unit from July 3 - 7, 2019 I am originally from the Valley and have known the Powderhound my entire life but never stayed. It was so great - affordable, clean and very comfortable. The challenges were: the unit didn't have a full kitchen which I knew going in but quickly learned that with 2 kids, it's a bit easier will a full kitchen is easier to feed them as they are always asking for SOMETHING! lol.... I would also suggest adding an air conditioning unit in the window - might be nice for those hot hot days. It would also be helpful to advise guests that certain cell phone carriers have limited connectivity IN the unit - in my case, using AT&T wireless, I was unable to receive phone calls at all while inside the unit. My workaround was using Viber (online service) and bought minutes so my kids and I could speak to Dad who had to work :( Other than that, the bed and linens were excellent - I slept like a baby!! and so did my kids - my son loved the trundle bed and the couch was sooo comfortable. The internet access was fast and easy to log onto, the TV was great as was the rest of the appliances too. Check-in couldn't have been easier. Open the lock and voila! Check-out the same. Easy Peasy. I would for sure stay there again and recommend it to others wholeheartedly. Warren, the property owner was great - super responsive and quickly answered any questions I had.. Thank you again! We had a FANTASTIC vacation!!
