Experience the serene feeling of being tucked away in a cabin in the woods while still having all the modern conveniences that make a vacation enjoyable and indulgent in all the right ways. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a jetted hot tub awaiting your presence and the sounds of busy birds and squirrels scurrying about. Once inside this home, you will be treated to gorgeous hardwood floors, a fully stocked kitchen, and an expansive living area that lends itself to splendid views of the tall timbers that surround this cabin. Whether lounging on the sectional sofa or preparing a scrumptious meal for the group you will always be included in the conversation as this open-concept home allows everyone to stay in constant contact. During any season you will always be able to enjoy the great outdoors on the large covered deck with its own sectional sofa, gas firepit, dining area, and BBQ! For sleeping arrangements, this home features a master suite located on the main level with a king sized bed, a queen bedroom located upstairs, and a third bedroom with full over full bunk beds also located upstairs. A second bathroom is conveniently located on the main level as well as a full laundry room.

Nearby is the quaint town of Plain, Lake Wenatchee, and endless outdoor recreational activities for all seasons. Downtown Leavenworth is only a 16-mile scenic drive away if you would like to spend some time shopping and enjoying the numerous eateries and festivals that happen year-round. If adventures in the mountains are what you're looking for Stevens Pass Mountain Resort is just 30 miles away. No matter the reason for your trip the "Woodland Chalet" is the perfect place to call home during your vacation!

Quiet and comfortable cabin

Our trip was very relaxing...especially the last day when we could enjoy the hot tub. The area was quiet and serene but not to far from town. We were greeted by some wild turkey's that liked to wander through the woods.

My family and I spent two nights, and we wished we could spend more time. The cabin is clean and cozy. The outdoor porch is an amazing space, and we spent half our time out there. We also were impressed with the cabin's AC.It is in a great location near Plain, WA. It's only a 25 minute drive to Leavenworth, and it was easy for us to find. Google maps led me right there.

Short getaway

The cabin was perfect for our family. The cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen My only critique would be the coffee maker was not so great and the living room could use one more lounge chair. The back deck is great and would have loved an outdoor heat lamp to make it more welcoming in the colder temps.

Relaxing winter getaway

Very comfortable getaway for our family of four, first time exploring the Plain, WA area and Wenatchee River. Home had all of the necessities and the property manager was good about notifying us ahead of check in about a couple of repairs that were scheduled for later in the month, so that we could plan around those. We will be back to explore more in this area in the future and would consider other staying here again.

Beautiful new property

This house was absolutely beautiful! We were looking for somewhere that was secluded yet driving distance to Leavenworth. While it was about a 25 minute drive away from downtown it was the perfect little escape. The deck looked fantastic and we'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy it. Best in Leavenworth Yet

We have attended Oktoberfest almost every year, for the past 6 years. This was our favorite stay yet. The property was beautiful. It was great for spending quality time together and not too far from town. Communication was excellent! A couple things came up and were immediately addressed or a solution was found. Our only recommendation would be more lamps and more end tables in rooms and bathrooms. Great stay, thank you so much!

Christmas Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay over Christmas with our 3 kids and our dog. The home was cozy, comfortable and the perfect amount of space. Easy check in and out. The customer service was the best. We love that it's close enough to town but still feels remote. Only negative was it was pretty dusty, surfaces,blinds and carpets could use a better vacuum and a wipe down between guests especially being a pet friendly place. But kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and kitchen was well equipped.

Good overall

Property managers were very easy to communicate with. There were a few minor maintenance items that the place needed that we brought to their attention. There was also animal hair noticeable in the living spaces. Other than the animal hair, the place was pretty clean. We had 3 kids under 8 and they did great in the space. Hot tub was great after a day in the snow.

Terrific little cabin

This is a lovely little cabin just outside of Leavenworth, with all of the amenities you need to enjoy cooking meals in the kitchen and relaxing on the covered deck around the fire. We had a fabulous long weekend at this property, and everything was clean and as-pictured on VRBO. When we needed to contact the property manager about an empty propane tank, he was quick to respond and staff were able to bring a new tank to the property without causing any interruption to our stay at all. We would definitely return to this lovely home!

Nice Vacation Rental

Great property though they should move the sign that says not to park down below to the top. We hadnā€™t seen that until we got down by the door and both my hubby and our friends got stuck in the snow. Other than that the house is very pretty.

Nice cabin in Plain

Sweet, cozy, new cabin in Plain. The covered deck in the back is amazing! It was a bit cold to enjoy, but other times of the year itā€™d be perfect! Beds were very comfortable & the kitchen is beautiful. The only complaint is the sectional couch needs to be replaced; itā€™s pretty old & outdated. And if there were dimmers on the light switches it would create great ambiance. We didnā€™t use the hot tub as much as we thought, as itā€™s off the front porch, but it was clean. Fun getaway in the mountains with wild turkeys roaming around & woke up to snow 2 mornings!

White Christmas

We loved our stay here. Everything was great. The neighbors and neighborhood were great, very friendly. The kids were able to sled at the house and the hot tub was always warm. It snowed Christmas day for the perfect white Christmas. We loved that is was dog friendly, letting family come that otherwise wouldn't be able to. The kids loved to hang on the back deck by the fire pit (make sure to check propane). The only thing that needed attention was the ice. Everyone slipped and fell and we actually had a truck slide from the road past the front of the house. Thankful everyone was ok.

Lovely getaway!

THE best 4th of July for us and our furbabies. Not ONE firework! :) We loved this mini vacay so much! Great communication from property manager. Cons: primary bedroom mattress very stiff, gravel outside not packed down so fell a few times (no injuries), no grass for dogs to potty, lots of weeds. Pros: air conditioning, quiet neighborhood, cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, lovely deck, great location - only 20 mins from Leavenworth, and did I mention no fireworks? haha. We'll be back!

Clean and Comfortable

Our group of 5 highly enjoyed this cabin. As advertised, it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin is equipped with everything you'll need in the kitchen to cook/bake. We especially enjoyed spending time on the patio sipping our morning tea/coffee, making smores over the fire pit, and grilling for dinner. We also had couple deer sightings. I'd say the only few negatives would be the road getting to this cabin is somewhat windy and dangerous. The sectional couch was somewhat uncomfortable so many of us sat on the floor for movie nights, and the location of the hot tub in front of the house was not ideal. We felt a bit exposed because other neighbors could see us, but aside from these few downsides, it's a beautiful cabin with great interior designing. I'd recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway with a small group.

Very nice, but...

First, thanks for sharing your amazing place, we really enjoyed it. The house is beautiful, well located with respect to local attractions, the neighborhood is very peaceful, and water in the tub had been just changed, so pretty great overall. Also, the communication with the property management company was outstanding, with one minor blip since we only got access information to the property after emaling them about it. However, their response was super fast, and we reached out at 4 pm on the labor day Monday. We had a great time. The cleaning could be improved, there was some garbage on the floors, the sectional sofa outside was dirty with... no idea really, and some of the dishes were dirty as well. The house was well stocked but some additional glasses were needed, which the management company brought promptly after one call. Overall it was good, but these minor fixes would make it perfect. Thanks again.

We have stayed here a couple times. We like the proximity to snow and the easy communication & check-in/out process. While we enjoyed our stay here, there were a few things that need attention. The location is described as kid friendly but there was only 1 non-glass cup which made it difficult with multiple young kids. The bath tubs did not have anti-slip mats or decals and therefore were quite slippery. The bunk beds appeared damaged. They were still useable but creaked very loudly at night. Lastly, there was quite a bit of animal hair left from prior visitors that was not great to deal with.
