Providence, Burrill Lake

Once you arrive you will never have to leave! Providence has everything you could hope for in a holiday home and more!
Spectacular waterfront location with uninterrupted views over the lake to the national park. This 5-bedroom home that sleeps 11 adults and 1 child is the perfect place to relax and unwind with family and friends.
Location – Providence is located right on the water, with a stunning view of Burrill Lake and peaceful surrounds. This property provides you with an array of choices for a memorable experience whether it be fishing off the back yard, cruising around the quiet streets on pushbikes or kayaking on the lake! There is also a café, supermarket, newsagent and boat ramp conveniently located a few streets away.

Key features – Providence has been renovated throughout, freshly painted and with plush carpet in the bedrooms and thoughtfully decorated with modern comforts, and featuring local scenic photography. This 5-bedroom house is spacious enough for 1-2 families or a group of friends.

Configuration – Providence is a large level house with 1 huge living area overlooking the lake with open fireplace and a huge gourmet cook’s kitchen.
On the left side of the house there are 5 bedrooms; the first with a queen bed, and a built-in wardrobe, the second a queen bed and a single, the third with 2 single beds and trundle bed, the forth with a queen bedroom and walk through wardrobe to the ensuite, the fifth with a queen bed, sliding door to the deck and view of the water. Lay in bed and watch the lake go by!

There are 3 bathrooms, the main with large shower, bath, separate vanity and separate toilet, the second is an ensuite to the queen bedroom, the third is off the main living area with shower, toilet, vanity, washing machine and dryer.

In the middle of the house is the huge modern kitchen that will delight your inner gourmet chef, with stylish black appliances, 6 burner Smeg oven, Blue Gum forest feature splash back, integrated fridge and dishwasher, self-closing drawers, and wrap around bench with 8 stools, perfect for entertaining while cooking up a storm! The kitchen is fully equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and ample crockery, glasses, cutlery, and pots and pans.

The kitchen opens to a combined dining/living area with timber decking flooring giving it that outdoorsy feel and sky lights letting in natural light.
The dining area has a beautiful mango wood table to seat 10, and the living space features a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, open fireplace and a large lounge/living entertaining are that opens out onto a covered tiled deck by the pool.
All this is complimented with beautiful views over the water through the glass sliding doors.

Outdoors – Direct access to the lake for all kinds of water sports and swimming! Just like having your own private beach.
Step outside the back door and walk a few steps to the water’s edge. You can park your boat out the back and launch your water ski off the lawn. There are 2 nearby boat ramps. There is a fenced grassed area for the kids and covered entertaining deck for the adults with outdoor furniture and gas BBQ. A fully fenced large in ground pool overlooks the lake and there is an outdoor shower conveniently located nearby
Providence also provides 2 kayaks for guests use.

Heating and cooling – Providence has reverse – cycle ducted air conditioning throughout.
We also have a brand new open fireplace overlooking the lake.

Parking - There is off street, open air parking for 4 cars on the lawn. The garage and driveway is not available.

Pets - This property is pet friendly with a fenced rear yard. However house rules apply. Please contact us for details.

Minimum stay - There is a minimum 1 week/7 night stay for all bookings. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.

Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our property has designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Year’s Day public holidays.

Internet/ Wi-Fi access - This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that we cannot guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable it is problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

Family holiday
We had a great week at Burrill Lake, the house was lovely with plenty of room for the 11 of us and our dogs. Plenty of bedrooms as well as 3 bathrooms and 2 living areas meant we weren’t all on top one another. The only small negative was that we had very high temperatures for our week and there is no insulation in the dining/family area so even with air conditioning it was uncomfortably hot in there. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others.
