The Lakeview Villa sits walking distance from the alpine chair lifts, cross-country ski trails, Mesabi bike trail and waterfront amenities at Wynne Lake. The well-maintained 3-story property includes an open-concept main floor with updated kitchen, dining and lounge area. Cozy furniture, a beautiful 2-story stone fireplace, huge deck and picturesque views of Wynne Lake invite you to relax inside or out. 2 bedrooms, shared bath and laundry center complete the main floor. A loft bedrooms with 2 twin and one queen plus full bathroom overlook the main floor and share the lake views. The lower floor features one private master bedroom, lounge/gameroom area with queen sofa/sleeper, gas fireplace, big-screen TV plus kitchenette with small fridge, sink and coffeemaker. Enjoy!

Great Giants Ridge Villa

Villa is what was advertised. Deserves its excellent rating. Clean and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. Close to golf courses and town of Biwabik. Owner was accommodating and responded to questions/requests promptly.

Wonderful place to stay!

I can't say enough good things about this property. It was super convenient to Giant's Ridge for our ski vacation. Property was clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, cookware...you name it. Plenty of sleeping options. Don't bring any games because there are plenty waiting for you downstairs. We will definitely be choosing this property for our next vacation up North!

Great property

Great property with everything we needed and then some. The extra touches of coffee and tea samples and games was wonderful. I also appreciated the short and realistic check out instructions (take garbage out, lock up everything, set thermostat back, start dishwasher). Simple. We had 8 adults and there was enough space but if you had any more it would be really tight. My only complaints would be the late check in time (5pm). Thankfully our property was ready and we were able to get in at 4pm but 5pm is later than any other rental. I also had to text/call a number in order to receive the check in information and code at least 2 hours prior to arrival; not a huge deal but a little odd.

Lovely Cabin

This cabin is amazing. Fully stocked, plenty of room, beautifully taken care of. Lots to do in the area. Amazing communication with the owner definitely a fantastic place to stay.

Nice up north getaway

We enjoyed a very nice week at this clean, 'up north' feeling villa. We enjoyed the vicinity to the ski slopes, the electric sauana, and the spaces allowed for multiple sleepers. Would definitely come back! Thanks!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

My husband and I stayed with our three sons (teens and 20s) and it was the perfect location. The Villa was a great size for our family. We were able to downhill and XC ski while we visited, and easily return to the Villa to rest and eat lunch.

We have been to this location several times, and this was our first time at this particular property. They sauna was nice, but the hot tub did not function properly (very poor jet propulsion). The main door lock malfunctioned, so we could not get in one afternoon until the property manager came and opened it for us. This took about 1 hour. However, the manager was very friendly and helpful, and we have no complaints in regards to them.

Fun getaway

Lots of activities to do, beautiful area. We loved the cabin, but the living room and kitchen was small for our group of 6 adults and 6 children. We loved the ski lift, the lake, and the pool and hot tubs.

Hot tub and sauna A+++

Unit is nicely located, close to the ski hill. Ample room for all 10 of us. Unit included a hot tub and sauna, super appreciated after a day on the slopes. Owner was very responsive.

Great place for family

Our family enjoyed every minute, all 13 of us! Some didn't stay the whole week but there was enough room for all. The kitchen was well equipped with a good sized fridge. We loved the lake.... fished, canoed, kayaked, portaged to Sabin Lake from Wynne Lake and rented a pontoon boat for two days from Rapid Rentals in Virginia. I was happy that the lake was not too big and not too small; calm enough to kayak in. Caught lots of fish! The little ones loved the playground. Rented bikes from the Lodge. Enjoyed the hot tub. Made great memories! Thanks!

Great villa at the Ridge

Just stay here. It is great. Well appointed. Kitchen: great appliances, pots, pans, knives, glassware, etc. Sauna: best I have ever had at a rental. Bedrooms: comfortable, very quiet. Effective air conditioning.Fun artwork though-out the unit. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful ski vacation

This is perfect place to vacation! Eight women went up for a ski vacation. The trails are perhaps the best in the state, and it was wonderful coming home to relax in the outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna! Shawn was excellent to work with and everything went without a hitch. Place was immaculate with a well-equipped kitchen and great views. Beds were comfy. We loved putting on our snow shoes and hiking across the lake to the Island. I recommend this place enthusiastically.

Your place was perfect for a friend's getaway. Had everything we needed and more. Loved the sauna and hot tub experience! Perfect Christmas Get Away

Spent the holidays at the cabin and it was wonderful. The cabin was very well maintained with lots of space. Shawn was great to work with and responded to questions or concerns with in a very timely manner. Will plan on using the space again in the future.

I am a degreed professional with a variety of passions and interests. In addition to an engineering career, I have worked in the natural foods industry (various roles over several years at a food co-op), nutritional counseling, and residential construction and interior design. For the past several years, I have been dedicated to the design/build of Green Gate Guest Houses- 10 unique lodging options within the Giants Ridge Recreation Area.

I have a passion for all areas of construction, design, technology, sustainable living, renewable energy, etc., and enjoy putting ideas into action through the myriad of projects I always have going!

I enjoy nature, outdoors, exercise (running, hiking, cycling, skiing, etc), as well as the culture and arts of the city. I've traveled domestically and internationally, and value the insight gained from experiencing new cultures. I often bring back design ideas that are eventually incorporated into various projects around the property. Looking forward to some time in Scandinavia next.

Having operated my vacation rental properties for about a decade now, I have been fortunate to host such a variety of wonderful guests from all over the planet, and have enjoyed being part of the community in my hosting and travels.
