The house is located on the island of Koločep, a picturesque Adriatic island in the Elafiti near Dubrovnik. It is only 5km away from Dubrovnik’s Gruž port which offers several daily connections. The island has two settlements, Gornje Čelo and Donje Čelo, located in the largest bays and connected by a 3km long swerving promenade. The island is great for quiet and relaxing vacations. Its specialty is that there are no cars on it.
The house is located in an ideal location, 10m away from the sea, 200m away from the dock and 100m away from the beach. There is an ATM, post office, a market and several restaurants nearby. The house has a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace, from where you can also enjoy the sunsets. There are two bedrooms, one with king size bed(200x180cm) and other room with two separate single beds(200x90cm). The sofa in the living room can also be used as an additional bed. Next to the entrance of the house there is a children playground. The house is equipped with sun loungers, sunshades, solar shower and barbecue.

Fantastic house, superb location

Great and considerate hosts. House is even better than we’d expected. Excellent selection of beach and water toys and watching the sunset across the water from the patio is fantastic. Thank you Snjezana and Nikola, we will be back.

Excellent stay, beautiful and peaceful location

Property - the clenliness and standard of the property was exceptional. We were provided with ample additional bedding and towels. There was also a kayak and stand up paddle board for our use which was an added bonus. Hosts - Excellent hosts. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Nikola arranged our taxi from the airport (35 Euro) and met us in the port and took our bags for us while we went and did a food shop before getting on the ferry. Location - the island is lovely very peaceful, very quiet. There is a small shop with VERY limited range of things so shopping in Dubrovnik (a 30 min ferry trip) is essential. Ferries are quite frequent but we found it difficult to find a convenient time to go over and back without having to wait around for a while.There are a couple of restaurants very close to the property - these are ok. Beach is practically on the doorstep and the water is so lovely and so clear. Although there are frequent boat trips arriving at the island, the beach was never crowded and, in any case, the sun terrace on the property is a great spot. We would absolutely return to this property - cannot fault anything about the property or the hosts. First Class.

Best place to stay on Koločep

The house and its location on the beautiful island of Koločep are outstanding. Starting the day by drinking coffee on the terrace and enjoying the stunning view of the bay is a delightful experience. With the beach just a two-minute walk away, we could easily spend the day swimming and relaxing by the sea. We ended each day by watching the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace, which was a perfect way to unwind. For those who prefer not to cook, the nearby Konoba offers delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices, making dining out a convenient and enjoyable option. The hosts were very friendly and always available to assist with any needs or questions we had. Their hospitality made our stay comfortable and welcoming, and we appreciated their helpfulness and local insights. The house was clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From kitchen essentials to cozy bedding, it was clear that attention to detail was a priority. Overall, this house is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Koločep. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing vacation on this charming island.

Beautiful Island and Villa

We had 5 wonderful nights on this gorgeous little Island and wonderful accommodation. The property was spacious, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. A very short walk to a small shop, bar, restaurants and beach. We used the kayak and paddle board which was good fun. Our hosts were lovely providing some goodies for our arrival. I would definitely recommend visiting such a special place and would like to come back.

What a gem!

This is a wonderful villa with glorious views of the ocean - everything was perfect, and just like the photos. We appreciated the great attention to details in all the furnishings and in the garden. The villa is very well equipped - excellent kitchen facilities, comfy beds, plenty of space - even an outdoor shower, BBQ paddle board and kayak. We were delighted with so many lovely touches on our arrival - from drinks, fruit and cakes in the fridge, to biscuits and chocolates. The island itself is an ideal retreat away from the world. While the tourist boats brought in crowds a couple of times a day, people only stayed on the island for short bursts and the villa was so secluded that we were surprised we didn't even notice them! It was so lovely to walk along he waterfront in the evening and feel like a local, buy local produce for dinner and enjoy the sunset from our own private loungers. My husband and I had a very relaxing week and just wished it was longer. Nikola and Snjezana were the perfect hosts and we can't wait to return!

Idyllic location, amazing property!

The house on Kolocep Island is one of the best I have stayed in - it was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean inside and out, and every detail had been carefully checked to ensure that we had the perfect holiday. The outside was particularly spectacular, with the amazing terrace overlooking the sea, a pretty garden and a shaded dining area with everything we needed to enjoy our meals al fresco. As for our hosts Nikola and Snježana, we were overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness and kindness, they made us feel so welcome in Croatia and literally did everything to look after us and make our stay really special - there were treats in the fridge (including a 60th Birthday cake!), Nikola took us food shopping as we arrived late, and they ensured we were met coming onto and off the island so we had help with luggage . We honestly can't thank you both enough, Iona and I had a fantastic holiday we will never forget.

Fantastic property with amazing views

This two bed villa is located a short distance from Kolocep pier, where the ferry boats come in. The villa offers an excellent sized sun deck with amazing views over the island harbour, out to sea and the islands beyond. Its views are postcard perfect. The villa also has kayaks, snorkelling and other equipment. A BBQ area and a beautiful patio area. The villa is modern in design with everything you would need for you stay. The living room is spacious with enough dining for six. Excellent TV channels and WiFi throughout. The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The bathroom has every modern necessity with a great shower. The kitchen has every appliance necessary with plenty of fridge space etc. The hosts Nikola and family are exceptional. Their hospitality throughout was outstanding. I was meet at the port in Dubrovnik by Nikola who put my bags in his car and he drove me off to do some grocery shopping (shopping is limited on the island). He then dropped me off near the port so I could have lunch before my ferry to Kolocep. He then meet me at the ferry point with my luggage and groceries and helped me onto the ferry. Coming off the ferry I was met by his son who helped me unload my bags and helped carried them the short distance to villa. I was greeted by Nikola wife who showed me around and explained everything to me. On departure I had a lovely farewell. A huge thanks to my host for all the hospitality and care shown to. I would highly recommend this villa.

Amazing location and superb property

When we booked Nicola and Snjezana house by the sea on this Island our expectations of spending a week in the sun directly by the sea in total relaxation were admittedly high. The house and the island absolutely delivered on all fronts. Prior to arriving Nicola and Snjezana contacted us and arranged the meet point at the port in Gruz. As we were on a later flight they couldn’t come across with us on the ferry although this didn’t really faze us as we have done this many times elsewhere. A tip if you intend to do any cooking during your stay is you will have to get your food at the port. The shop on the Island is small and is limited in choice. Although the beer is cheap €2 a litre and wine good quality €15 for a bottle. Aside from this milk and bread is available but limited to what deliveries they have had. So tip is get it at the port which Nicola will tell you anyway. Eating out is limited choice of 1 restaurant in the village or a walk across the island to the other village which also has 2 restaurants but after you take this on board we didn’t mind the limited choice. We ate in the Stari Miri every night and each night was an occasion sitting on the harbour walls with the sun setting enjoying the perfectly cooked fresh fish or local food special sausages with a litre of wine for €50 just can’t be beat. We walked across the island a couple of times and ate in the fish restaurant which has no sign. We will back to return to heaven on earth.

wonderful stay on kolocep

we had a wonderful, relaxing time on kolocep largely due to our phantastic accommodation. Snjezana and her husband Nicola are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts imaginable, the house is faultless with plenty of extras (games room, kayak, condiments) and the island was ideal for a mix of relaxing (sun terrace, snorkelling in crystal clear waters) and exploring (gornje celo, southern lighthouse, seacaves, 4-5 ferries a day to dubrovnik and easy car hire from dubrovnik port to get to , e.g., nearby Ston). Highly recommended.

Fantastisch!

Die Eigentümer der Immobilie haben uns persönlich empfangen und willkommen geheißen. Den gesamten Aufenthalt über waren sie für uns in einer sehr freundlichen und herzlichen Art und Weise da und hätten bei Problemen geholfen und unterstützt. Die Immobilie ist in einem Top Zustand. Alles ist sehr hochwertig und komfortabel!!! Der Haushalt war mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wurde und sehr viel darüber hinaus. Wir wünschen allen zukünftigen Gästen einen ebenso tollen Urlaub und den Gastgebern alles Gute!

ABSOUTLY AMAZING - MIND BLOWING

If you are reading this, then you are thinking about staying here and all i can say is stop reading and start booking ! Not only is this probably the best villa and location on the whole island, the villa is probably one of the best villa's I've ever stayed in. The attention to the detail, the fixtures fittings and equipment - you can want or need nothing as all is there. BUT that is not the best bit ! The real gem, apart from its location, are the owners - The husband and Wife team are probably two of the nicest people that you will ever meet ! Not only do they organise everything so that your arrival is so smooth and stress free, but you get welcomed with some home cooked snacks, liqueurs and drinks, a feast and very welcome after a long day travelling, followed by guided tour. The love and pride that they take in the home is evident everywhere and they make you feel part of their extended family. Fresh figs plucked from their own trees in the garden for breakfast each morning is already sorely missed. In fact I miss the whole place and will be coming back asap and hopefully will stay friends with them both. My home from home. Seriously I cant believe how anyone can not find this a dream stay. !!! Wish I was there !

Great house on a beautiful islan

We stayed on Kolocep for 8 nights and Snježana and Nikola looked after us from the minute we arrived until the time we left. Nikola met us at the port and Snježana and their son met us at the house with refreshments and home baked treats waiting for us. The house has everything you need and is spotless with lots of spare towels. There is a games room for the children and even a kayak which we used a few times. The location is perfect, one minute to the beach. The island is great for a relaxing holiday with lots of nice walks and interesting caves to visit. We spent many a evening watching the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back. Thank you Snježana snd Nikola for being such wonderful hosts.

Unforgettable

Dit was ons eerste bezoek aan Kroatië en Kolocep heeft ons hart gestolen. We zijn verliefd geworden op de kleine straatjes, mooie stranden, blauwe water, de zonsondergang,... het is bijzonder charmant. Een bezoek aan de andere Elafiti eilanden is zeker de moeite waard en de wandeling naar Kolocep Lighthouse is ook heel mooi. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje met de beste ligging van heel het eiland! Vlak aan het strand, restaurant, winkeltje, en toch heel rustig. Alles is aanwezig, airco en buitendouche is zeker een pluspunt. En wat we zeker niet zullen vergeten is het warme welkom en afscheid die we van fam. Njiric hebben gekregen. Dit was hartverwarmend, bedankt voor alles lieve familie. Tot de volgende keer! Vriendelijke groeten. Koen, Evi, Emília en Kamil.

Great experience!

We had a wonderful time on Kolačep Island! The house is beautiful and the island is spectacular! The beach was great and the closeness to the house-unbeatable! We enjoyed the small restaurants on an island. The only wish would have been to have a slightly better choice in a local grocery store… nice kitchen in the house could have been used more:). Snježana and Nikola are great hosts; we felt welcomed and taken care off! Great place for a quite holiday! Thank you!

Simply idyllic.

The apartment is beautiful and it has an amazing location, overlooking the picturesque bay . It is modern, extremely clean and well equipped for every convenience. As the previous reviewer states, Snjezana and her family were so kind and helpful and they went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed for a perfect holiday; their care and attention to detail made our holiday experience one of the best we’ve ever had. The apartment’s location provides easy access via ferry to beautiful Dubrovnik and the neighbouring Elaphiti islands, though we were more content to stay at the accommodation to enjoy the lovely beach or simply watch the stunning sunset over the bay. Thank you to Snjezana and family for providing such a memorable holiday for us. We definitely recommend to others and we can’t wait to return! PERFECT !

What a beautiful island setting and great accommodation. The owner hosts were fabulous - Snjezana and her family were friendly , helpful and very hospitable. They made us feel at home immediately and went out of their way to welcome us. Kolocep is a little paradise and the villa is well equipped ,clean and well situated. We had the best holiday we can remember and will be booking our return visit very soon. A big thanks thanks to you Snjezana and your family for a memorable holiday.
