Alu Villa - The HomeAway on Mayo College Road

This beautifully built pre independence Villa was lovingly named Alu Villa in 1954 by the Sukhia family , also the owners of New Majestic Talkies . Lived in, until 2018 Alu Villa has been renovated with all modern amenities maintaining the original charm of the villa and now opening her doors to visitors for an experience of Alu Villa “The Homestay”.

Driving into the bungalow you are welcomed by a line of tall trees and a lush green garden with a fountain in the center.The garden is connected to the main bungalow by an open portico/patio where you can sit and enjoy your morning mint and lemongrass tea with your favourite book . Right at the entrance of the bungalow is a cosy living room ,there are 3 guest rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a large common dining room with an attached pantry.

For the “Foodies” the kitchen prepares authentic Parsi dishes like Akuri , Dhansak , Dhai ma Ghost , Salli Boti to name a few of them,the kitchen is equally proficient in Rajasthani cuisine Veg and Non Veg dishes like Gatte ki Sabzi,Lal Maas,Rajasthani Kadhi and many more.Breakfast is included in the room rates.Set menu for Lunch and Dinner is available for vegetarians and non vegetarians at extra cost. Advance notice is requested to be given to the kitchen as all dishes are prepared the same day.
