PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING, PILLOWS AND LINENS FOR DOUBLE BEDS. YOU MUST BRING TOWELS AND TOILETRIES (including toilet paper, and soaps/shampoo and cleaning supplies) AS THEY ARE NOT PROVIDED. Each mattress is covered with a freshly washed cover, protector and must not be removed.

KITCHENS: OUR KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH POTS AND PANS, DISHES, GLASSES, MUGS, CUTLERY AND SOME COOKING AND SERVING UTENSILS. THERE IS A STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE, TOASTER, KETTLE AND COFFEE MAKER. EACH COTTAGE HAS THEIR OWN BARBECUE WITH PROPANE TANK AND A PICNIC TABLE.

I enjoyed the stay the location is great .. the fact that it’s right on the beach is the best part. This is the second time that we stayed at your beach resorts. The cottages are cozy … but could use a little update. The ramp is a little steep and it made it hard for my mom to get up it.. and the mattress’s are a little hard .. but over all the location. Is the best part

Great place to stay

This is our second time staying at Sandpiper and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Staying here is about location, location, location. The cottages are no frills however you have the beach at your doorstep and easy access to everything that Wasaga has to offer. Love staying here and I am sure we will be back again soon enough.

Easy access to beach

Great location and short walk to the beach. Cozy cottage. Only negative was the ramp into cottage makes it a bit difficult to get items up. Would definitely recommend.

We spend two nigh there , location is very good and cottage was clean , only problem was the ramp to go to cottage was so steep , it was a bit difficult going up and down with wet and sandy shoes , overall good experience.

30 second walk to the lake.

Rustic and all equipped... Everything you need from a beach house... BBQ, hot shower, cold fridge, coffee machine, ect... It was perfect for 4 children plus 2 adults. Thank you sandpiper beach resort.

My friends and I had a great stay! The location on the beach was beautiful. Not a far walk into the town which was nice. The cabin itself was good. The only thing was we found the ramp to be a bit tricky. But overall, the cabin suited us perfectly. The manager and the maintenance staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our stay better than expected. Thank you for a great weekend!

Cottage 6

The overall cottage was clean, location was wonderful, views were fantastic, couldnt have asked for a better view, however the ramp to get into the cottage is very dangerous. The railing only went 3/4 of the way down and is very steep. There is no way an elderly or a person with disabilities could get it. This should really be changed.

We loved this cottage so much. It’s not that the cottage was the nicest but the location was amazing, right on the beach. The property manager was also very easy to deal with and was very nice. Being on the beach with the kids felt like a true getaway. We booked again and can’t wait to return. Grocery stores are 6-10 mins away. You need to bring your own pillows, sheets, towels, toilet paper and soap. There is utensils and pots and pans. We just brought paper plates. They have smart tv’s and wifi. Overall the family loved it. Just be sure you check out all cottages available, some are bigger than others.

Nice property / not manager

The Manager of this site was rude and not helpful. The check in and out times are unreasonable. When I asked for an extension they gave me one but the morning of, they called me and yelled at me to vacate the premise and accused me of having drug paraphernalia when there was none. Again, the property was nice with a great view and atmosphere. The cottage was very basic but clean. Would not stay again due to the managers inability to be reasonable or civil.

Please be advise that there were many cottages calling to complain about your cottage. We try our hardest to make sure that everyone has a good time and are not disturbed by others not following our rules. We have zero tolerance on the property for people not following our rules.

Worst Management Ever

We booked this place as it stated "Parties & events (including family gatherings, birthday parties and weddings) are allowed on site". We were throwing a bachelor party & sent a messaging asking if we were able to come slightly earlier to set up. They were rude & hostile to us & told us they were not a party place & asked "did you even read our rules & regulations". The rules and regulations arent even stated on the site, its what they send to you after you book. With back & forth they changed their story & said they allow parties. A few moments later I got a call from 'Susan' apologizing & saying that the initial rude messages were not for me & they would be so happy to have us! How funny! We went ahead with out rental. We get there & it is party central (which is funny considering we were told we werent allowed to party). Their minimum age restriction is 25+. Weird cuz they allowed 15-20 17 year olds to rent cottages & party there! These kids would not leave us alone & kept asking us for alcohol. Susan called me at some point too enraged that we apparently werent 25+ (which isnt true) so that was interesting since they let the actual minors stay all weekend. Our cottage had 4 leaks in the bedroom, we had to switch cottages to sleep. They tried kicking us out at 9am & yelled at us when we have a text that our checkout was 11. Also youd think with having to clean 2 cottages because of their horribly built one theyd let us stay a bit later. Nice place but management sucks!

The message you received on the VRBO sire was not meant for you as there was a technical glitch to the site that VRBO was well aware of. We immediately apologized for that. That is not someone trying to be hostile. hat was something out of our control. We also want to make clear that we have text messages to your phone Proving you are dishonest. Please read your messages from us as we text you first thing in the morning to ask your the time of arrival. You did not ask us to come earlier. We do not know till last minute if we can offer an earlier checkin because it is based on the cleaning schedule. The cottage was ready in the morning. We also sent you a message of your checkout time of 11 am. The message was received on your phone as you had text right after. I can assure you no one yelled at you to leave at 9 am. The cleaning crew was not there till 10 am Yes we did get a leak and we immediately offered another cottage to you with bedding. There was heavy rain and it cause roof damage. These are cottages and sometimes cannot be controlled. Yes we called you to make sure there was someone over the age of 25 at your cottage as we got a noise complaint regarding your cottage. It is our job to make sure everyone is following the rules. No one yelled at you. It was a simple question and you did not seem bothered by it. Our guests appreciate that we try hard to make sure there is no noise disturbance to our other guests. You also did not reach out to us to complain about any other guests bothering you. Had you done so it would have been addressed immediately. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and we try very hard to do so. Your review is dishonest and is slander and lies and will be reported accordingly.

Beachbums!!

I have to say this is my first experience with renting a property to stay. Was very easy communication with the Host, she was extremely accommodating Through communication She allowed Us to an earlier Check In time As well as a very generous check out time. Beach was right out side the door and was not overly crowded. Great neighbors, NO problems. We really enjoyed Our stay and definitely will be back. My only feed back on this cottage would be some stairs Added to the ramp it was not user friendly. It was Steep. The shower curtain needs to be Secured better and that tub needs a bath mat for it is very slippy with out one! Loved it😀

Exactly as expected

Great spot right by the beach! Exactly as advertised. Host was quick to respond and accommodating with requests. The beach in this area was not busy at all. Only thing was there were no stairs to this cabin, was a bit of a problem for one of us who had knee issues but not a huge deal. If thats a problem for you, id choose one of the cabins with stairs. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay, would definitely come back!

Family reunion

Very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great location to beach and activities in town. Would definitely stay here again. It is difficult to give a great rating on the cleanliness of the location as it is right on the beach. On our cottage I would recommend having stairs or a better ramp if the purpose was to assist the physically challenged. It would also help to have a few more utensils and dishes. Overall it was a great time there.

Love this place

My friends and I rented out cottage 6 for 4 days, we had an amazing time there, Susan is awesome and reply’s right away to text messages, I will be renting again for this August 2022, when I secure more funds and will be making this a yearly getaway from now on, yes you can party here if it’s done right, just don’t make to much noise at night and it’s all good we all were drunk and high AF and had no complaints from other people but all in all I definitely recommend staying here, cabin was up to date nice and cozy, simple and easy to clean up before we left, all the amenities were great enjoyed nextflix at night before passing out air conditioner cooled down the cabin fast and Baseboard heaters warmed it up quick at night when it’s cold, my only regret is that I didn’t book a full 7 days there my friends and I will be doing that next summer, and I hope Jennifer the one who cleans the cottage enjoys the 28 of beer and cash tip I left her, she’s amazing as well very nice, was able to book a late check out for noon that was awesome plus park there the rest of the day there and enjoy the beach, it was the best stress free weekend with friends I’ve had in a long time, the bars and clubs were fun at night on beach 1 as well, can’t wait to go back again this summer
