Lakefront Home, with Beach, Dock, Pickleball court, 6 bed 5 bath on Spirit Lake

Lakefront paradise with level lawn to private sandy beach and dock on beautiful Spirit Lake. Pickleball court & parking for five plus vehicles. Sleeps 16. Five minutes from town: (groceries, restaurants, fuel). Travel time to the cabin is about twenty-five minutes from Coeur d'Alene, and 50 minutes from Spokane.
Inside the cabin has lodge style rustic furniture, comfortable beds and sofas, complete kitchen w/double convection oven, 2-fridges, 2-freezers, dishwasher, microwave, tile floor, granite countertops, etc. Also equipped with wifi, 65" large screen TV, and billiard table. Outside, lawn, beach and dock w/covered boat slip, hot tub, fire ring, awesome lake views from 2 large decks for outdoor meals, BBQ, and lounging. Two nearby golf courses, 10-15 minutes away.

Spirit Lake is excellent for water skiing, surfing, swimming, great fishing (bass, trout, silvers, etc.) and other water sports. Boat launch is about 2 minutes from property. We truly get spoiled by the 'glass' on this lake. Adjacent hills and mountains are flush with trails for ATVs, mt. biking, and hiking. This rental does not include a boat, tubes, or wave runners featured in the pictures.

We've been going to this lake for family reunions for the last 30 years. Feel free to call or email with any questions or about availability.

Summer weekly rates: 4900-7900/wk. plus Idaho state tax and a cleaning fee.
(June, July, and August)we rent only by the week, Saturday to Saturday. 3-night minimum other months. Thanksgiving, four night minimum and a five night minimum during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Great stay overall! Beds are comfortable. Lots of room for everyone. Nice flat, shaded yard to roam next to the beach and lake. Big driveway to play and park. Home, dock and kitchen ware are old. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and toys for the lake and sand. But overall would stay again. Thanks for sharing your home!

Location, location, location!!!!!! Very quiet and private, great lakeside presence, nice dock, great general area, lots of lake toys available, perfect weather, lake was relatively full, Silverwood Amusement Park nearby........... However, house is badly in need of some basic maintenance, very loud exhaust fans in several bathrooms, several lights and appliances didn't work. faucets didn't turn off all the way and dripped (annoying at night), air conditioning is barely adequate to keep house cool, overgrown trees with lots of dead branches, fruit tree at entrance needs to come out, mostly dead and lots of fruit on walkway entrance and then on shoes into the house... All in all a great spot and we had a great time despite the maintenance shortfalls, to be honest, I did maintenance for 45 years, so I notice these things. With some repairs, I would rent again for sure.

Family Vacation

Our three generation family enjoyed our stay. The lake is beautiful. Especially enjoyed the decks and dock. The pool table, pickle ball and hot tub were also popular with everyone. There was large spaces to gather the whole family, yet quiet areas to retreat to to rest and unwind. Very enjoyable vacation.

Overall this was a wonderful vacation. The Kitchen was extremely well-stocked. We had a family reunion with boating and notable birhdays. I left information with the neighbors (Dan & Stephanie) on other things found (minor) that I thought the homeowner would like to know. Very memorable week!

The location and waterfront are superb. The whole family enjoyed the dock and beach. We brought along our own paddleboards, life jackets and rented a boat for a few days.We had a trouble with the dock after a windy day, but the owner quickly had a crew out to fix it.The rooms and space in the house worked well for our large extended family. I do wish there had been some extra pillow cases as many of us like two pillows and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases. I bought a few at the Dollar Family store in town. The living room dining room, kitchen, game room are all open, so that made being with all 16 of us not feel crowded. Also the deck was great with lots of seating.A negative for us was that the pipes would "sing" in some water use combinations. Since we had 4 couples and teenage children, the getting up times began at 5 AM and some did not go to bed until 1 or 2 AM. So we were frequently awakened by the loud pipes. Not sure how that can be fixed easily. Overall a great place to stay on the lake. Bring your own water toys and enjoy the peace especially midweek

Trees over grown and scratched vehicles as you drive in, whole property could use some assistance with landscapers. House has 4 ac units. 1 ac downstairs to cover living space and 3 bedrooms and 3 ac units upstairs for 3 bedrooms. We cleaned out the filters they were very bad in hopes that they worked more efficiently. In order to keep rooms cool you Need to leave all doors open at all times so no privacy. The room upstairs with the bunk beds has no window and the ac unit must draft into the attic, which drained onto the floor of the room so the floor was very wet. Everything upstairs drafted through that room into the attic beings there were openings into the attic from the closet space. Again all doors had to be left open at all times. That room was not able to be utilized we were instructed to open all windows at sun down to cool things down as the temperature ran over 90 degrees in that bedroom with ac running. That ac unit did not have a filter so we tried really hard to clean out all the dirt and grime in it the best we could. That room was just not useable with the 90 degree heat. We did try to call Kevin to see if there was something else that could be done but did not receive call back. Propane was not filled, tables outside had lots of sap on them. We swept and cleaned things best we could. Inside house very cute, stocked well, nice house and would go back again with ac updates and maybe some more attention put on landscape and updates.

Family reunion at Spirit Lake

This was a very comfortable venue for our family reunion of 13 adults. The open kitchen/dining/living arrangement gave us plenty of space to be together. We brought kayaks to explore the beautiful lake. We also enjoyed exploring the little town of Spirit Lake. We recommend bringing your own games, sports equipment, beach towels, fire wood, etc.

Family Reunion 2022

Perfect location and home for our family gathering. Waterfront just out the door across a grassy lawn. It was our focus for the week. Lake conditions were perfect and the home had everything we needed. Neighbors were wonderful and appreciated our heavily medical family member professionals. Kids had a blast playing together, swimming, playing games, eating all together and evening games sessions. We love this place!!

Great Family Vacation

Our family has been reuniting on these lakes for 15 years. This was our 6th house and probably the best. There was space to get away and space to come together. Our teens could always find something to do. There are two decks and we loved them both. The grassy area with easy access to the beach was great. We were happy to reschedule for next year.

Spirit lake is still kind of quiet compared to other lakes in the region. Not too windy and minimal boat traffic make it ideal for water sports. The proximity to town, golfing, and theme park is really nice.
