FUN IN THE SUN AT POV! | TONS OF FUN AMENITIES INCLUDED IN RATE | Badger’s Retreat – Unit 8 is a lovely year-round cabin combining the charm of a Northwoods cottage with the conveniences of a home. The newly-renovated unit has a spacious living room/dining area, a fully-outfitted kitchen, and an updated roomy and bright full bathroom. The unit also has an electric fireplace stove – great for year-round ambience. A picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal and gas grills are right outside your door on the spacious deck.

The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds and a set of bunk beds – very popular with kids! Bedrooms have comfortable firm memory-foam beds and upscale bedding. Fresh linens, blankets, pillows, towels, TP & paper towels, and bathroom/kitchen soaps are provided.

PETS: No pets allowed in this unit.

UPGRADE YOUR STAY

ROMANCE PACKAGE: Treat your special someone with romantic vacation on the lake! Includes dinner for 2 at Craftsman American Tavern or charcuterie and drinks at Mary-Kate's Wine Bar, locally-made sweet treats, one of bubbly/wine/beer, gourmet hot cocoa or coffee, and custom mugs. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION – A NEMA 14-30 220 Amp Outlet is available upon request in advance to charge electric vehicles. It is a standard RV/EV 30 amp 220v outlet. You can reserve the station by messaging us with the request - we will confirm the reservation and availability before your stay.

ULTIMATE SPRING, SUMMER, & FALL GETAWAY
Nature is THE place to be, and we've got plenty of it here at Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort and Glamping Campground. During the spring, summer, and fall months POV Resort is a beautiful wilderness retreat. We have excellent fishing on North Twin Lake, whether you fish off our docks or further out on the lake. Crystal clear waters also provide expansive room for POV's water sports - swimming, tubing, boating, and water skiing as well as canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Either rent one of our boats or bring your own boat or wave runners for fun on the crystal-clear waters of North Twin Lake. Horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and on-site trails are just some of the activities offered on-site at the resort’s campus. And there is always the sport of relaxing on our great sandy beach or having some indoor fun in our renovated rec room! Plus, there is a TON to do nearby that is reviewed in our extensive Northwoods Area Guidebook.

Nice Place

The cabin was nice, clean, and the manager, Nick, was very responsive. I would recommend more storage in the cabins for guests belongings; dressers or wardrobes would be preferable to living out of a suitcase.

Beautiful woods

The woods were thick and very beautiful and perfect for those looking to do foraging. We got rained out most of the time while there- it would have been fine but the tv was in and out and same with the wifi. We didn't mind tv that much but my special needs daughter needs her cartoon fix! Lol. The kids were excited to use the pool tables and arcade but it was closed they said due to covid. It state this would be the case in the ad or we probably would have gone with our second choice. Lake was beautiful and paddle boards/ boat and volleyball court were the highlight for the kids.

We really enjoyed our stay with these great hosts! Our cabin was ready when we arrived, the place was clean & the owners were very nice & hospitable. A short drive from Ski Brule, I will book my stays up north with them again every time! Friendly, affordable, conveniences on site, & just the type of people you want to run into with your booking needs! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cozy little cabin! We look forward to our next retreat! 5 Star rating!

In early 2018, we (Darren and Genevieve Coady) decided to go on a new adventure, take the plunge, and become America's next small business owners buying the resort formerly known as North Twin Lodge. We like to think of ourselves as caretakers of this wonderful resort that has and means so much to so many.

So what led us here? We have had much experience in camping. And we know a lot about vacationing. Darren has run a community center that hosts events, and Genevieve has a background in community planning and economic development. We have a son, Oliver, whom we want to bring up living a good life - knowing hard work but enjoying the relaxation of nature.

Bottom line, we felt it was time to do more to give back to others. Using our collective professional experience - thrown in with a dash of fun - our dream of owning a resort was born. When we found North Twin Lodge we fell in love with its history, its tradition of returning guests, and the lake. In October, 2018 we opened doors and haven't looked back.

As for the name change, Darren's childhood home was named "Coadys' Point of View" as it was on the end point of an overlook. With the resort having a walkway on the lake out to the point on the property, the Coadys' decided to keep the name for their future home.

INCLUDED AMENITIES IN RENTAL RATE: POV is more than a glamping/camping rental, it is a resort. Part of what makes POV Resort so special is our amenities included. We do have high-speed wifi throughout the main resort – so if you need to send an email or stream a movie on a rainy day, we’ve got you covered. Each cabin comes with a boat slip, and additional boat slips are available to rent. Our base rates include more amenities than you would expect from any other Northwoods experience, including access to:

Access to Common Spaces/Amenities: Bathhouse, Newly-Renovated Rec Building, Coin-Operated Laundry Room, Fishhouse

----- Access to Outdoor Amenities: Beach/Docks, Basketball Court, Playground, Sand Volleyball, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Ring Toss, Trails, Wood Swings, Hammocks, Beachfront Shower
