There are no direct cabins in front, behind, or on one side of the property, and the neighboring cabin on the other side is set far enough away to preserve a peaceful, private atmosphereā€”allowing you to truly disconnect and unwind.
Mountain Star Lodge is designed with windows, inviting the forest in and filling the open-concept living, dining, and game-table spaces with natural light and serene treetop views. Step inside to discover refined comfort and classic mountain luxury. The great room anchors the home with a 65ā€ 4K UHD TV, and two full size sofas, perfect for cozy movie nights or gathering with family and friends.
The chef-inspired kitchen blends beauty and functionality with granite countertops, a zero-radius sink, stainless steel appliances, a double oven, and both drip and Keurig coffee makers. A generous selection of cookware makes hosting effortless, while the charming bistro-barrel table is ideal for slow mornings and fresh coffee.
Inside, friendly competition awaits with two game consoles and a foosball table, and board games adding a fun, relaxed element to evenings spent together.

A short drive will put you at the Mountain Fork Brewery, Okie Girls Ice Cream Shop, Shuck Me seafood restaurant, Knotted Rope Winery, The Tasting Room Bar, and Hochatown Distilling Company, gift shop and other Hochatown area attractions.

Great House

We took our kids and grandkids for a mini vacation, and this house was perfect. Had perfect amount of space for everyone and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here and recommend to anyone again.

Beautiful home

We loved the house and surrounding property. The house was beautiful and big enough for our whole family. Plenty of games for us to play. Enjoyed grilling and eating outside. Beds were big and comfortable and the showers were amazing.

Beautiful place!

We had a little girls getaway where we just wanted to relax, cook together, drink wine, and enjoy being away from everything. This was all we wanted. It's a beautiful house, with plenty to do including a big hot tub. We would love to return here at some point.

Outstanding Rustic Mini-cation!

Property was outstanding! Perfect for our group of six friends looking for a weekend getaway. The house/cabin was extremely clean and welcoming! Loved all the extra touches done from nice fluffy towels to hand soaps. The video game was fun to watch our spouses competing on! Cabin was located 10 min from everything we had planned for hiking, boat tour, dining. We made breakfast at the house and had all the amenities needed. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Great family getaway

The cabin was just like it was advertised and was a great fit for our family. It was clean and ready when we arrived. The wrap around porch was perfect for catching up. The video arcade game was fun and brought back lots of memories for this 80's kid . The only drawback to the cabin was at certain times there was a lot of noise from the highway which was nearby. If we go back to Broken Bow, we will definitely rent this cabin again.

Mountain Star is the bomb!!!

My family and I recently stayed 5 nights at the Mountain Star. I have to say that Rustic Luxe does it right. They are clearly a notch above-from all the little extras they equip the cabin with (the fully decorated Christmas tree was an excellent touch) to the level of service and communication they provided us with. Ms Norma was attentive to our every need as well as communicating proactively and responding promptly when needed. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home

Our stay was wonderful! Compared to other stays, this home had everything. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and overall peaceful. We loved being surrounded by tall trees, and it was a great help with the heat! We all took many turns on the hammock, and in the evening took a small nap while my husband grilled our dinner. My kiddos enjoyed the games available but not as much as making smores. This is one for the books and definitely a recommendation for all that look for a spacious home, peaceful lot, and quiet evenings!

I would not rent from them again

When we arrived we could not make it up the hill and had to back down and restart in 4 Wheel Dr. When we got there we all unpacked and it was about seven-ish and found out that the downstairs air conditioner did not work the shower and one of the downstairs bedrooms will clog up and not drain the other bedroom the sink would not drain. The ice banker had no ice and it didnā€™t work and when I mentioned to her when I finally got to talk to her she said it was in the contract but we could never find it. So I called and left a message for the next morning never did hear from them so I recalled a text to Number that they had given us and finally about 2 oā€™clock I tried again and a lady answered the phone and said she had not heard a word from us or a message from us and I have to say thatā€™s very on accurate

Fall Family Getaway

My husband and I visited Hochatown in September and enjoyed it so much we took the whole family in early November. The cabin was very nice. All the kids, even the adults, enjoyed the fooseball table and arcade game, as well as having enough space to play hide and seek. It stormed the first night, but we were lucky not to lose power, we did however lose tv signal for a bit, due to it being a satellite dish. The porch fire pit was amazing and easy to use, so was the hot tub, even though it is a little dated. The showers are very fancy, maybe a little too fancy. I will say there isnā€™t any foil or zip lock bags to store leftover food in, I wish we would have brought some. Also, there werenā€™t any candles or flashlights in case of power loss or setting a romantic mood if youā€™re with your honey, but we packed them knowing the weather Friday was going to be bad. The owner/company was always quick to respond with emails, and was very kind. I will also add if you are looking for complete quiet, this isnā€™t the cabin for you because you can hear the highway traffic from inside the house. All in all the whole family enjoyed the stay, even the dog! We look forward to booking with this company again and finding more great cabins to make memories in.

GREAT vacation spot for our family get-away!

Very clean & beautiful cabin with a fully stocked kitchen! Loved the decor throughout the entire house! 2 large couches in living area to relax and play games. Comfy king beds in all bedrooms~ loved all the small details from nice soap dispensers to plush towels to a beautifully set dining table. We enjoyed each morning of our stay on the huge wrap around deck (mostly covered too) & most dinners out on one of the 2 large picnic tables. Great cushioned couch and gas fireplace/coffee table. Enjoyed a fire in the firepit each night. No need to bring extra beach towels, we used those provided for the hot tub, which also had a great open deck with bar height table and barstools! The arcade games with also fun for all! The showers were great! All with custom LED lights/functions, very fancy. The bedrooms had everything all of us needed from dresser storage, a portable playpen, futon, etc. Great washer/dryer too with plenty of dishwasher soaps/laundry soaps and a dog kennel and basket of goodies (which we didn't need as we didn't bring any pets but I thought what a nice touch! We loved that this cabin was just a few minutes to everything in town! We loved Beavers Bend Brewery, Mountain Fork Brewery, Grateful Head for pizza, rented a boat at Broken Bow Marina, visited the petting zoo, putt putt, golfed at Cedar Creek Golf Course & our adult kids took their paddle boards out at one of the shallow camping areas. Grabbed ice cream at Okie girls. (most food was expensive, but what isn't these days!) We checked out Vojais Winery (wished we would have gone to Girls Gone Wine) and our last day we hiked Friends Trail in the State Park. The only place to grab food before heading into town is at Pruitts. Plenty of gas stations on 429, main north/south road. We just had one issue with a knob on the stovetop, which was loose. Informed the owner. Cell coverage is sparse unfortunately in the area. but communication was pretty good, just some lag in getting back to me. Overall a really great cozy cabin and would highly recommend!!

Family pre-holiday get away

Cabin was lovely and they set up Christmas decorations. Very clean. Only had an issue with one of the beds upstairs had black dog hair on the sheets. Looking forward to booking again. Family had a great time.

Sweet secluded cabin

Although it was missing some of the amenities we have become used to when we stay in the area it was a nice stay. I would not recommend for multiple families as there are only two full baths, unless sharing bathrooms is your thing. Also want to note that there is no outside fireplace, which I missed greatly, Also wished there was a cushioned chair or couch on the deck. And the showers need an update. Overall though it was a cozy and enjoyable.

Bad experience

We booked for three nights but have to leave before third night because the electricity went out and no water running we had eight month and 18 month old and itā€™s Way too hot for them to stay in. I tried it to the owner and she said sheā€™s out of town and that way you donā€™t have to stay there. And refuses to give us a refund it was a beautiful cabin however I wouldnā€™t recommend it booking this cabin.
