Spec's place Table Rock Lake

One of our repeat guests stated "This lake house has been a great vacation getaway for our family and friends for quite a few years now. We enjoy the friendly neighbors but also the privacy."
You can call owners to book or go through VRBO to book with a Credit Card. Spec's Place OnThe Lake' is located in Turkey Mountain West (the quiet side of the lake) just minutes from the town of Shell Knob. Spec's Place will provide you the vacation you've been dreaming of. The property is on a private deadend road; a short walk to the lake, house fully equipped for all your needs. We have a spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath;, sleeps 9; with eat in kitchen and dining area. Covered patio right off kitchen. Laundry room with Washer and Dryer. Living room has ample seating with large picture window viewing the lake. Deck just outside the living room. Relax on the covered deck overlooking the lake and take in the scenery. The house is just a short walk to the lake. Our boat launch is just a few of blocks away. Boat slip and lift accessible and available. Many amenities are included in staying at Spec's Place on the Lake including a place to launch and dock your boat. Since we are on the quiet side of Table Rock Lake water sports such as tubing and skiing are great! if you get the munchies stop in the several restaurants while out on the lake . If you want to spend the day shopping, there are several flea markets and antique malls in the area or you can have a scenic drive and spend the day in Branson or Eureka Springs.

The house is cozily settled on a private cove away from the hussle bussle of traffic and noise. The property gently slopes down to the lake. Spec's Place is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen easily sits six at the dining table and four at the bar. Dishes and condiments are provided along with a gas grill and picnic tables. Don't bother arguing who is going to do the dishes because a dishwasher is waiting for all those dirty dishes.

Just want to watch TV? A video library, DVD and satelitte TV is available for you to enjoy, as well as plenty of games for your enjoyment along with playing cards.

No need to worry about not bringing enough to wear, we have for your convenience a washer and dryer; towels and sheets are also provided.

Relax with your morning cup of coffee while sitting out on the deck swing enjoying the view. Turkey Mountain is surrounding the area with the lake below it. You can't ask for a more tranquil moment.

For luanching your boat there is a boat launch just a few blocks from Spec's Place. The Big 'M' is the closest marina by boat. You can purchase supplies, gas and food and they have a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. If you want to rent a boat, Campbell's Point Marina is the closest by car.

Spec's is SPECtacular!

We have stayed here several times through the years and always have great time! It's a great place for a fun family get away. The lake is close by and always a good time.

Love Spec's Place

We have been vacationing at Spec's Place every summer for over 10 years. What a great place for a family vacation! Excellent boat slip, great location on the quiet end of the lake with restaurants a short boat ride away. The deck and the carport are awesome spots for family fun, food, and conversation.

Annual Summer Lake Trip

Once again we stayed at Spec's Place and it was great as always. Its quiet, clean and comfortable. Morning views of the Lake on the front porch swinging and after a full day on the lake the evenings were spent relaxing outside under the covered area hanging out with family. Definitely worth the stay! Our forth time staying here.

Summer Break

House was clean and inviting, big plus was bathrooms were recently updated and big. Plenty of room for guests to relax inside or outside. Having a boatslip available for use was a huge bonus and it was a very short walk to get to.

Summer vacation

Repeat visitor to this home. Home is clean, comfy and neighborhood is quiet. Manager called prior to arrival to let us know it would be open for us upon arrival and then again mid-week to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend staying here!

Specs Place - A great place to enjoy your vacation

My family has been going to table rock lake for the past 20 + years for our family vacations and this is the first time we have stayed at Specs Place. We all loved it. It truly is the perfect home for enjoying your vacation on the lake. We had our kids and grand daughter with us and it was just perfect for all of us. So much room, great views and everything you could possibly need. We will truly look forward to returning to Specs place. We recommend this house as it is the PERFECT vacation getaway!!

SPECSTACULAR

We always enjoy our time at Specs Place on Table Rock Lake. The remodeled master bathroom is very nice. The lake shore is a bit more open so we had a better view of the lake. It is a great place to spend time with your family especially during the pandemic. We all had our vaccines and were able to be together under one roof! Loved it!

Beautiful location

This was a last minute booking as our original plans fell through. Renee was amazing to work with and unknowingly provided a Thanksgiving miracle for our family! The house is cozy and comfortable, the views are spectacular and the neighborhood was quiet. The neighbor Judy is a delight and we would definitely stay here again!

Shell Knob stay on the water

This was an easy, affordable and fun experience. Great location for boating with plenty of room for cooking for our family of 8.

Boat slip hard to get to

Pro: the house is good wiith beds being comfortable and well supplied. Directions to the location were not clear. Cons: the boat slip was rocky, steep, weedy. At the end was a 2x4 board to walk on to reach the shoreline. Had to rent a boat slip at Big M marina a 30 drive each way by truck. For that reason we won't be back.

Another great stay!

Repeat stay, same great property and amenities. Covered patio is a great place to hang out, the swing on the covered deck was a relaxing place to watch the rain and view the lake. Having a slip and lift for my boat so close to the house was very convenient, we did miss not having a ladder this year to get up from lounging in the water to the dock (used the back of boat though). Judy is so easy to work with and had several ideas for things to do in the area on our rain day. House was clean and well stocked...very much enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Experience

Got lucky and was able to book Spec's place last minute. Although it is difficult to tell from photos and having never been in the area, this place is awesome. Very well stocked for whatever may come up, walking distance to dock with boat slip, and incredible lake views. Property manager Judy was very accommodating and a real sweetheart!!

Great Home near the Lake .But not really a lakefront one.

The home was one of the best stocked vacation homes I have ever rented. With modern updates and very clean... The owners and manager are so easy to work with and reply quickly to any concerns. Reason for 3 🌟 rating.. This home is well off the beaten path.. From the photos it appears to be a bit secluded with halfway decent views of the lake.. Unfortunately the pictures are a little dated . The pictures may have been taken in the fall or spring with less foliage on the trees... From the porch straight across the home and small street is a empty lot . Not apart of the home. So you will have 0 views of the lake and heavily obstructed views of most of the shoreline. Too the right ,,across the street ,,of the home . U have a home with a porch that has plain views of yours. To the left... With in feet of your porch you have a home under construction. So you can listen to there music as they work. I knew the boat house was a little walk away. Which is really like a city block. With a rocky driveway.. When asked if a could drive instead of walking to it , I was told no.. Making it impossible for a family member who is disabled in a wheelchair access to the lake for boating without utilizing the private property lot. The boat house itself is one slip and one landing board walkway. Not much room for a family to swim from or fish.. With all this said . We still had a wonderful vacation... Just make sure you ask alot of questions ,swing by and check things out. Or try and get current satellite pictures... Spent thousands on my vacation and feel I could have done a little better on the home... Good luck...

Great spot!

We were entertained by hummingbirds, bunnies and squirrels when enjoying the covered deck. Spacious house, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great to have washer/dryer. Boat slip adds to our lake time.

Wonderful vacation spot!

We enjoyed our stay at Spec's Place very much. The home was beautiful, and stocked with everything needed! Beds were comfortable, house was clean, and if you brought a boat to play on the lake, the boat slip and lift were a giant added bonus for us. I'm jealous, and wish I owned this place myself! Thank you for sharing such a great place with my family. We're already looking at dates for 2018.

Wonderful property and location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Spec's Place and we can't wait to go back! The house is well maintained, and there was plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. The location is perfect, it is only a short walk to the boat slip and there are views of the lake from the deck. Renee was very easy to work with, and she was prompt in replying to all of my questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quiet location

We selected this house for its spaciousness. Planned a large family gathering celebrating a college graduation. The house was very well kept and Renee was helpful and friendly. Much time was spent on the large porch. The neighborhood was quiet and great for early morning or late evening walks. The location was easy to get to either Branson or Eureka for a day away. The living room was large enough for everyone to spend the evening watching movies or playing games. Plenty of parking since everyone had to travel at separate times. The men and children had the opportunity to fish in the Cove and from the public dock. Would return again. Thanks for the hospitality.

As our children moved away and started their own families it only seemed right to purchase a place on the lake so we could all get together and have fun. We chose our particular property due to the lake location, beauty and peaceful environment but yet close to other areas of interest.

We fell in love with the house and proximity to the lake. It was a retreat from the hussle bussle of a busy lifestyle bringing serenity and beauty to all who visit. Turkey Mountain National Forest and Table Rock Lake surround the area. Beauty, quietness, spacious house, and fun! Just a short walk to the dock. Boat launch just a few blocks away. It's fun tubing and skiing or going for a moonlight ride in the boat. Short distance to Marina and restaurants by boat. The town of Shell Knob is only about 10 minutes away. Branson and Eureka Springs is about a 35/45 minute scenic drive.
