2 bedroom villa with year round heated private pool(extra cost for heating ) South West facing garden.(Sleeps 4) Free Wifi. This beautiful villa which is on the 5 Star Mar Menor Golf Resort has one double and one twin bedroom. Kitchen with all facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. Cable TV English , French , German, Swedish and Danish channels. South west facing sun terrace and patio over looking 2nd fairway. Secure gated complex with 5 Star Hotel. On the resort there is an excellent supermarket, ,padel tennis, and resort swimming pool with poolside bar serving food and drinks at reasonable prices.This is seasonal & may vary its opening times.There are bars and restaurants at the hotel which is only a few minutes walk away. There are further bars and restaurants 15 mins walk away which are open all year round. The villa and the resort is ideal for golfers or families to have the perfect holiday. Carbon Monoxide alarm fitted. Cot and highchair, 2 sets of golf clubs (Calloway Strata) available at no extra charge. New Murcia airport 20-25 minutes away.

A great place to stay.

We have visited this property a number times and have always found it to be one of the best places to spend a lovely relaxing holiday. This was time was just as lovely as all the other times. The property is well equipped if you wish to cook at home, the beds are very comfortable and a lovely garden and pool.

Perfect relaxing villa holiday

We have just returned home from the most relaxing 2 week holiday at this villa. Villa was just perfect for what we wanted, really clean and homely with everything we needed and the best part was the completely private pool area. We didn’t visit any of the onsite restaurants but instead chose to go to the strip just outside the resort - so many good restaurants to choose from (Gordon Bennett’s was our favourite!) The communication from John and Philipa throughout the booking process and our stay was also excellent. Highly recommend and we would love to return!!

Perfect family stay!

What can I say, from the second I booked, John was incredibly informative via text & email! The villa itself is in a stunning complex of mar Menor golf course. 10 mins drive from the airport as we rented a car (definitely recommend) to ensure we could travel and see the stunning surround areas like La Manga, Los Alcázares, Loz Narejos & The zoo/waterpark Terra Natura! The villa has a great kitchen & bathrooms! There’s not a thing you won’t find in this villa that you’d have at home. The bikes are great for nipping to the on site spar shop which opens until 9pm! We went with a 6 month old baby, we had a cot & high chair ready and waiting for us! The air con is fantastic in every room & to complete the package... the pool is INSANE! We sat out most nights watching the local bats dip & weave over the golf course! Do not second guess this villa, it’s perfect for a family & accessible to EVERYWHERE! Thank you so much John!

Big Disappointment

Property did not meet the expectation of the description on VRBO. Poorly maintained with very aged furniture and fittings. Toilet downstairs not attached to floor, hand basin had malfunctioning plug and thick scale to rim of plug hole. Faux leather degraded and coming off dining chairs. Upstairs bathroom had rusty radiator and rust in bath. Chipped tiles on floor and paint flaking off stair handrail. Frying pan unusable and fridge/freezer in need of defrosting as it was clearly struggling with working due to layers of ice. There was an issue with bugs in the kitchen and a rat in the garden. I could go on with more issues but will address these with the host. The swimming pool and location of the villa was excellent.

This has come as a huge shock. We always try to make our guests stay to be the most enjoyable & relaxing. If we are notified of any concerns then they are always addressed immediately. Unfortunately in this case, I asked if everything was ok during the first week of your stay & you replied saying “yes“ everything was ok. During a “long let “ it is up to the guests who are renting to keep the property up to standard & keep us informed of any problems which may arise during that period. It is with great regret that you did not say any of this during your stay. I had no idea of your complaints & was not given the opportunity to rectify them. It is very frustrating to hear your issues after your return. We always try to offer the best standards where possible & to update the property on a regular basis replacing anything which is brought to our attention. All of these issues will now certainly be explored.

Relaxing 2 weeks in the sun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our star. The villa was great - comfy beds and sofa, excellent AC and the outside area was perfect for us! Loved the pool and the position of the villa with the greenery around. Unfortunately the pool went green towards the end of our stay so couldn’t enjoy it as much for a couple of days, but John and Phillipa kept in touch to help us sort jt. We didn’t bring our own pool tools as we didn’t realise they weren’t included but luckily the resort management office gave us some 😊. Would not hesitate to book again. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, quiet, has a couple of bars and restaurants you can use as well as some just outside - about a 15 min flat walk! We stayed in most days and nights as it was too nice to leave! A Lidl, Aldi and Mercadona about 10 mi s away by car - but the onsite Spar is fab! We just enjoy exploring different supermarkets. A large carrefour about 20 mins away too. We BBQd every night except 3. The only small things id love to make it even better would be some cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom eg bleach for the loo, a mat just inside the patio doors (as even if you’re being careful after the pool, popping in for a drink, the floor gets slippery ), pool towels and some kitchen essentials like salt / pepper / oil as is a waste to bit each time. Lovely neighbours too! Hubby enjoyed watching the golfers but did t partake himself this time. Highly recommend the villa. Thank for having us & helping with queries

Zoalla beloofd

Verblijf was prima Goed schoon. Doordat de buurhuizen niet bezet waren, hadden wij optimale privacy bij het zwembad. Het was heel rustig, zelfs de blaffende honden s nachts ontbraken. De pannen waren wat onder de maat en een koekenpan was reeds lang overleden.

Sehr sauber, alles bestens gepflegt. In der Region lässt sich sehr gut mit dem Rad fahren. Wir haben tägliche Ausfahrten auf verkehrsarmen Wegen von 60 - 70 km unternommen. Die spanischen Autofahrer sind Radfahrern gegenüber sehr rücksichtsvoll!

Wonderful Stay

We have just spent a glorious two weeks here. The house met all of our expectations and the pool and aircon was a Godsend. The house's location is perfect, overlooking the 2nd hole of the golf course and it was great to watch the players coming through in the morning and evening, although how some of them played in the heat was beyond me. John was a great host, who responded to any queries immediately, both before and during our stay. The Mar Menor Golf Resort is maintained beautifully and I would not hesitate to book again in the future. My only small criticism and it is small, as it appears to be a universal problem, is that the barbecue grill was not cleaned before our arrival.

We are a family of four who have been enjoying holidays here for the last few years. We always find that there is something for all ages.We enjoy holidaying here all year round.Its great to relax in the garden which is lovely & quiet with the best view over the golf course and always in the sun. It is great to watch the sun setting over the golf course.
The 5 star hotel is only a short walk away where it is good to have a drink at one of the bars or eat in one of the luxurious restaurants.It is always a treat to be pampered in the ESPA spa. We enjoy cycling around the resort especially during the winter months when it can be too cold or icy for cycling at home.
The driving range is very handy for practicing on a regular basis.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We chose the area because it is peaceful & relaxing but also plenty of restuarants, a shopping centre within a 15 minute drive away to suit the teenagers. It is very easy to get to with Murcia airport only 15 minutes away or Alicante 50 minutes away.
The Mar Menor is great for swimming and safe. The warm water is such a treat from May through to October. The resort pool and hotel pool are nice to go to go for socialising and it's good to be able to get a drink there or have lunch there for a change.
The unspoilt beaches are beautiful for walking in the winter and lively but not overcrowded in the summer.
We enjoy a different kind of holiday each time we go and do different things depending on the season. During the summer it's swimming and BBQs, in the winter it's walking and cycling.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

As we do not walk anywhere when we are at home with our busy, stressful lives it is a treat to be able to stroll out to the small supermarket which is only a short walk away. We live in a built up area so we really appreciate the open spaces and to be able to sit out and look at the views over the golf course.All ammenities are within walking distance of o ur villa which is one reason why we chose it. The sports facitlities are very good if you wish to be very active whist on holiday!
