The gardens are always colourful at this time of year and in 40 degree temperatures the pool is very inviting especially thanks to Katie´s regular maintenance. Glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa de la Era. Yep, we think the setting is pretty amazing too, that is what drew us to the property. The mountain views visible from wherever you are in the gardens (kept lush and green by our weekly acequia watering, offers of help always appreciated!) whether relaxing in sun or shade and the ease of access to the pretty mountain ´white´villages, the Mediterranean beaches, the stunning architecture and city life in Granada, all difficult to capture as you say, by photos alone! We enjoyed meeting you all and hope to see you again some day.

Hola A! We are glad that you both enjoyed your stay and that the casita met all your needs and expectations for a relaxing holiday. It's perfect geographical situation (plus absence of scary tracks!) is one of the reasons that originally attracted us to the property and since then we have worked hard at trying to provide what we ourselves would desire from a holiday home. Wow! Don't think we have ever received such a low rating before, but we are glad you and your family enjoyed our wonderful gardens and newly refurbished pool and surrounding area and appreciated the in-depth cleaning in line with current Covid practice. We are sorry that you found the electric fans provided, to be insufficient at night time. Previous guests in previous years have normally found them to suffice, but we are currently experiencing exceptionally high temperatures throughout Southern Spain, (50* recorded in Granada yesterday). We also regret that the standard size, floor standing fridge did not meet your requirements. We do not claim to have air conditioning or a dishwasher on the website and respectfully suggest that if these are your priorities then in future you check advertised property specifications more closely. Thank you for your comments, they provide food for thought, as we continue to endeavour to offer our guests an enjoyable, memorable holiday environment!
