Luxury Villa At Desert Springs Golf Resort

Villa Mirasol is situated adjacent to the 5th green of the Desert Springs Golf course, with superb views over the course. It is just a short drive from the picturesque harbour of Villaricos, and the ancient Moorish village of Mojacar on the coast of Almeria. Mountains on three sides surround it, there is plenty to explore. This is still a relatively undiscovered coastal area so the miles of nearby beaches never have more than a scattering of bodies. Other attractions include the beautiful villages of Mojacar, Vera and Cuevas del Almanzora, with their narrow cobbled streets and Arabic architecture. The Cabo de Gata National Park is another place worth visiting. Other golf courses in the area include Valle del Este, Marina Golf Mojacar, and Aguilon. The Crocodile Club has a large swimming pool, tennis, volleyball, go karting and a gym.

Had the most relaxing week at villa Mirasol. The villa is very comfortable, well equipped and the 75 inch tv was a god send for our son watching the world cup! The surroundings were very peaceful and the view across the 5th green was amazing especially at sunset. A couple of bars/restaurants on site, but car needed for anything else. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Mirasol, everything you need and more is provided in the villa and we all loved the pool! A beautiful place to watch the sunset in the evenings. Brent provided all info ahead of our visit and was available to contact for anything we needed whilst there. Thank you so much and hope to visit again!

Lovely villa

Well equipped, well maintained villa with nice touches such as spanish cookbook. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable, decent showers and comfortable beds. Owners were helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The resort is very friendly and well looked after. Ideal for golfers or families. you do need a car but plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within 10-20 mins drive.

Beautiful villa

The villa is so spacious and the pool was amazing. We had all had a great time and there were plenty of amenities. Brent and Brenda are extremely responsive as well with any queries or questions. We would recommend this villa to others and to stay again. As a bit of minor feedback however, we would have liked for the boiler to have been put on before we arrived so the water could be hot. Extra towels and bedding would also have been useful however there is a washing machine that can be used. The outdoor garden furniture was not cleaned before we arrived and had lots of birds mess all over the tables and dinners which I had to clean off. The kettle should also be replaced as the top keeps coming off and is fiddly to use. Again, these are only minor points and we absolutely recommend this as a great place to stay.

We apologise for the boiler not being on and the outdoor furniture not being cleaned. We are using a new cleaning company this summer, and are finding that they only do, literally, what we ask them to do! We must add these tasks to our list. A new kettle is on our shopping list too. Thank you for your rental.

It is clear that the villa is a much loved family home. It was very well equipped and catered for all our needs as a family. It was clean on arrival and the check in process was very easy with clear email instructions to follow. The host was accessible and answered any queries quickly. We have enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others and will definitely return at some point.

El alojamiento es extraordinario y muy confortable. Tiene 2 inconvenientes a mejorar: 1) la limpieza es escasa en muchas zonas y esquinas de la casa. 2) estando dentro de la casa, tanto el de mantenimiento de la piscina (2 veces en semana) , como la limpiadora, que tuvo que venir porque solicitamos algo, entraron sin llamar y hasta dentro, el de mantenimiento hasta la piscina por una puerta lateral y la limpiadora con su propia llave. Esto no puede ser así porque invaden nuestra privacidad, deben llamar al timbre y darles permiso.

We will mention to the pool cleaning company that guests prefer their staff to knock at the door before entering the pool area. Our cleaner has been with us a long time and we have had no previous comments about the standard of cleanliness in the villa, but it has been noted. We are pleased that our guests enjoyed their holiday, and we were able to extend their stay as they requested.

Absolute Stunning Views

Villa is beautiful as well as surroundings and views.. What you see in the picture is exactly what you get absolutely breathtaking views overlooking the 5th hole of the golf course. For any golfers my partner and brother in law played twice on this course and they have said it was one of the best courses they’ve ever played. Villa itself is fully stocked with all amenities you could need. We were there as a family of 6 with 4 kids from as young as 3 months to 8 years old we had the best time ever and will definitely like to return to the villa. Thank you to Brent and Brenda for all their help too they are straight on it if you have any questions. All in all 10/10.

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic. The best villa we have stayed in. Everything was perfect and enabled us all to have a very enjoyable holiday. Brenda & Brett were attentive to our needs and were very quick to reply to our queries. The villa is in a perfect spot on the fifth green, the pool. BBC and the outside pizza oven added to our enjoyment. The sunsets are stunning and the surrounding areas are quiet and it is no hassle to drive and explore the beautiful beaches and nearby beauty spots. Thank you. Marcia Bown & crew.

Wonderful Holiday

The villa is wonderful with everything that you might need, location is ideal for sunsets, and watching the golfers as they go by. The wild life on the course is really interesting and the birds around are lovely. If you don't want to cook the clubhouse is very friendly and the food is excellent. Brenda and Brent are very helpful and very quick with any query that you might have. We hope to go again soon

The Pink Palace - A place to relax and enjoy

Arrived 2/7/17 Departed 16/7/17 Not visited Desert Springs for 3 years. We started visiting and have been regular visitors to The Pink Palace since 2004. Once again as always we found the golf course and villa to be a peaceful and relaxing place to be. Both in excellent condition. You are a short drive away from Morjacar, Vera and Gurrucha Not to mention the beach and Water Park. Our stay was chilled and appreciated by all of us. The Powell Family

A comfortable home from home

The villa was well appointed, we lacked nothing and were very comfortable. The aspect overlooking the 5th hole was pleasant and the passing golfers were friendly! The clubhouse and other facilities were easily walkable and we felt private but not cut off and remote from civilisation. The pool was lovely and our grandson was raring to be in the water before breakfast! A really relaxing stay and we would definitely return.

Highly recommended

Stayed 2weeks at Desert springs and the villa was Was just perfect . For the golfers it's ideal Overlooking the golf course with wonderful scenery . The villa with the views and pool so lovely for Relaxing and chilling especially in the evenings with It's own outside BBQ . Clean, spacious and well situated to pop To the clubhouse . Cannot wait to return in June 2015.

4 adult mountain bikes, plus two for teenagers, helmets, tyre pump
Golf clubs for both male & female, with trolley’s and practice balls
Paella cooking ring, stand and pans
For the beach: Portable BBQ, chairs, umbrella, children’s sun tent, fishing rods.
