Beach House in a fantastic location With Stunning Views.

The property has been completely modernised to provide a spacious comfortable living space.
Walk out of the patio or back door and a few steps will take you on to the safe sandy beaches of the Nature Reserve.
There is a large west facing private roof terrace with far reaching views over the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve.
Olhao,Faro, Cultura island and San Miguel mountain can all be seen in the distance.
The large private roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing, dining out and watching the wonderful Algarve sunset, also fantastic for star gazing.
There is a south facing patio area outside the back door with a chimney style bbq, dining table with seating and a gate to the beach with a cold water shower.
There is a further seating area under the covered front balcony which lead to the stairs to the roof terrace.
All of the outside area's have lighting for sitting out in the lovely warm evenings.
There are 3 bedrooms and a wc located of off the main hallway.
A connecting privacy door takes you in to the large main living area.
Comfortable seating in the lounge has views through the triple opening patio doors over the beach and Ria Formosa.Free wifi is available throughout the house.
A large modern bathroom with wc,bidet and walk in rain shower is accessed from this room.
A fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area were installed in 2024, The side door leads out to the south facing patio and bbq area.
The property has free wifi and multi channel tv .
We are 5 minutes from the ferry, shops and restaurants.

When you rent our property you agree to the following terms and conditions.
OCCUPANCY
The house is for a maximum of 6 persons including children. We can supply a free travel cot for babies. We cannot allow extra persons to stay and they will be asked to leave or we reserve the right to terminate your holiday without refund.
LINEN AND TOWELS
The property is self catering, we supply fresh bed linen and towels but not beach towels.

SMOKING.
We have a very strict no smoking policy in the property. Please respect this as we do not want to have to charge you for a deep clean to remove the odour, smoking is permitted in the outside area's.
CLEANING.
The house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival, we do expect you to leave it clean to avoid any additional cleaning charges.

CCTV.
The property has cctv on all external entrance and exits for added security.

Absolutely stunning location right on the beach with a gorgeous view. Modern clean and beautifully decorated. We had the best week celebrating my daughter's first birthday and festilia visiting family on the island. My daughter loved exploring the house and beach, taking us to the beach from the living room every opportunity she had and even took her her first steps.We will definitely be returning, and staying here again.

Apesar da boa localização, o imóvel apresenta algumas falhas, nomeadamente não possuí pratos, tem poucos talheres, forno não funciona, a loiça, tachos, frigideiras guardadas encontravam-se sujas, quartos muito escuros com cheiro a mofo. Não tem ar condicionado (ventoinhas de tecto são insuficientes e fazem muito ruído).Cadeiras para praia anunciadas, encontram-se danificadas, espreguiçadeira de pano (existente na cobertura - terraço) encontra-se rasgada.Local possuí câmaras de vigilância ilegais pelas quais os proprietários observam os clientes infringindo a privacidade dos mesmos. Situação bastante desagradável que nos levou à apresentar queixa nas autoridades. Apesar da beleza natural da ilha e do conformo da localização da casa, não aconselhamos a estadia na mesma.

This was an amazing choice! Couldn't be better located for a quiet week with a 4year old. Amazing venue. Only thing is the bed (couple bed) was not good at all... And it would be good to have small lamps by the beds in the other rooms. Other than that it was amazing! Very good kitchen and terrace and most of all, getting out of the house directly to the beach. thank you.

Armona a Peace of Heaven

Das Haus hat eine sehr schöne gute Lage. Die Einrichtung ist schön, eine sehr schöne neue Küche gibt es auch. Bei kleinen Problemen (keine Weingläser) wird schnell und problemlos geholfen, danke Lena. Unser 10 tägiger Urlaub war wunderschön und wir würden gerne wieder nach Armona kommen. Ein Sonnenschirm oder etwas Schatten wäre auf der Dachterrasse oder für die Stühle am Strand perfekt. Carlos Bar und das Lanacosta sind einen Besuch wert. Vielen lieben Dank Trish für die schönen Tage in Eurem Haus. Grüße Claudia und Torben

Tolle Lage

Hat alles (Buchung, check in, usw) super geklappt. Die Lage ist top und das Haus hat eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse, was eher selten ist. Die Inneneinrichtung ist jedoch in die Jahre gekommen und die Betten sind etwas klein. Alle Geräte die man braucht sind vorhanden. Allerdings haben wir keine TV-Sender gefunden, lediglich Youtube. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

A few niggles

This was our tenth visit to Armona and we love the island. We were disappointed with the welcome we received from the person appointed to show us to the house. Our polite enquiries regarding the gas stove and the working of the television were met with incredulity that we could not instantly master their workings. The house needed some work eg the kitchen tap was unstable, only three out of the four gas rings were usable and the roof terrace lights did not work so we could not use it at night.

Sympathische Insel....Buchung in € inseriert, in £ abgerechnet (30€ Gebühren)

Leider war man nicht ganz auf uns vorbereitet. Anstatt uns in das Objekt einzuführen wurde aufgeschlossen und fertig. In der Küche klebte alles, kein Spüllappen vorhanden, auch die Dusche war nicht einladend. Ausserdem war der Sitzplatz am benutzten und verschmutzten Grill ziemlich zugewachsen. Der Boden im Haus war allerdings war sehr sauber. Auf der Dachterasse ist es interessant, leider hat es keinen Sonnenschirm/Schatten, es ist also brutzelheiss, schade, wir wären gerne länger dort geblieben und hätten die Sonnenliegen benutzt... Es wird von Waschmaschine und Trockner geschrieben, es gibt aber nur die Waschmaschine ohne Anleitung, da neu, und ohne Waschmittel. In dem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett gibt es überhaupt keinen Kleiderschrank, nur ein paar Aufhänger an der Wand. Die Betten waren mittelmässig, in dem einen Singlebett merkte man die Unterlage. Alles in allem aber haben wir uns selbst geholfen, Verschiedenes einfach gekauft oder saubergemacht und konnten so die Tage im Oktober auf der um die Zeit sehr ruhigen Insel geniessen. Der Strand zum Atlantik raus ist 3km entfernt, fast direkt vor dem Haus kann man aber die Boote beobachten und auch im "Fährwasser" baden.

My second happy stay 😊

With 3 disabled oldies, we needed a property close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house has it all as well as 2 bathrooms and 2 very user friendly showers. It’s a short walk to the sea which is perfect for all. As avid bird watchers, we were thrilled to see loads from the house and the upstairs balcony.

Wonderful Week

The location is great - a few steps from Armona-Ria beach, in a quiet place and not far from cafes and mini markets. Fantastic view from the terrace. The house is spacious, well decorated and the bathrooms are very good. It has everything needed for cooking. The cleanliness of the exterior and terrace needs to be improved and one of the mattresses in the first double bedroom needs to be changed as the springs can be felt.

Séjour très apprécié !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour sur cette île particulièrement reposante. La maison de Trisha est très agréable, notamment en raison des deux terrasses qui permettent de profiter d'une vue imprenable tout au long de la journée. Trisha a été très compréhensive et arrangeante lors de notre premier contact. La communication lors du séjour a été légèrement plus compliquée en raison d'un problème avec les clés, mais cela n'enlève en rien nos très bonnes appréciations de cette semaine à Armona !

Great location, inventory needs improvement

All what is written in other reviews is true. The location of the house is really great. Close to the Ria beach. Atmosphere on the island is fantastic. The house is cosy and fully equipped. What gave us mixed feelings was that the inventory left much to be desired in many places. We offered to indicate what was wrong, but there was not much interest in this. Most dangerous thing we had was a glued-on wing of a ceiling fan that came down. Fortunately, the fan was not running. I don't want to think what would have happened if the fan had been running at full speed. The washing machine was unusable and no alternative offered. Showering with occasional hot water. Outside bench looks fantastic on the photos, but unfortunately now so dirty that you don't dare sit on it. 2 outside chairs and 1 inside chair that you can sink through at any moment and unfortunately this was not all. We tried to be as little as possible bothered by the defects and so we still had a fantastic time at Armona. Thank you very much for staying at your house.

Nice stay at Ilha da Armona

The house is nice and spacious, 100m from the river beach and 15mins walk from the sea beach. Although we had a few issues with the utilities, they were always reaolved quickly by the host.

We found the Island in 2003 and fell under the Armona spell. we were lucky to find a property for sale and in the perfect location on the Island. not to far from the ferry and on the best beach on Armona. Every day living is very easy here with all amenities within easy walking distance.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Armona is such an amazing place. We have travelled to many other places and we have never found anywhere that is so unique. Many of our guest's come back year after year with some of them now purchasing there own properties.
Words really don't do the island justice and we are sure that you will have a fantastic holiday.
