Superb 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms (new fitted bathroom and new en-suite), 2nd and top floor apartment with front and rear balconies. There is air conditioning throughout and WiFi. Situated in Tavira Old Town it is only a 10 minute walk to the riverside heart of Tavira. To add to all this there is a wonderful large roof terrace (30 metres squared) with sea and old town views. The apartment sleeps 4 people, fully fitted modern kitchen, large spacious 25 metre squared lounge with air conditioning and free wifi.

The host was welcoming. Sadly the photos in the ad did not match the apartment, in the ad there are two sofas in the lounge plus a rug. We got one underwhelming sofa, not as the photos, and no rug. The position is great, cleanliness was ok. WiFi and TV. Kitchen is very well kitted out and there was everything plus more you could need. We did not use the terrace, but it was also well kitted out with great views.

Great stay

We have just returned from a fanatastic week staying at Cara's appartment in Tavira. We were blessed with glorious winter sunshine and blue skies all week so were able to take advantage of the balconies and roof terrace which we used for BBQs several days. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of the town. It is spacious and very clean; just as described. The reverse air conditining kept us warm during the cooler evenings. Tavira is a traditional working town with some great bakeries, cafes and bars and we were able to explore other towns from Vila Real de Santo Antonio to Olhao on hire bikes. A wonderful week and a great rental.

Gem in Tavira

I spent 7 nights with my family at Cara's apartment and our stay was amazing. The apartment is modern, super clean and super equipped. The location is perfect - walkable to the town centre, bus and train station and supermarkets. Cara's place is absolutely perfect and she is super responsive and always available to help.

Wonderful

Our second time at this lovely apartment in a city centre neighbourhood of Tavira. The area is quiet, and there is a nice quirky restaurant in a garden a minute away, which is very convenient. The castle is about 5 minutes wall away. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained and the balconies and roof terrace are fabulous. The check-in process is easy and communication with the owner is friendly and efficient. If youā€™re looking for your own space in Tavira, then I wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Hidden gem in Tavira

An excellent rental property in a good neibourhood that lives up to its advertisement. Well stocked 2 bedroom apartment close to the train station and multiple supermarkets that are within 15 minutes walking. Features a BBQ on the rooftop terrace with loungers and outside dining table. The apartment is really a home away from home. The owner and the onsite contact were both very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We have already booked for next year's vacation.

Very nice apartment but some suggestions for improvement

This is a very nice apartment in a good, quiet location with ample street parking. The check in process was quick and easy and we enjoyed our time staying there. However, there were a number of small issues that should be addressed: The apartment was not well dusted when we got there. Stove and surrounding countertops were very greasy and under the beds was full of dust. This unit had two bedrooms and can accommodate 4 people but there is only comfortable seating for two people in the living room. Additional people would need to sit on straight backed dining chairs. There is plenty of space to add a couple of comfortable chairs. The en-suite bathroom has no bars or hooks to hang up towels. Because there are pocket doors you cannot even put a hook over the door. There were no extra bath towels available-only two in the entire apartment and those smelled musty. When our apartment was cleaned the towels that replaced the first set smelled just as musty as the first. We washed them before using them. Finally, this is not a criticism it is something that people should know - though there is an elevator in the building, you still need to walk up 9 stairs from street level to the elevator. Apparently in the summer, guests are allowed to park in the garage. From there, I believe you can use the elevator without walking stairs. But we were told at check in that we could not have access to garage parking.

Great Apartment!!

Truly positive experience from the initial booking with Cara to a fantastic stay at a lovely apartment. Despite arriving at almost midnight we were met by Paula who couldnā€™t have been nicer showing us round the very spacious apartment. The apartment itself had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, including a large roof terrace and is situated in a quiet area but only a 10 minute walk into the centre. Canā€™t thank Clara and Paula enough for letting us stay in their fantastic home. We have been to Tavira many times but this will definitely be our first choice when we return.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt In Tavira

Meine Tochter und ich verbrachten zehn Tage im September in dieser schƶnen traumhaften Wohnung. Sie ist schƶn hell, in einer ruhigen Lage, sauber und gepflegt. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen wunderschƶnen Blick auf Tavira. Wir wĆ¼rden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Cara .

Two weeks in Tavira

Really good sized apartment very light and spacious. Air conditioning in lounge and both bedrooms which was very welcome! Lovely lady Paula met us at the apartment and showed us around. Owner Cara also available for any queries. Great communication with them both. Two bedrooms but also two bathrooms which was a plus. The apartment was spotless and looked freshly decorated. Roof terrace accessible via internal stairs, but the space isnā€™t shared and has a dining table, 4 chairs, sun beds with cushions and a sturdy umbrella to give you some shade. Itā€™s in a residential area but nice downhill walk into town, just a little more challenging when walking home! We hired a car which enabled us to get to Barril Beach, otherwise you can walk down into the town and get the ferry to Praia de Tavira. Highly recommend.

Gute Lage, kurze Entfernungen zur Altstadt und zur FƤhranlegestelle. Alles zu FuƟ erreichbar. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick Ć¼ber die Gegend. Ausreichend Platz fĆ¼r vier Personen. In einem Schlafzimmer wenig Ablagemƶglichkeit fĆ¼r Kleider. Wichtige KĆ¼chenutensilien z. T. abgenutzt.

Perfect in every way

This is a wonderful property in a great location. The neighbourhood is quiet, but the apartment is close to the main roads, the rail station and the historic centre of Tavira. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we were met on arrival by a lovely lady who showed us around, explained how everything worked and gave us some tips for exploring the area. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped and very well maintained. Itā€™s perfect in every way!

Spacious quiet bright apartment, very conveniently located Yo train, River, grocery stores

This two bedroom ( one with ensuite) and another separate bathroom, very large living room, and well furnished kitchen was great! Has three heat pumps ( living room and one in each bedroom) made it nice and warm in January and February with temperatures 14-16 Celsius. Building has an elevator. There are about 7 steps to climb before reaching the elevator. Roof top terrace and two balconies are lovey. Washer and dishwasher in suite. Highly recommend.

Very Comfortable Modern Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent - 10 minutes to center of Tavira, 10 minutes to 2 grocery stores (ALDI, LIDL). The apartment is spacious, kitchen well supplied, recently renovated bathrooms, nice big closet in 1 of the bedrooms. Modern also means insulated so easy to get and keep the apartment comfortably warm (and probably cooled). Nice rooftop space (not directly accessed from apartment). Balconies and large sliding doors on both sides of the apartment so plenty of light. We would for sure stay here again. Bonus we could use our old iPod here!

Immer eine Reise wert ā€¦.

Wir kannten die Wohnung bereits und haben uns erneut sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Das Wetter war groƟartig und die spƤten Abende auf der Dachterrasse bei einem guten Glas Wein ein Genuss. Leider sind einige Baustellen in der nƤheren Umgebung. Wer ohnehin frĆ¼h aufsteht und den Tag Ć¼ber unterwegs ist, den stƶrt das aber wenig! Wir kommen wieder!

Apartamento bem localizado, a 5 min a pƩ do centro de Tavira (mercado antigo/Ferry). Dois quartos modernos, um deles suite ambos com AC. TerraƧo privado com amplas vistas sobre Cabanas, bom para um churrasco no sunset. Limpeza dentro do esperado, simpatia no atendimento online e pessoal na chegada ao apartamento. Recomendo!
