Whether you are in the area for a meeting downtown or to visit one of Orlando's many tourist attractions, you will find it very easy to access it all from Hayden House! Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Great communication.Property as shown in the pictures.Everything you could think of was there. Kitchen well stocked with utensils,cutlery,plates,glasses,pots,pans etc.Extra linens. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect respite, great location

This property is the perfect respite and centrally located with easy access to major travel routes. It is so peaceful I thought they were piping in the glorious bird sounds in the morning!!! Terrific neighborhood to walk/run and many convenient shops and restaurants. Don't hesitate to book!

Wonderful Location

Such a safe neighborhood! The location was amazing and the place was absolutely lovely! Would stay there again. They were great at accommodating the fact that I needed to stay for an extra week after already staying for a month.

Relaxing Mid-Century Bungalow

Absolutely loved our stay in this very comfortable bungalow nestled next door to the Lake Adair mansion neighborhood. My husband loved his morning walks through this stunning area. The home is located very close to everything we wanted to do in Orlando and Winter Park ( except amusement parks which we don’t do). Lovingly decorated, well equipped kitchen, on-site laundry, lovely screened back porch all made for a very comfortable stay. Definitely would book again.

Mid-century modem stunner!

We had the distinct pleasure of staying at Hayden House for our first snowbird holiday. This lovely home is beautifully decorated and equipped and situated in the gorgeous and affluent Lake Adair neighbourhood. We travelled with our JRT so a fenced yard was a must and Hayden House meant we could enjoy the sun in the backyard with our little dog off-leash but we also explored the lovely neighbourhood during our numerous daily walks with Woody. The location is perfect with many fabulous restaurants nearby and the local Publix is a short drive or 15min power walk. John is a great host and will make you feel very welcome. Thanks again John! Hayden House felt like home.

We needed a place to live for a few months during a home renovation, and Hayden house was perfect for us. The house is modern, stylish and cozy. They have everything we needed to cook, clean up after ourselves or just chill in front of one of the 3 TVs. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are newly remodeled. The kitchen upgrades even inspired our own kitchen renovation plans. The neighborhood is so gorgeous! Walking or riding our bikes among the old oak trees, the beautiful historic houses and around Lake Adair is so peaceful. The hosts are extremely hospitable and communicative. They responded right away when we had a question, and they reached out with community updates when necessary. We were at HH for two hurricanes; they made sure we were ok and the house was in great shape for us. We’re very grateful for our time at Hayden House. Thank you, guys!

Great rental

This updated, nicely decorated rental had all the comforts of home. Easy access to many attractions in a beautiful neighborhood with numerous lakes and parks nearby. Very enjoyable stay and the host was always available.

College Park visit

This party is so well decorated. Modernized mid century modern in lively College Park. Owners were exemplary and very accessible. I was there for husband’s hospital stay and so close to the hospital. Love the lighted cabinet drawers, a must for me in my next kitchen remodel. Stay here again in a heartbeat ❤️

Nice quaint hideaway

We loved the decor of the interior of the house, especially the paint selections. The property was furnished with all the live in amenities you would expect in your own home. Great location between Orlando, Winter park & College park. Great farmers market on Saturdays too. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the multiple holes in the screen porch & the privacy fence surrounding the property.

An Excellent College Park Choice

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, nicely furnished property. The owner was extremely responsive. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a few blocks from lovely Lake Adair. At night, the sound of the HVAC system was very noticeable so we usually just turned it off before going to sleep. Otherwise it was 5 stars.

Relaxing

Everything we needed was right at home. Enjoyed afternoon walks around beautiful lakes and neighborhood. As well as fishing, beach and local attractions. Lovely home for long term stays. 🤗

Super nice place!

We loved the house. We rented for a month while until our new home here was ready. We felt like we were staying in a mini- Brady Bunch house with a modern twist. The house was done very well and you have everything you need for a long term rental. You have a short drive to Starbucks and some nice resturants and easy access to just about everything. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay and feel like home.

Perfect Little Florida Getaway

My best friend and I stayed at this property in late August and absolutely loved it! The house was very well done. We could join the common spaces, it had many, but we got our own very comfortable rooms. The beds were super comfy too. Overall I'm very happy we got to stay at this fun, colorful home. Wonderful home, beautiful neighborhood!

We had a wonderful stay in your home! It was comfortable and spotless. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t available! We really appreciated the fact that our family could bring their dog when they came out for an evening visit and dinner with us. The traffic on I-4 between the parks and the house was horrible, but your house was in a very convient location! We hope to stay with you again in the future!

Loved it! Great value for a super Mid Century modern feel! Just the right size for our family.

Hayden House was perfect for our family. Close to the Amusement Parks and our Florida family in Minneola. We loved the retro foodie area of restaurants on Edgewater Drive! Would definitely check that out! Loved that I found a Jazzercise to attend only a mile down the road! Can’t brag enough about the feel of the decor inside the house. My husband is a huge ping pong player & seeing him teach two ten year olds to play was priceless. We even had a night to order in Anthony’s pizza and play UNO. Relaxing from all the amusement park days! Definitely would come back again.

Loved the remodel and appreciated the whole midcentury flavor of the house. Lovely neighborhood.

Close to the highway/city to get to vacation activities easily, but still felt like home, being in a "secluded" neighborhood. We took morning walks around the lake and explored the nearby town and restaurants. Totally appreciated the midcentury styling, that's what we picked it for! Everything was clean and pristine and having the ability to cook and do laundry was great. Made use of the patios both screened in and outside. (Our only thought would be if there were bigger windows between the inside and the patios) , but that's not at all a reflection on the service/hospitality of renting your home. In that respect it's 5 stars! Your home made our vacation feel like our home! Thank you, and we would recommend your rental to any midcentury loving vacationers out there.

Our Go-To VRBO Rental in Orlando

This was our second time staying at this lovely house in Orlando. The kitchen has been remodeled so the house is even better than the first time we stayed. The house is small and cosy, perfect for the two of us and our dog. We like the location because we prefer being in central Orlando, away from the big theme parks. They are easy to get to if you want to go, but we prefer to be near the downtown restaurants, museums and parks. The neighborhood is great for walks; nearby Lake Adair is full of birds. We enjoyed seeing nesting great blue herons and cormorants, diving pelicans, wood ducks, turtles, etc. in our walks around the lake.

Had a very pleasant stay. House was set up very well for 2 - 4 people. The kitchen was great. We liked the fact that not only was the house and yard pet-friendly, but the neighborhood was good for walks as well.

Clean, quiet, well decorated and convenient

We enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to downtown Orlando and numerous restaurants. We loved walking through the neighborhood and enjoyed the wildlife along the nearby lakes.

Fantastic!

The house was perfect for our family of 4! The screened porch and fenced yard allowed our kids to play outside safely, the house was very clean, and in a perfect location! We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy and Classy

This home was more than I expected! In a quiet, quaint neighborhood and VERY cozy and clean! Everything that I needed and more. My interaction with the owner was superb! He answered all of my questions in a very timely manner and helped with a extension with NO problems!! If you are ever in town, you need too take a look at this property!!! I will definitely be going back.

So great !

Great rental. We liked the house, very well decorated, clean, very quiet and full of small attentions. We had a very good stay and had fun with the ping pong table. It's near Universal. I recommand strongly this rent !

Cozy!!

Thought the house was in a great area. It was located close to Universal, that was the main reason for our visit. Downtown was close & restaurants were fairly easy to get to despite the construction. We liked the house, thought it was very cozy & had fun with the ping pong table! Would definately book again! Thanks guys!

In 2014 we rented this home for a winter vacation and loved it so much we jumped on the chance to buy it when it came on the market in 2015.

Hi! We are Barney and Sam, two Boston Terriers from Nashville. Our Dads bought this house as a second home for us to escape the cold winters in Nashville. Well, it's not really cold for most people, but, Boston Terriers are a little sensitive to weather and we do love to lay in the sun on the back patio and/or porch -- so we're a little spoiled. And you will be too after your stay at Hayden House. We just love it!

One of our Dads (they are both named John) grew up in Orlando and went to high school just down the road from this house. He has always loved this neighborhood and so will you. We take walks daily and there's always a great new street or pocket park to explore. There are lakes everywhere and the whole area is charming. Many of the streets are paved with bricks and the live oak trees in the yards are amazing.

College Park is a distinct neighborhood in the city of Orlando. It gets its name from the many streets in the community named after places of higher learning like Princeton, Harvard, and Yale. Its close proximity to downtown has made it a popular residential area for over a century.

In recent years, Edgewater Drive, the main drive in College Park, was converted to a two-lane road with wide bike lanes which makes it even easier to get around to all the shops and restaurants.
