Luxury Apartments-with sea view terrace, in the center and close to the beach.

These recently constructed, two bedroom apartments enjoy a superb location. It is only 125 meters from the peaceful little beaches of Carabeillo and Carabeo, whilst the famous, and more lively, Burriana beach is just along the coast, about 100 meters further.
There are spectacular sea views from both the apartment and its spacious terrace. Visitors particularly value the 'morning-till-night' sunshine, which culminates in wonderful sunsets, whilst the air is heavy with the smell of the sea and the scent of blossom.
You don't need a car if you don't plan to make excursions!
Many tapas bars and typical restaurants are just around the corner and within maximum 10 walking minutes you will have met at least 30 dine-and wine possibilities.
Nerja offers also a very rich cultural life, mainly at the cultural center ' Villa de Nerja'.
If you are here for overwintering maybe the 'International Club' might help to make easy contact and day trips.

Further: You are never alone here!!
The landlady Nuttee and her husband Frans are multi-lingual and are always around.
If you need them they are there for any help you might need 24/7.


A washing machine, dishwasher and microwave are included in the well equipped kitchen, but should you find that there is something which would make your life there more comfortable, then the owners will happily supply it.

Both the living room and the kitchen have direct access onto the terrace, so outdoor dining couldn't be easier, whilst a relaxing drink watching the sun go down is irresistible !

In the bathroom there is a very spacious and comfortable shower.(See the photos)

The Costa del Sol is, of course, noted for the reliability of its sunshine, but just in case, you can also take a sun bath on the shared roof terrace where you have a 360º view to the ocean, the mountains, the village, the Balcon de Europa and till Maro.

The apartments are perfectly located to enjoy the facilities of Nerja, with the famous Balcon de Europa, a pleasant 400 meter stroll away, and dozens of restaurants, and shops just around the corner. Consequently, you don’t need a car to enjoy Nerja to the fullest. Parking is, however, available right next to the apartment if you want a car to explore the surrounding area. Nerja is a perfect location for excursions to the historic cities of Granada, Seville and Malaga, whilst the 'white villages' of Frigiliana and Maro, and the stunning Caves of Nerja, are all within 15 minutes drive.

For those who like a more active holiday, the beautiful mountains of the Sierra de Almijara and Sierra de Tejeda provide more than just a wonderful setting for the town. Here you can enjoy superb walks in spectacular gorges, along shady aqueducts, and on a network of trails, some many centuries old.

Wonderful

Lovely apartment in a great location. A stone's throw from great restaurants and a beautiful beach. Had everything we needed, from beach umbrellas to everything we needed in the kitchen. The host was really friendly, taking the time to suggest her favourite restaurants. Would highly recommend. I'm sure we'll be coming back.

Wonderful apartment!

The apartment more than lived up to the description. Frans and Nuttee made us so welcome. They made sure we wanted for nothing. Everything was provided in the apartment - even the shopping trolley. We were in an ideal place to walk to all of Nerja's attractions. There are so many restaurants nearby that you could stay for over a month and never visit the same one twice.

Carabeo Nerja

Nerja is for me a place like 'coming home'. Everything you need, is present. No need of cooking. A lot of restaurants are there. But if you want, the bakery, the supermarket, the typical spanish foodstores are just on the corner. Everything within walking distance. No car needed. Besides that the owner and his wife are friendly, helpful and enjoyable. Nerja has beaches, tourist area's (Balcon d'Europe, caves), restaurants, shops, promenade, small passages ... In a word Nerja is a place 'to be'. A paradise!

Brilliant Nerja holiday!

This was our first visit to Nerja, which was recommended to us by many friends and family as one of the most attractive and unspoiled yet lively resorts in Spain. Our apartment was lovely - immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable with very good amenities and a fresh and new feel about the whole place. The roof top swimming pool was ideal and we had the most amazing views of mountains and sea. It was perfect, just what we were looking for. The whole holiday from booking up to going home was made very pleasant and easy by apartment owners Frans and Nuttee, who were the most friendly and helpful people we've met and were always available if we needed anything. Nerja is a brilliant place, full of character, typically Spanish with great beaches and restaurants, and the warm welcome and beautiful apartment made our holiday all the more pleasant. No complaints at all, recommended to everyone.

Excellent Apartment!

A very conveniently located apartment with a view of the sea. It's a short walk to the beach, and a short walk down to the tourist area and Balcon de Europa. But, it's set far enough away from the main tourist area to be peaceful and to feel more like an authentic experience. My children are learning Spanish in school, so we wanted to be surrrounded by Spanish speakers, rather than English speakers, and this location was excellent for that. It is a short walk to the local stores. The town parking lot is right next to the apartments, so you can park your car and just walk everywhere. We saved a lot of money by cooking our own meals and had really excellent food. The main supermarket in town has an excellent variety of fresh meats and fish. Also, near the apartment is a French bakery which I highly recommend for the croissants. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and we especially liked that it had a washer so we could have clean clothes easily. We also really liked the patio where we ate dinner every night. Frans and Nuttee were quite helpful with getting settled in and made sure that we knew we could call with problems or questions, which was quite nice to know. The only thing I could ask for was more Spanish channels on the TV for the Spanish speakers in our family. But, if you speak English you will appreciate the UK Channels.

Very nice appartment and perfect location close to everything in Nerja!

Frans and Nutte were very nice and helpful. We had two weeks there, and she came and cleaned and change the linen after the first week, we really appreciate. The apartment it`s very good equipped with everything you need. The apartment is nearby for everything. For car parking, there is a parking place right outside.

Very pleasant apartment.

The apartment has everything you could wish for, the block is very clean and relaxed, and the owners are wonderfully helpful. The rooftop pool is not big but the views to the sea and mountains are amazing. Location is perfect for beaches and for restaurants.

Clean, spacious, well stocked and very secure.

Frans and Nuttee were welcoming, organised and helpful. The location is good for walking to the town centre, supermarkets, restaurants and all the beaches. The seating areas could do with some replenishing. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful. The roof terrace is not welcoming. The second, smaller balcony gets plenty of sun but overlooks the big car park but the main balcony has a better view. Nerja town council should get the many dog owners to scoop their poop. It's unpleasant but the town is lovely and worth seeing.

Spacious, well-equipped and centrally-located appartment with excellent amenities

This spacious 2-bed, 2-terrace appartment lies on the second floor of a modern and beautifully maintained modern building with lift and roof terrace. The sparklingly clean entrance courtyard is bedecked with fragrant jasmine and geranium-red loveliness. Fans of having Wifi and watching UK soaps on holiday will be very happy here as will mums with young children thanks to the kitchen being equipped with w/machine, d/washer and pretty much anything and everything you could possibly need. Frans and Nuttee - the absolutely charming hosts - have thought of everything. With supermarkets, cafeterias and restaurants all within 2 minutes of walking out of the front door and with beaches and the Balcon de Europa (where most of the 'action' is) a mere 5-10 minute walk away, there really is no need to look any further than Carabeo 2000 when looking for your next holiday appartment. I actually only got back yesterday and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful place to relax!

We stayed at this wonderful rental for two weeks in April. The hosts met us at the bus station upon our arrival and took us to the property. They were very welcoming and gave us recommendations and a map. They even provided us with a high chair for our baby. The property was clean, bright and sunny. It is perfect for a family. The hosts were available to answer questions over email. From this rental we could easily walk to the Balcony of Europe and several beaches.

This was a great spot to settle for a few days....easy to walk around town and central location for day trips with a car. Apartment was well furnished; Frans and Nuttee were terrific, making sure we knew the best spots to visit.

Fantastic holiday and even more fantastic hosts

We're just back from staying in Carabeo 1.3 for 4 weeks and had a fantastic holiday. Frans & Nuttee are hosts extraordinaire. The service, help & guidance provided by them prior to departure and during our stay was unbelievable and efficient. Travelling with two children (7 and 2) we had plenty of questions for them. Just so we're not repeating what other reviewers have said, we would wholeheartedly agree with each and every comment. We've also made two very good friends in Frans & Nuttee. And Nuttee is absolutely nutty and we love her for it!! As it relates to location it is quiet, very safe for children, not too far from the beach, plenty to do within walking distance - ticks all the boxes for most parents. The apartment was ideally located. As an example, it was 3 mins (5 mins with kids, but most of that is climbing down to the sand) from the beautifully secluded Carabeo Playa and 5 mins (7mins with kids) from Carabeillo Playa which extends to Burriana Beach (the busier beach). Carabeo is highly recommended for the kids and we were there everyday. This also leads to the Calle Carabeo (most beautiful street in Nerja) and then down to the Balcon and restaurants. All within 5-8 mins walk. In terms of the apartment, the primary reason we were able to stay for four weeks was because of the reasonably quick internet WIFI they have. This allowed me to work whenever I needed to - unfortunately I did a lot of it. They also have a tv with many channels (including a wide range of childrens channels), not that there isn't plenty to entertain kids with outside the apartment. The apartment was spotless, very bright and extremely well maintained. It had all the necessities, eg. a more than full set of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, crockery and glasses. Two great sized bedrooms and a large living room. Two seperate balconies looking out to the sea. And the more you looked the more you'd find, eg. books on the area, maps, local guides, cleaning products, etc. The commitment to service by Frans & Nuttee was unrelenting and their understanding of what people and families require is exceptional. They are extremely compassionate folk who are looking to help whenever they can, but not to be too overbearing. We wouldn't have had as great a time if we hadn't met them. The only complaint - we wish we were still there! Nuttee & Frans, thank you for your wonderful hospitality - we'll see you soon! MariCarmen & Maria, we miss you a lot & we'll try and practise out Spanish!!

Great Location and very friendly owners

This was our first visit to Andalusia, which we’ve been dreaming about since our vacation in Catalonia in 1998. Definitely we were looking for a comfortable place to stay, and, at the same time, a proper point to get to the most interesting Andalusia’ monuments. Thus, we’ve chosen Nerja, which was close enough (for a one-day trip) from Granada, Cordoba, Antequera, Ronda. Already when planning the trip, we were extremely lucky to find by the internet Frans and Nuttee, the hosts, which turned to be a godsend for us, and were very helpful and welcoming answering a hundred of our questions. Naturally, that influenced us making our decision to stay at Carabeo 2000. The apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for our family (2 adults+2 children+ grandma). At our disposal were a big living-room with a sea view terrace, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen; Wi-Fi Internet; a big parking lot nearby (important!). Everything was perfect, just what we were looking for. In every two days we drove for sightseeing, than relaxed on the beaches, eating paella, tasting jerez and malaga wines in the small hours on the terrace. Again, the whole holiday Frans and Nuttee were extremely helpful and always available if we needed anything. Thank you, Nuttee, for you care, and for you Russian! Thank you, Frans, for the tapas-tour, for Belgian beer tasting, for your sense of humor, and for the distinct culture!

Wonderful three weeks in Carabeo 2.3 Apartment

I booked three weeks from Frans and Nuttee back in February. It was my first time to Nerja so I was dependant on them as to the location of the apartment/accommodation etc. In advance they very kindly offered to buy some essentials and this was very much appreciated and meant not having to dash out to get water/vino!. The apartment was lovely - spotlessly clean and with a lovely airy feel. The fact that the two bedrooms open onto one of the two balconies meant you could have lots of air through the sliding doors at night. The kitchen was very well stocked - salt/pepper/tin foil - the types of things that you don't necessarily want to have to buy if you are only cooking a few nights in. My son was delighted with the TV and especially having Sky Sports and having the wi fi meant we could stay in touch with everyone on the laptop. Frans and Nuttee are lovely people - they genuinely want to ensure you have a really good holiday and any query which I had they responded almost immediately - even turning up at the door on one occasion. Having been in Nerja around 10 years there was nothing they didn't know about. Finally the aparments are very well located, being literally 5 minutes max from the beaches and around 7 minutes to the Balcon. I had booked to have a car for the three weeks but I handed it back after 5 days - absolutely no need for a car - everything is within max 10 minute walk Great holiday
