This beautifully proportioned holiday cottage/barn situated at Trenoweth Nr Falmouth Cornwall has just been lovingly restored and designed with your every need, and all the comforts of modern day living in mind. We have a huge double bedroom with a sofa bed for a small child if necessary.
Free Hi Speed Fibre internet - WiFi broadband internet access is all included.
Private off road courtyard parking along side your barn. We have a Village Pub in walking distance ( 1/2 mile) and its easy to visit the North or South Coasts from our location. Falmouth is the nearest Town and is a 3 mile drive along the dual carriageway.

Graduation visit

Very well equipped, clean, well organised and was generally the perfect place for us to stay for a couple of nights whilst my daughter graduated from university. Jan, the owner met us and was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a great stay and I recommend to others 100%.

Perfect for our needs

Janet was extremely.helpful from before booking when i contacted her, to meeting us when we arrived. The property had everything we needed for a short break with our son and our dog. We were visiting an open day at the Penryn University of Exeter campus and it was just a few minufes away. We also enjoyed visitng falmouth and the maritime museum.

Lovely warm and clean place

Perfect place for a short stay near Falmouth or Penryn, we would love to have stayed longer. Clean and comfortable. Easy to find thanks to the clear instructions provided. Good internet connection, well equipped kitchen and lots of space. Slept really well. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous Barn conversion

Jan communicated giving exact details about how to get to the property and a handy folder let you know of her expectations for your stay and if what the local area has to offer.The Barn is a spacious, comfortable place with all you need for your stay. There’s space to park your car right outside. Jan leaves you to your stay however is right on hand should you have an issue or query, which we didn’t during our stay.

Poor

The owner lives on site and we felt that her welcome was quite hostile. No sooner had we parked the car that she came out to tell us that we were in the wrong parking bay! My husband moved the car as she had asked and no sooner done that we found a small no parking sign where we had previously parked. The courtyard is spacious enough. There was no reason for this kind of behaviour.She was also very quick to inform us about the rules and regulations and we had not even unpacked the car by then! We also had to clean the crockery cupboard before using anything from there. The plates had been staked on a sticky shelf.Though the area was lovely, we will not be staying there again!! A far cry from the cottage in Truro where we stayed for a week.

Lovely Accomodation Great Location

Honey Buzzard Barn is a lovely, small but perfectly adequate 2 bedroom accommodation, perfectly suited us for our short stay visiting the nearby Penryn Uni Campus with our daughter. For our needs the location was great, a short distance from Campus, Penryn & Falmouth and only 30 mins or so from Truro. We did eat at the nearby New Inn, lovely meal, but wouldn't have liked to walk it. Huge Asda 2 mins down the road. Jan was lovely and there to greet us on arrival and on hand throughout the stay if needed. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Very comfortable stay

Great location, very comfortable, everything you need is there. There are a few plumbing issues with the bathroom and the fridge freezes everything but generally we were very happy

Excellent accommodation!

Very well equipped & comfortable spot. Would benefit from faster internet access & a smart TV. Good access to surrounding area. Enjoyed our stay!

Could be a bit more homely

It was ideal size for our short stay and was relatively clean. The shower is not really up to job, very difficult for turning on and off and there was no effective control of temperature no matter which way you turned the dial, gave same result whether it was to extreme right or extreme left. A few more homely touches would have made it perfect, tissues in bedrooms, pint of milk in fridge......very sparse.

Peaceful retreat

The listing description was very accurate and the location just what we wanted, as it was down a quiet lane but only 10 Minutes from Falmouth. It was very clean and well maintained and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We went to the local pub for some of our meals which was only 5 minutes away and very good indeed. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone who likes the best of both worlds being near to all the beaches, shops and harbour, but also being in peaceful location.

There are some beautiful beaches and Falmouth boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The property is just two minutes drive from Falmouth beach.
