David and Ann's apartment is lovely and beautifully kept with all the amenities you could wish for. Location is a stones throw from super bars, restaurants and supermarkets. To have a pool was an additional treat and we did spend an afternoon relaxing and having a dip to keep cool. If you are planning to stay in Mojacar I would definitely recommend. But be warned Mojacar has lot's of steep streets, but we loved it. Thank you David and Ann x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and for the price bracket it did what we needed it to do. However, and it is noted on VRBO, the access from the car park to the apartment and the pool is a bit of a slog when it is hot but that said a little exercise does no-one any harm! Access to the restaurants in the pueblo takes a couple of minutes - uphill on the way out but downhill on the way back. A suggestion for the owner is to provide a bottle of water and maybe tea and coffee so on arrival the guests can have a drink after traveling without the need to instantly go shopping.

We have to agree with the property description regarding mobility access (my husband is 82) as the apartment and the Pueblo are both very challenging with steps and slopes. The carpark belonging to the complex which is down the many steps was nearly always full and mainly with cars that didn't belong to the residents, perhaps a Private sign could be erected. On the day we were leaving we did drive the car up the road outside the property to load our luggage rather than have to tackle the steps (so it is possible for your arrival, wish we had known this beforehand), but you need to know where to do a 5 point turn on the one way road below. However, when you access the apartment the views make it all seem worthwhile. Just to point out that you need to put your hand through the gate to turn the knob which is on the inside whilst turning the key on the outside. All the amenities that you may require are there, however, perhaps details of the coffee pods required in advance would have been useful. Both balconies accessed from both the lounge and the bedroom are lovely and give you sunshine morning and afternoon. One criticism was the bed was only a double and rather hard and sagged in the middle, also it creaked on movement. Communications from David and Ann before our trip were often and detailed. Would recommend the apartment but can not comment on the swimming pool as we didn't use it.

Fabulous holiday

Had a lovely holiday, apartment along with pool was lovely. Bit of a hike up the steps but kept us fit. Lots of lovely restaurants in the pueblo.

Gorgeous apartment in a beautiful pueblo!

We loved our stay in this wonderful apartment. Clean, beautiful balcony with a great view and a pool as well. It’s in a good central position in Mojacar too. Will definitely be back if possible!

Nice apartment, good location.

My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights and were very pleased with the standard of the apartment and it’s location in “in our opinion”, the best place in Mojacar!! It is worth mentioning that the location would not suit all, due to its steep hills and steps, but the overall area is full of quaint Spanish character.

Beautiful and peaceful

Very quiet in the pueblo this time of year. Mostly Spanish. The apartment was ideal. We'll equipped, clean and cosy. Balcony good size and lovely views. Perfect for a relaxing break.

A good base

A nice, clean apartment that has a great balcony to sit on even when it rains. Lovely views and great pool to cool off in. Didn't cause us a problem but be aware that there are a lot of steep steps up to the apartment from the car park. Ideal location to base yourself from. Thank you

Mojacar

Super apartment in a truly stunning hillside village. The apartment was well appointed with air conditioning and a large punkah fan in the bedroom. Only a stone's throw away from the vibrant village centre. We would recommend this to anyone. Whilst we had the pool largely to ourselves,we also thought the beaches were pretty good too. Recommend the award winning La Muralla Pizzeria at the top of the village.

We are beach lovers ourselves and can recommend the beach at the Playa Blanca the beds are very comfortable with extra deep mattresses for €10 you get 2 beds/parasol and this also includes a free drink each. We also recommend the La Muralla were you can watch the stunning sunset as you dine.

A Magical Mojácar EscapeWe spent an absolutely wonderful week at David and Anne's apartment in Mojácar. The location is brilliant, nestled right in the heart of the village, yet peaceful and scenic.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony and pool were definite highlights. Being just a few minutes walk (up a fairly steep hill) to the centre, it was perfectly placed for exploring all the charming streets filled with little shops and fantastic restaurants and bars with stunning views over the surrounding area.David was a superb host, providing helpful recommendations.All in all a fabulous experience. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you David and Anne for such a memorable stay!

10 days in the sun

Well equiped property has all you need for a break in the sun including loungers. Lovely views from the balcony and the pueblo is lovely. We had a lucky escape with falling rocks just missing the hire car on one occasion in the car park. The steps do begin to get you down when the temperature is very high. Overall a very nice apartment.

Perfect apartment great location

We had a lovely stay at David and Anne's apartment. It is in a great location within the village. We enjoyed many a leisurely breakfast out on the terrace and the views are amazing. It is literally a couple of minutes (uphill) walk to the centre. The village is lovely , especially at night, it feels really magical with All the little streets lined with great restaurants and bars. David was a great host before and during our stay, very accommodating and gave us tips on the best restaurants. The steps from the car park are very steep as are the streets leading up to the village, steeper than we had anticipated, but we managed them pretty well (both in our 60's) Good for working off the food and wine !! All in all we had a fabulous stay. Thankyou David and Anne. all the little shops , restaurants and bars

Hillside apartment with views

The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It has an air conditioning unit in the bedroom which was essential as extremely hot during our stay. As described the apartment is situated high up on the hillside with 98 steps up to the apartment from the car park or a steep winding hill so you really need to be fit to stay here! We had a problem with the wi-fi on the first day and the owner had the problem fixed by the following day. We really appreciated the effort he went to and he was easy to communicate with. There is also a friend of the owner who lives locally and once again she fixed a few minor problems (broken lightbulbs) straightaway, so very impressed with the help available. The pueblo is a lovely place to stay with many shops and restaurants and a great place to explore everything Almeria has to offer.

Bonito viaje por Almería

Todo muy bien. Excelente ubicación para entrar y salir de la población. Solamente, matizar que el aparcamiento no esta reservado para el apartamento en si. No obstante, la mayor parte de los dias pudimos aparcar en el lugar indicado o cercano al mismo. Gracias!
