Situated in a no through road with limited traffic, there is parking available in the local sports ground a few steps away (£2.50 a day). The house stands on 3 floors with ample accommodation for 12 people. There are 6 bedrooms, (4 doubles and 2 twins), 3 reception rooms, a good sized kitchen, and a games room.
From the first floor kitchen, there is a sun terrace with steps that lead down to the patio area and rear garden. This walled garden is secure, peaceful and secluded. Half is laid to patio with the rear section to grass with some wild nooks and cranny's including a magical corner summer house.
Bideford is affectionately known as 'The Little White Town' and has an interesting maze of narrow streets to explore with many fine Georgian and Victorian buildings. Some delightful shops and cafes are just a few minutes walk from the house, as well as Victoria Park situated along side the River Torridge and offers a museum and cafe, children's play area and paddling pool.
Cycle hire is available in Bideford and the Tarka trail is recommended stretching from Torrington through Bideford to Barnstaple.
