GRACIOUS, SPACIOUS HOME-Walkable to the Inns/Spa

Historic home for great entertaining- dining room seats 12. Large entertaining porch, sun room, patio in back/gas grill. 5 bedrooms/ 8 beds,2.5 baths. Off street parking, very short walk to the Inns-super convenient for weddings, directly across from EB Morgan House.
This house has a completely separate and private apartment unit in the back on the second floor with its own entrance, patio. Shares a parking space. Books separately, sleeps 4.
Early check-ins possible at all our properties.
The space
Private, spacious, clean, convenient, in the heart of the village, walk anywhere. Everything you need is in the house from soaps to hair dryers, coffee and coffe makers, WiFi and three TVs!
Sunny porch is roomy with seating for nine, fans if needed and sun shade to cut the glare with a lovely overlook of Main Street.
Guest access
You'll have a door code so no keys are needed! The entire house is yours to enjoy!
Other things to note
We're a 5 minute drive to MacKenzie-Childs shop, 3 minute walk to the Inns of Aurora, the Fargo, Morgan Opera House, Jane Morgan's Little House,2 miles from Wells College and Long Point Winery. Central to all Finger Lakes wineries and tourist attractions.
There is a parking lot outdoor camera on premises for security.

2024 Fam Reunion

Pros: Great location. Very kind host who met me at the property to show me around. Very clean, and furnished with everything needed to cook your own meals and enjoy family meals together. Well located for a short walk down the road to one of the establishments for a drink or meal. The park with beach access is a 15 minute drive. Very nice park with tables, grills and clean bathroom. Cons: there is an attached apartment with separate entrance and if someone is staying there, they own the outside patio area with the umbrellas and table. Although the apartment is noted in the posting, I overlooked that and was unaware the patio area belonged to that apartment. If a group were staying in the apartment and laid claim to that patio area, it would’ve been uncomfortable to share a very small space with another group. Although a friend of the host was staying there, we did not have to share the space, but it’s something to ask about when booking the property.

Perfect for our wedding weekend

We rented 3 of Jacci’s properties for our wedding weekend. We were able to fit our whole wedding party in the houses. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the town. The houses were clean and beautiful and Jacci was super helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Highly recommend!

10 family and friends stayed at this beautifully decorated home for two nights. We had plenty of sleep options, sat out on the front porch often, visited local wineries and ice cream shops and a cute farmers market, easy walks to check out the lake (or just peek across the street!). The house itself is super cozy and welcoming. And Jacci went above and beyond to make sure we were all set. She knows everything about that area, so we inquired for her advice about restaurants and wineries and shopping more than once :-) Highly recommend

Perfect location for a Girl's Weekend

This home is perfect in every way, from it's location to it's decor and beyond. Jacci was such an amazing host, full of joy and so willing to share ideas on how to make the most of our stay. The home is withing walking distance of many great things! Don't miss out on Ward's sausage breakfast sandwich at the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. It will ruin you for all other sausage. I also highly recommend the wine tour on the lake with Bianconi Tours. It was an amazing weekend and we can't wait to return.

Wonderful stay!

We had a lovely time staying here! The house was a great size for my family (there were 5 adults and a baby). It was so close to the state park, different wineries/breweries, blueberry picking, and the playground in the back was lovely to have so close for our little one. Jacci was super communicative and made us feel at home. Would love to come back!

Delightful Lakeside Getaway

I’m not sure whether it was the beauty of the season in upstate NY, or the artsy home with a history, or the kind welcoming hostess, but if you want a perfect lakeside getaway, this is your spot. I highly recommend. Thank you to Jacci for your graciousness.

Wonderful getaway

My family and I were looking for a relaxing retreat and this place was a real gem. It is a comfortably furnished Victorian beauty with lots of room and space to be together or to retreat for some down time. We especially loved the front porch and its view of the lake. Jacci was a super friendly and helpful host who made sure all of our needs were met and gave us lots of useful information about places to go around the village of Aurora and Ithaca. We highly recommend this place for a family vacation.

Wonderful owners, beautiful home!

I should start by saying that Jacci and her husband saved my whole bachelorette weekend by their kindness and hospitality! I had a group of girlfriends from all over NYS (even one from Seattle) who all came to celebrate this weekend with me. We had a planned wine tour of Seneca Lake as well as a special dinner reservation. We originally didn’t book this home (only reason being we weren’t originally looking to book a home in this specific area). However, upon arrival to the original home that we booked for the weekend we found out the owners had double booked and there was “nothing they could do for us” as the other party showed up first. With that being said we began calling around frantically looking for a home large enough for all of us to fit and that wasn’t already booked for the weekend. That’s when we came across Jacci and her beautiful home!!!! To this day I still don’t know how we got so lucky! Jacci and her husband were SO sweet and SO accommodating. They quickly went to the home and got everything set up for us and were so kind and understanding of our situation. Their house is so cute, cozy, and clean! All of us felt so comfortable there! One of our favorite things about our stay there was having our morning coffee on their adorable patio each morning and catching a glimpse of the beautiful lake. The location ended up being perfect as well! We were so close to wonderful restaurants and cute shops. They always say everything happens for a reason and I truly believe we were meant to stay at 434 Main St. I would recommend this home to anyone! Thank you for saving my bachelorette party, Jacci! We owe our wonderful weekend all to you and your husband!

Great weekend getaway with a beautiful house and view of the lake !

I rented out the house with a group of friends for a bachelorette weekend. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us a tour of the house and also went above and beyond providing us with breakfast items. She stopped by frequently to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. The house itself was stunning and had a beautiful front porch looking across the street to the lake. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway!

Great Location - Thoughtful Owner - Accommodations Galore!

Jacci was very attentive to our needs. She gave us a wonderful tour of the home and provided us all that we needed to navigate the area. The house was quaint, perfect location, and accommodations were as advertised. It sleeps 11 very comfortably. Aurora Main Stays - fabulous home away from home

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at 434 Main St. and 432 Main St. guest houses, May 9-13, 2018, and I cannot praise the proprietors, Jacci and Virgil, enough for the lovely accommodations, attention to detail and excellent service that they provided. Our get-together was prompted by a funeral in Auburn, and the guest houses proved to be a warm and welcoming home base for the extended family to gather, reminisce and get reunited. Special touches included coffee grinders; fresh flowers; kitchens stocked with local coffees, milk and juice; i-phone cords and chargers, motion detection lights and much more. Jacci was always available for questions – and is a great ambassador for the Finger Lakes area! My husband, brother and I stayed in the recently renovated upstairs apartment at 434 Main St. which provided us proximity to our family downstairs plus some quiet time as needed. It was the perfect setup. The apartment was beautifully decorated in the style and time period of the home plus it had all of the modern amenities you could want. Super comfortable beds – always a plus when you travel. We eagerly await our next visit to the Finger Lakes area and staying with Aurora Main Stays! Carol & Brad Cohen

Great, spacious house

House was perfect for our large group that was there to attend a wedding at the Aurora Inn. Jacci was easy to contact and very responsive to all of our questions, various arrival schedules, and requests. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

A delightful wedding week at 434 Main Street

As parents of the groom, we stayed from Wednesday through Tuesday with a Saturday wedding in between. There was ample room for both friends and family. It was great that all the wedding guests stayed in town, so close to the wedding venue at the Aurora Inn. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more), plus the living areas and the sunny porches allowed everyone to have their own space. Each bedroom was unique in its decor. It was quiet and very comfortable. The friendly property manager was available throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and relatives. and there was ample room and everything was provided. It was more than advertisedWe were so comfortable with all the space, including breakfasts on the porch, barbecues in the back, There was just an overall friendly small-town feeling that we experienced while there.

A Glorious Month in Aurora

We rented this house for the month of July and can't recommend it highly enough. The house is decorated in an inviting way and we had many, many dinner guests using the well-equipped kitchen and dinner service ware. We spent hours on the front porch, watching the world go by with our granddaughter. Our children and spouses joined us for our son's wedding and for a week of rest and relaxation. The layout of the house allowed for ample opportunites both to be together and to have privacy. Jacci and Virge were open and exceptional hosts, constantly responding to our needs and suggesting activities and resources. Our extended families rented others of their properties and we had wonderful progressive dinners throughout the wedding week. From yoga to the McKenzie Childs sale, the Farmer's Market and walks to nearby Longpoint State Park this was an unforgettable experience. We'll be back!

Delightful!

We were looking for a quiet place to bring the entire family together for the Christmas holiday and this was the perfect fit! We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. We could partake of the Aurora holiday cheer in this beautifully restored home that offered both comfort and privacy. This was a convenient and affordable alternative to staying in a hotel and eating in restaurants. This will be our "go to" stay when visiting the Finger Lakes.

Our company is Aurora MainStays and we own/manage nine properties along Main Street all the way to Long Point State Park. Anything we can do for making a guests stay comfortable is what we are about.
