This cute beach cottage was recently remodeled for that perfect "getaway". You are invited to come and enjoy the unobstructed views and peaceful surroundings. Wake up to some amazing sunrises and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Watch the eagles soar as they search for food over the vast waters of the Strait. Spend hours watching the ships pass by, or simply enjoy the views of Mt. Baker, Whidbey Island and the San Juan Islands. Take some much deserved time for yourself to read or unwind in the back gardens. Romantic evenings present themselves around the mesmerizing flames from the outdoor fire pit. For the children, roasting marshmallows is a big hit! Create fond memories during your stay while digging for clams or harvesting Dungeness Crab when in season. Walks on the beach rejuvenates the soul, and many treasures can be found while beachcombing. Panoramic views surround our cottage. Bring your bicycles and kayaks as fun adventures include bicycling the Olympic Discovery Trail, kayaking to the New Dungeness Lighthouse, walking along the 5.5 mile long Dungeness Spit, or golfing at one of the scenic golf courses. The kids will love driving through the Olympic Game Farm and getting up close with the llamas, yaks, zebras and waving bears.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome to the Beach Cottage. We ask that you provide them with their own towels and beds. I do provide a basket with extra towels and a blanket should you forget. Dogs are not allowed on beds and furniture. The beach is dog friendly but if your dog wants to wander in other neighbors gardens, it might be better to walk them on a lease. Trash: There are bins in the back of the cottage, for general trash, recycle plastic and recycle paper. Please make sure your trash is dispose of when you leave the cottage. If there is any damage to the cottage during your stay, please let us know before you leave. You may browse through the rental agreement and most of the other requests will be listed there. Thank You!

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation! It was so clean and well stocked with everything you could need to facilitate an enjoyable stay. The beach is a stone’s throw away. The beds were so comfortable and there were towels and such items aplenty. The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. The hosts were so lovely and gracious as well. I will say that the stairs leading up to the living area would be challenging with someone with mobility issues. The area is wonderful as well, with the Dungeness Spit being so close, as well as Lake Crescent is a must to venture out to!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Great location

This location, right on the beach, can't be beat. The property was comfortable and homey. Great location to explore Sequim and the Olympic National Park.

Calm and relaxing

If that’s what you’re looking for, then you’re in for a treat! Small kitchen that requires an extra set of hands, but it works. Great berry picking farm nearby and the owners have done a magnificent job with flowers and their garden!

This was incredible. We can’t say enough good things. From the impeccable accommodations to the beach access it was all amazing. Gloria and Pat were excellent hosts. They answer texts and email at lightening speed. We will be back in a heartbeat. It was so hard to leave.

Gorgeous house!

If you’re going to Sequim and considering this home, just go ahead and reserve it! This beautiful home and the stunning, beautifully cultivated property it is on is a destination in itself. From the moment we walked in the door to a card, ballroom, wine, and snacks, we felt welcomed. Our stay was wonderful and relaxing! Thanks Gloria & Pat

A Gem On The Water

This was one of our most enjoyed property attention to detail and surroundings is stunning - owners are very friendly and accommodating if you enjoy the ocean sound - passing ships and submarines - changing tides - sea birds - deer - otters and beautiful sunrises you have found it.

Getaway with Charm and Wow, What a View

The first thing you'll notice when you get upstairs in this charming property is the carefully curated collection of art (including what I can only imagine is some wonderful pieces created by the host!) The property is clean, thoughtfully appointed and the view of the water is truly spectacular and includes several Adirondack chairs and a table so you can walk outside and sit and enjoy the birds, the water, and the view. Hosts live on property, but did not stop by or visit (this is fine, in my opinion, it can be weird when the hosts are all up in your business), that said, I was aware that they were there and worried about being noisy, or closing our car doors late at night, etc. The kitchen is cozy and included all the essentials. Dining area is up the stairs, near the bedroom, where you can sit at the table, or near the windows and watch the view. Bedrooms were comfortable, with lovely trim and art. Each included a desk or area where you could work, if needed (although I loved sitting at the window and working with the water view). Sequim is a cute little town with charming arts and restaurants and easy access to the National Park and lots of hiking, water adventures and more. We absolutely loved our time in the area, and at this wonderful property.

A Little Piece of Heaven

This little cottage was not only cozy and convenient, it was also beautifully laid out. You can tell that the owners put thought and care into every detail (nightlights, chip clips, hand soaps, etc.). There is even a convenient outdoor sink to rinse off so guests won’t track sand throughout the indoor space. Our family will definitely make this cottage and annual trip going forward.

A perfect beach getaway with breathtaking views

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning beach house, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views, especially the sunrises and sunsets. The beautiful sights of the waves and the sound of seagulls was a dream come true. The house itself is beautifully designed, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and provide unobstructed views of the beach. The reading room was a personal favorite of my husband; it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a good book while soaking in the serene surroundings. The amenities were top-notch, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces. It truly felt like a home away from home. I cannot recommend this beach house enough! We would definitely come back again for another relaxing getaway. If you're looking for a place to escape and rejuvenate, this is it! **Rating:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ + + +

Interesting location

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this cabin and watching the changes with the tides. It was a good base for exploring the surrounding areas. My granddaughter loved playing where the tide water drains in and out of the culvert. Just supervise them. Cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. A trip to Dungeness Spit was also well worth it.

A true hidden gem!

My family and I stayed here for a quick end of summer getaway and had a fantastic time. The location is unbelievable and I couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful the beach was. The cottage and property were perfect. The hosts have thought of and provided everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable and the cottage has books, DVDs and some games you can use. My kids loved playing on the beach and making smores by the fire while my husband and I enjoyed the stunning view. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing time!

Beautiful location - felt super private. Although the posting didn't mention anything about soap/shampoo/handwash/etc., this home was stocked to the gills with everything you could possibly need (and may have forgotten). It even included Peet's coffee! We were blown away by the private reading cottage, beautiful beach for beachcombing and watching tons of wildlife. Our only regret was not bringing our paddleboards - we will next time, for sure!

Unbelievable location!

Thank you to our hosts for sharing this little piece of heaven with others. Waking up to a sunrise over Mt. Baker, reflected in the water is an image I will cherish always. Listened to the waves at night and enjoyed reading in the little sun room. If they had Michelin stars for places to stay, this one gets a 3 (out of 3) and is worth a trip to Sequim just to stay here.

Beautiful Place to Stay

This was our second time to stay here. Gorgeous views, beautiful house and garden. Very quiet and nice place to sit and watch Ships go by!!! The hosts are wonderful people and very helpful if you need anything.

Pat and Gloria are the owners. They enjoy the pacific northwest and have lived in Sequim for 11 years and previously lived in Vancouver, Washington. We love the area and enjoy fishing, clamming, and crabbing. Washington State University is our alma mater. Go Cougs!

We have always dreamed about living right on the beach and, we bought this property as a "fixer upper"project and have designed it to bring happiness into our lives as well as others. The beach cottage is located on a shared 102 feet beach front lot. We have lived in several places over the years but, this is by far our favorite with its' wonderful climate, magnificent views and so many outdoor adventures.

We chose this property due to the beautiful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and surrounding areas. Our windows face the water with Mt. Baker, Protection Island, Whidbey Island, the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island, Canada in view. The area has an abundance of wild bird life including many eagles.
