ALSO a key point is - we are within the village, the centre only 8 minutes walking distance to shops, cafes and the famous restaurants! Superb value for a top quality villa. (Our location pin is correct - not like many others ...... beware!)
** We can't stress enough how a hot swimming pool and walking distance to shops & restaurants will make a huge difference to your overall experience, this is not to be underestimated**

Villa Paraiso (Paradise!) a large beautifully situated riverside villa with HEATED private pool, Aircon & Super fast fiber optic WiFi, right in the hidden gem of a Spanish village Benahavis; yet only 7 minutes drive to the Coast & nearest beaches & just 15 & 20 minutes to the jet-set resorts of Puerto Banus and Marbella.

Benahavis village is famous for its many restaurants and is known as the 'Dining Room of Andalucia' and is a village that is very positive and welcoming of visitors. Due to its size and enviable location, Villa Paraiso can offer something for everyone. Enjoy the rivers wonderful fresh water swimming hole or the beautiful village park with children’s play area right by the villa. Take an 8 minute stroll into the village centre (700m), where there are shops, tapas bars & restaurants. Relax, dine and soak up the sun in the delightful village square.
Alternatively pick a fresh lemon from the tree at the front gate & simply chill at home in the hammock with a Gin & Tonic, whilst Jose our Paella specialist cooks for you by your own swimming pool!

*Villa Paraiso rentals are weekly - usual entry day is Saturdays. If you wish a 8-13 day stay or entry other days of the week, then we will do our best to try an accommodate you depending on the time of year and other reservations around that time and will offer alternative quotations, as incomplete weeks leaves us with unsaleable days.*

I treated my family to a week 23-30th August cannot put into words how beautiful this villa and its surrounding are! Spotless clear and the facilities provided are above and beyond any other I have stayed in. Susie from start to finish of your trip is there to answer anything you may need with advice and tips. She personally comes to the villa every other day to clean the pool ! At 1st a felt this a little invasive but we just got in with it. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought about in this villa! We had our own paella night and the children dressed up in traditional spa dish costumes (provided) it’s walking distance to Benahavis which is beautiful and we went out several nights. The local market in Marbella is also worth a visit. We all seriously did not want to leave this beautiful villa . And will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa

From beginning to end, this trip was amazing. Susie was incredibly helpful throughout, always ready to answer questions and offer advice. The villa itself was spacious and stunning, both inside and out. Its location was idea, just a short walk to town, where we found a great selection of lovely restaurants. Set on the edge of town near the gorge, which was perfect for everyone to jump in and cool down. Peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by the natural beauty of Andalucía, it couldn’t have been better.

Highly recommended!This villa is the best we have stayed at over the many years we have been going to Spain. The property has everything you could need including multiple pool towels for the many sun loungers. Having received very detailed pre arrival information we were already impressed & Susie’s perfect hosting continued throughout our stay. The pool was superb for our three 4-year old grand-children & having it heated made it the ideal temperature for them. Many restaurants/bars are available in the village with a 8-15 minute walk depending on which you went to. Small food stores also available or a large supermarket is less than a 10 minute drive away. Multiple terraces/balcony seating areas around the property allow you to either sit in the sun/shade or have some quiet time. Views are fabulous & it was lovely to safely see the wild boar do a daily dusk walk through in the lower fenced off grounds. Thank you Susie for your hosting & attention to detail.

Best of the best

We stayed in the villa for the week before Easter. I booked for myself and my husband,my parents ( in their 80’s) my aunt , 3 sons and two girlfriends. Susie sent detailed information and instructions before we arrived including car hire tips etc. on arrival the villa was presented beautifully. We were all blown away by the views from the villa. We loved all the areas to sit and the heated pool was an absolute bonus . We also made use of the maxi bar which was so helpful after a long journey . If you are used to renting property that doesn’t even provide a dishwasher tablet …. This is the polar opposite. Everything you need has been provided . The village is lovely and we ate some delicious food. Would definitely hope to return and would recommend to anyone .

Outstanding - PARADISO

Villa Paradiso is everything the description states and much much more. The beautiful images do not prepare you for the views and the stunning landscape from every corner of the villa. The villa is on a small street very close to the town centre and is SO private. We were warmly welcomed by Susie (the owner) and encouraged to go and explore the Villa. Susie pointed out a few practical things regarding the Villa and wished us a happy holiday we were then left to enjoy the excellent facilities. Fridge and cupboards filled with "goodies" - everything we needed and more for our first evening meal including good wine and beers - even chocolate:) Apart from the pool the kitchen was our hub - so spacious with good seating. This set the scene for a fabulous holiday. Great heated pool with LOADS of toys for the children. Plenty of space to either sit in the sun or shade. Bedrooms beautifully presented. Nothing quite prepares you to sit up in bed with the French windows open and take in the beautiful landscape and the mountains. The Villa is so well situated for the town. Just a short walk up the hill and we were in the beautiful town centre of Benahavis - filled with little squares and excellent restaurants. We had a WONDERFUL family week together. Thanks especially to Susie before/during/after our holiday - always available and nothing was a problem. THANK YOU SO MUCH. We hope to return......:) Cecilia Horsburgh and family

Amazing stay

We were a family group aging from 1 to 77. The Villa met all our needs and having a heated pool was an added bonus. Benahavis village is lovely and only a 10-15 walk. It is quite uphill from the Villa, so would be a struggle for anyone with walking difficulties but we had a car so that wasn’t an issue for us. Suzie, the owner has been brilliant. Very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had before our stay and popped in a. Couple of times to check everything was ok. We hope to be able to come back one day.

Delightful holiday

Gorgeous spot with superb views. Variety of outside sitting and eating areas not overlooked. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Susie was so helpful from first contact and was always ready to offer help and advice at all stages. Heated pool fantastic. Handy walking distance from pretty village with ameneties. A really great place.

Quality time in beautiful Benahavis

We were a group of 5 couples spending staying to celebrate various 60 th birthdays that were had during and after covid. The villa was perfect for our needs, lots of outdoor separate outdoor spaces for everyone to sit and chat or read a book and relax. The pool was so lovely and warm which really is a real treat. Susie was always happy to answer our questions and offer advice and the maxi bar was such a great idea and so convenient. No need to dash to the shops to stock up on supplies. Had some wonderful meals in the restaurants in town and enjoyed being able to stroll back downhill to the villa afterwards. Quality time in a great villa with good friends, good food and wine and beautiful scenery what’s not to love!

Wonderful home and host

Susie has thought of everything and it comes in the package of a beautiful home, immaculately presented and a wonderful base to explore the area. Susie was a great host, providing all the info we needed, letting us get on with our holiday while ensuring the pool and gardens were kept in tip top condition. Benahavis is a nice little village/town with enough places to eat that you can happily try somewhere new every day. If your looking for a good base to play golf, have time away from the beaches and feel relaxed and at home, this is an excellent choice. Thanks for you care and attention to detail Susie.

Just perfect

Susie was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Her communication was great all through the lockdown years and during the holiday. Before we travelled she gave us loads of useful information. The directions to the villa were perfect. Susie met us when we arrived and was very helpful. The villa was perfect; very spacious inside and out and it had everything we needed, even toys and pool inflatables for our 17 month old granddaughter. It was also super clean and in a perfect location to explore the village without needing to drive. The village itself is lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We went to El Guarda 1926 where we all enjoyed our food and we found the staff friendly and accommodating. Los Abanicos was excellent and for a different foodie experience we loved the restaurant at the Amanhavis Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Benahavís. Susie goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests and is definitely a super host! Thanks very much, Susie!

Amazing villa!

Apart from everything about the villa being incredible, the up front information and service pre-arrival is the best we have received by far. The villa, pool area and gardens are all stunning. The villa is equipped with all you will need. Benahavis is 10 minute stroll away (although it isn't all flat) and is beautiful with lovely restaurants. Best overall villa holiday we have had.

Perfect Stay

Nothing that hadn't been thought of - Simply perfect. Our trip to Villa Paraiso was a special holiday for all the family. Villa Paraiso offered a luxurious stay with spectacular views and a beautifully presented interior - the perfect spot for any family wanting to enjoy the tranquillity of Benahavis while still being a short drive away from Puerto Banus. Spotless, spacious and with a picturesque view from every angle, Villa Paraiso not only ticked all of our boxes as a place to stay but also as a destination to visit. Benahavis is a pocket of calm, hidden in the hills from the bustle of Banus, with great restaurants a short stroll away from the villa. The heated pool was a bonus, with many hours enjoyed every day by both the children and adults. With a real home-from-home feel, all the basics were provided for in the kitchen, from bin bags to cooking oil. Susie, Villa Paraiso's owner, was a fantastic host who quite simply had thought of everything we would require as a family of 11. From recommending places to eat and explore to being extremely responsive to any questions our group had before and during our stay, Suzie offered great insight into the local area and provided recommendations for activities and restaurants. The 'river run' which is just opposite was a favourite and is a MUST for anyone who visits. As a family who always loves to visit somewhere new, we rarely stay in the same place twice. However, Villa Paraiso we simply couldn't fault, therefore we will be back again in the future. Thank you for a brilliant holiday!

Excellent. Beautiful villa furnished to a high standard in a fantastic location. Everything exactly as described and we had a wonderful time. Susie is a fantastic host. She keeps very much in touch, provides a wonderful warm welcome and gives you all the information you could ever need. It certainly shows that she loves and takes pride in her property. And rightly so..its a peach Benahavis is a good base to explore the costa del sol with the village restaurants just a short walk away earning deserved praise. Thoroughly recommended

Villa Paraiso met and exceeded all expectations!

A group of 3 couples came to Villa Paraiso to celebrate my 60th birthday The villa was just as beautiful as pictured. It was perfect for our group in that there were plenty of spaces to be on your own an get some work done or quietly read a book as well as fabulous spaces for us all to be together for morning chats about the previous day, take a swim, dine alfresco and ,of course, drink some yummy Spanish wine! We enjoyed wandering around Benahavis and had some great meals there. We also did day trips to Old Marbella and Puerto Banus which gave us a great taste of both "old" and "new Spain (I preferred Marbella) Probably our favorite find was Chiringuito Victors Beach which lies between these two Beautiful little beach where you can call and reserve beach chairs and umbrellas, have a refreshing cocktail made at the Tiki bar and have a delicious lunch of fresh seafood and other yummy offerings. The staff could not have been more accommodating (we went there 3 times:) Finally, speaking of accommodating Susie, Villa Paraiso's owner, was a dream to work with!! The information she sends in advance is unlike anything I've received from any VRBO property in the past. In addition, she is quick to respond to any random questions you may have both prior to and during your stay(and we had a lot given we were there during Covid) via Whats App It is a long journey from the United States but would definitely consider it again in the future!

We drove in to Benahavis on a rainy day and just knew the village was the place for us. A little slice of heaven.

Benahavis is a very well cared for white washed village set in beautiful mountains, yet you are so close to the buzz of the trendy happening places like Puerto Banus, Marbella and the coasts many beaches, beach clubs and Chirungitos (beach restaurants).

The village is great with all its restaurants, village pool, river swimming hole, canyoning, walks and award winning park by the villa, it is just simply stunning.

The combination of the village center just 8 minutes walk away, the river and especially the space at Villa Paraiso makes for a special holiday experience for all age groups.
