Our beautiful mountain home has it ALL! We are located just minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg yet you feel like you are far up in the mountains! Mountain Mist features three bedrooms each with its' own on suite bathroom! Every level of this home has an unobstructed view of Mount Leconte and the amazing Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

This spectacular mountain cabin has an open floor plan to take advantage of the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Mount Leconte. On the main floor, you will find a well appointed great room, dining room and kitchen. The great room boasts a 55" HDTV and stacked stone gas fireplace. The kitchen and dining room are divided by a convenient kitchen bar, great for breakfast on the go or hooking up your laptop with the under bar power strip. Also on the main level is the Master Bedroom/Bath complete with a jacuzzi tub great for relaxing after a big day of hiking or shopping. Additionally, there is a half bath located on this level.

The top level of Mountain Mist features a comfortable loft area perfect for reading a book or just taking in the mountain views. On this level, there is an additional Master bedroom including on suite bathroom with its' own Jacuzzi tub and a small balcony great for sipping morning coffee or simply hanging out watching nature.

The bottom floor features a third Master bedroom with on suite bathroom, a laundry room and a large den complete with pool table and tv nook. There is also a queen size pull out sofa located in the tv nook. The eight person hot tub is located on the covered porch and is especially great for those rainy or snowy nights when a dip in the hot tub completes the perfect day. We also have High Speed Wireless Internet!

Summer is a great time to go swimming and we have complimentary access to two pools close to the cabin! Planning your family reunion, church retreat, wedding reception, anniversary party, corporate retreat or other getaway and you need meeting space or room to gather? We have access to three clubhouses that offers banquet facilities that can accommodate both small and large groups!

Great hosts

Unfortunately due to unexpected circumstance we were unable to stay. The host was wonderful in helping us with the situation. Refunds were almost immediate. We would rent from him again.

Great Mountain View

We had a great time with family!! The view of the mountains was amazing! Having coffee on the deck was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property. The owners were communicating well and were very informative!

Perfect Getaway

This was our second time staying at this cabin. Cabin is in a great location with beautiful views. It is well stocked and great for larger families with room to spread out. Great communication with owners! We hope you come back and visit again! Thanks so much for an amazing trip!

We love everything about this cabin, it's our home away from home when we're in TN

The owner's have thought of everything, so we didn't have to! The decor is very inviting, beautiful, & relaxing at every turn. Sitting on the deck was the go-to spot where we spent time with family & enjoyed the amazing view. We would highly recommend Mountain Mist to anyone!

Best cozy cabin to spend Christmas

We had a wonderful experience renting this cabin! Scott and Sally responding quickly to emails, cabin was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas the only thing missing was snow! The views were incredible!

Loved it’

We loved the cabin! The porch with hot tub and gas fireplace was our favorite spot. Big nice kitchen where we cooked meals. Nice grill. Beautiful large windows overlooking the mountains. Breathtaking! We would love to go back in the spring.

Awesome property

Scott and sally communicated all the way through the process. Their home was exactly as advertised. The outdoor porches, fireplace, games, and oversized hot tub was great. The proximity to Gatlinburg and to the Smokies was a bonus. It is a few minute drive into town and your on the south side which makes it convenient by not fighting the traffic. The same goes with getting to most of trails it will save you time being on the south side of town. We would definitely come back. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

Beautiful view and so convenient!

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was so easy and the owners were so nice and accomodating every step of the way. Cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The views were wonderful and seeing the momma bear and 3 baby cubs come around were a highlight for sure! We would definitely book here again!

great cabin.

nice cabin! beautiful view.. saw several bears.. just make sure you lock your vehicles cause the bears will open the doors and go in!!!! only complaint we would have is there were only 2 towels in our bathroom for a 5 night stay, but there was a washer and drier so not to much of a problem. all in all i would highly recomend ..

Awesome house, view, and location!

We loved the house and the view was great! We could go into town very easily. I would recommend getting groceries in the nearby larger towns on your way in and read all the info on bears so you know how to keep them and you safe. The house has pretty much everything for the kitchen, grilling, and entertainment. We really loved it and would go back again for sure!

We are never disappointed with our stay at Mountain Mist. It is the best chalet.

Scott and Sally maintain the chalet as I would my own home. They continuously are making improvements to make your stay the best experience you could have. We don't stay any place other Mountain Mist. They handle things personally for you and I like being able to talk with them. They are always accessible if and when you have a question or a need.

Wonderful rental

We so enjoyed our stay! The cabin was centrally located close to the Mountain park entrance and to downtown. Hot tub, grill, pool table, and the Mountain View! All the activities you can ask for in order to have a successful and fun filled family vacation! Can’t wait to come back!

Nothing short of amazing

I was a lil sad that most of my family couldn't make it, but me and one of my children made the best of this home. Lots of space and entertainment. Most definitely have to visit again before the year out. We loved it from the moment we walked in. Lovely home and how can I not forget the guest book. Perfect cabin with a view!

We loved the sty at this cabin! It was clean, stocked with essentials, and the view could not have been more perfect! The area was a perfect location! Literally 5 minutes from the strip and also close to Pigeon Forge. You really just need to go ahead and book this spot! It’s perfect for anyone!

Anniversary get-away

This home is so cozy and the views (when it’s not foggy) are truly breathtaking!!! Scott & Sally truly make this a home away from home feel and we loved all the small touches they have put into this home! The couch is phenomenal!!! The well stocked and spacious kitchen made for easy cooking days for us. The game room was a fun blast from the past for us as we did laundry for a day. There are no words to describe how much we loved the hot tub and outdoor fireplace on cold nights!! Everything about this home made for such a peaceful vacation! The road up is steep and the sharp turn can be tricky in dense fog at night, but as long as you are careful and take your time it was no trouble. The driveway is spacious enough and we were able to pull past the driveway and back into it with a Ram truck with no problem. We highly recommend this beautiful home for as little as one couple to multiple family members or friends.

We are originally from East Tennessee and currently live outside of Nashville with our two children, dog, two cats, guinea pig and fish. Our jobs and school hold us in Nashville but our hearts live in the Great Smoky Mountains!

We have been coming to the Gatlinburg area since we were children and can't imagine a year without at least one visit. In fact, we have rented Mountain Mist for the past 15 years and are so grateful to have had the opportunity to purchase our mountain dream home in 2015. We are excited about sharing our dream with others and hope that everyone who stays with us will make memories to last a lifetime!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We fell in love with Mountain Mist because of the views and the close proximity to all our favorite activities - hiking, skiing, fishing, site seeing and shopping. We have always felt at home here and enjoy the three private suites which are great for couples or families.
