Stunning chalet with jaw-dropping views.

update 14th Feb26..... 70cm of snow last week and another 70cm expected this week. Long term forecast is to stay cold setting the stage for a spectacular Easter season. Ziggy is now available for Easter so do book before it goes!

Chalet Ziggy is situated on a ledge at the edge of Haute Nendaz, in the middle of the 4-Vallees ski area, with astonishing views over the Southern wall of Valais. Ziggy can sleep up to 11 people in five generous bedrooms. The chalet is spread over three floors, with 3 bedrooms on the lower floor and two master bedrooms on the upper floor.

Ziggy was built for friends and family, and furnished to an exceptionally high degree, with Starck bathroom fittings and natural stone throughout. It is situated on a small exclusive private road on the edge of the village. Dramatic mountains form a permanent backdrop to distant villages, sudden snowstorms, rainbows, hawks, and the clearest of skies.

All through the year the sun sets over the large terrace with ample outside seating, a barbecue, sunloungers, and even a table-tennis table (there are plenty of bats and balls in the house!). A short walk away are the trailheads for several iconic mountain hikes The village outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts are just a short stroll away. Many mountain bike trails run straight past the house.

Ziggy is well-equipped for the winter season. There is underfloor heating throughout, a dedicated ski room, and ample additional storage in the garage. It's a great place to stop after a hard day on the slopes. The local ski bus that circulates throughout the village stops just a few minutes walk away, and links directly to the 4-Vallees bus network that takes you to Siviez, Verbier, Thyon, and Veysonnaz

The chalet is ideal for one or two families, or a medium size group looking for a self-catered mountain getaway. I have relationships with many local restaurants, and ski- and bike-hire outfits, and can find or recommend mountain guides as you need. Please ask me for recommendations.

Awesome! Great Chalet, in a lovely resort. We always go to Nendaz and it’s a great resort for fun, great atmosphere and good snow with a large ski area in the 4 valleys. The Chalet itself was beautiful and the host was super helpful and quick to resolve any issues (we only had 1 small one with bedding but more was delivered within 20 minutes). The only thing I’d say is Google maps “Chalet Ziggy” as its location on VRBO is slightly different, it’s approximately a 20 minute walk into the centre/ski lift but not an issue at all with the busses or if you have a car. An easy walk into town for drinks or dinner. Thanks Darren for being a great host and hopefully see you again soon :)

We had an amazing stay at the Ziggy Chalet! The property accommodated 8 friends for a ski holiday and did not disappoint. Host Darren was excellent throughout; very responsive! Would highly recommend the Ziggy!

The property is amazing for a big family who want to stay in a gorgeous Swiss ski village, wake up to stunning mountain views each day and enjoy a beautiful walk into town where there is a great toboganing hill, incredible ski fields and bars, restaurants, coffee shops and all the amenities you could need. We will be back!

Gorgeous chalet on the mountaintop with amazing views!

Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. Great host- super cooperative and responsive to questions. Can’t beat the views!

Sweeping Views

This mountain chalet has sweeping views across the Valais Valley from its lovely living room. It has a well-equipped kitchen and five bedrooms making it a good choice for a large family or two couples with up to 7 children. The town of Nendaz has a number of good shops and nice restaurants. Darren (owner) is responsive.

great property. must have studded tires or chains in winter.

we travel a lot. this was a great house, great and responsive host. wonderful stay. one nit, though the owner is very responsive, local property manager can do better job clearing the driveway from ice and snow. its a very steep and very icy driveway. stock up on lots n lots of salt or google for locals to come help :) otherwise absolutely great place, town, owner and his recommendations for ski hire and restaurants.

Très beau chalet, parfaitement équipé à tous niveaux La vue est splendide et la terrasse ensoleillée est agréable. La table de ping-pong est un plus certainement lorsqu’il y a des enfants. Notre hôte est très réactif à toute question. Nous étions 6 adultes et 5 enfants et avons passé un excellent séjour.

Fijn huis voor twee gezinnen

We hadden een goede ervaring: goed uitgeruste ruime keuken, fijne woonkamer om te spelen en lezen met fantastisch uitzicht en twee ouderbadkamers en een kinderkamer en extra toilet. We hadden HDMI kabel bij ons voor de spelcomputer en om Netflix te kijken vanaf de tablet. Geen problemen gehad!

A Gateway To Heaven

This property is just wonderful, clean, modern, charming, well-apppinted and incomparable views of the Alps. Great skiing about 1 kilometer down the road. Plus decent apres ski nearby. Sion is 30 minutes away and Zermatt is about 90 minutes away. Best vacation I've had in many years!

Great property with fantastic view, very comfortable for 9 people with a fab kitchen, skiing fairly close by via free bus although short walk to bus stop is via steep and at times icy road and was trying but nevertheless was very enjoyable week and host was quick to respond to any queries.

Gutes Objekt für grosse und oder Patchwork Family

Das Objekt ist gut gelegen, auch wenn es sich lohnt, jeden Tag mit dem Auto zur Bahn zu fahren. Skibus Haltestelle zwar in der Nähe, aber etwas mühsam zu erreichen. Gute Einrichtung im Haus, es war alles in genügendem Ausmass vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Drei Punkte, die speziell zu beachten sind: Radio und Fernsehen muss man selber mitbringen. Es gibt keinen Sateliten- oder Kabelanschluss, was ich eigentlich bei einem Objekt in dieser Preisklasse erwartet hätte. Bett- und Frottewäsche wird nur einmal zur Verfügung gestellt und nicht gewechselt. Wir mussten nach einer Woche alles selber waschen. Im Wohnraum schliessen die meisten Fenster nicht richtig und können von aussen ganz leicht aufgedrückt werden. So mussten wir alle Wertsachen jeden Tag verstecken oder sogar im Auto mitnehmen.

Alpine perfection

We booked this last minute as we couldn't go to France and we are so glad we did. The views are amazing, the beds really comfortable, the open plan dining/living area perfect for our party of 8. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus the log burning stove made it always really toasty after a day on the slopes. Darren was so helpful as we made our last minute preparations and always answered any queries promptly and fully. We were glad we had hired a car which made trips to the slopes and shops much easier. Overall we couldn't fault the chalet or the host.

Amazing Week at Chalet Ziggy

Darren is a fantastic host, the property was exactly as described, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and perfect for our two families of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The kitchen was perfect in terms of everything it had. Really can't say enough about the experience both of Nendaz/Verbier and the accommodations at Chalet Ziggy. We would stay again!!! Too bad the snow was just ok, not as great as we had hoped but that is always the issue this time of the year! Thank you Darren for everything!

Chalet Ziggy and its location is like living the Swiss dream!

Swiss dream villa and perfect location! We were 6 adults and 3 kids and it was extremely comfortable. The Chalet is clean, the kitchen is beyond well equipped, the living room has unforgettable view from the couch…you feel like you can touch with finger the Alps. The fireplace is awesome, we had fondue in front of it. Also we enjoyed BBQ, sleights for the kids…garage is available also. The house is super well heated, they also have floor heating, perfect for the kids and you to walk barefoot ;) the landlord Daren, is one of a kind person. He is polite and always ready to assist whit what can, replying immediately to our messages and needs - example: something happened to our drying machine and doesn't wanted to work, we informed Darren and on the next day we had brand new one bought and installed… thank you Darren for everything. Very nice house

The chalet is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped. The view from balcony is amazing, the kitchen area is super with the terrace and the living room allow to enjoy the great view. Rooms are large, bathrooms well equipped also with shower and bathtub. It was a pleasure to be back from slopes and enjoy the house.

We ski about 6 weeks a year, and spend about a month in the summer at the chalet. I can help with the ski area, hiking, renting kit, dining out, and getting babysitters.
