Sleeps up to 5 (3 adults + 2 children), 2 room apartment that is set over two levels in Aiguille Grive 3 residence. Set amidst the trees with glorious views from the South West balcony, facing across the Tarentaise Valley, this warm and spacious apartment is just metres from the open pistes and a chairlift conveniently situated 20m away from the door. The apartment is ski in/ski out from a blue run. The two-story accommodation enjoys home comforts as well as a normal ceiling height on the upper floor, unlike many other residences in the resort. There is a ski hire/bakery/pizzeria adjacent to the residence.

The host was very responsive when we had questions and we had a wonderful stay at the condo. The location was perfect for skiing, truly ski in- ski out. The apartment accommodated our family of four nicely and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, etc. We did order the linen service for bedding and it was a nice linen package and the quality of linens were nice. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Excellent Accomodation and Location

We are a family of 4 who had a great Half term in Les Arcs 1800, Martin answered my many questions very promptly. The apartment is very spacious, well furnished, well equipped for self catering warm and cosy in a very peaceful location with great views over the valley. There is covered parking opposite the apartment which is so convenient when unloading the car. The Charmettoger chair lift is directly outside the exit at level 4 where you can ski back to at the end of the day. Ski hire is in the same building at ground level with very friendly staff, there is a bakery and Pizzeria in the adjacent building 30 meters from the apartment exit, pastries, Baguettes and Pizzas are freshly made and superb, again with very friendly staff. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are just over a 5 minute walk, the Sherpa supermarket is more expensive than other resorts we’ve stayed in so would suggest buying wine and beers on route. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment and will return next year.

Clean, practical apartment and good location

I practical layout for 2 adults and 2 children. All the equipment we needed for cooking. Some modern touches like an induction stove and good quality shower. The apartment is on floor 2 and we usually took the lift up to floor 4 to exit by the Charmettoger lift where we'd either take that lift up, or walk a short way up the hill to ski down to Transarc.Communication with the property owner was excellent with us being sent an information pack a few weeks ahead and also being warned of potential traffic issues on the N90. That's really appreciated.There was only one set of keys in the apartment but we were able to request a second set from the Mountain Collection concierge a day after contacting the owner. It might be good if there was a second set always available (like had been in an apartment we stayed in a previous year), as sometimes different family members want to finish the day at different times and it's not even possible to get to the apartment without a key, due to the need to use a fob to operate the lift.Another minor comment would be the lack of basic household essentials such as washing up sponges, dishwasher tablets (there was one) and hand soap. It's not a problem to buy these from the Sherpa in the village but it was a waste to have to buy 30 dishwasher tablets when we just needed 5 or 6, or two bottles of hand soap for the two toilets etc. I hope what we left remained in the apartment for the next guests to use.Overall a great apartment & recommended!

A perfect apartment to start your visit to the Paradiski area

We arrived in Les Arcs 1800 already early Saturday morning. Based on the information of the owner of the apartment and the information we received entering Les Arcs we drove straight to the parking garage opposite the Aiguille Grive III building. We parked our car in the garage since the weather forecast predicted a lot of snow (yes, the forecast was right 😉). From the apartment it’s a 10 minute walk to the centre were the rental agency, ski pass office, and a lot of shops, including a supermarket are located. We bought 6 day ski passes for the Paradiski area. As a bonus you can start skiing Saturday at 12:30. At the end of the afternoon we collected the keys of the apartment and carried our luggage from the parking lot to the apartment. The apartment was well cleaned and modern decorated. The pictures on the HomeAway website give a good impression. Almost all you need is available in the apartment. There is TV, but only with French channels (for us no problem, we could do without). The owner already informed us that there was no WiFi in the apartment. The rental agency offered a perfect solution; a WiFi travel box which gives internet access for up to ten devices. The location of the apartment is perfect. It’s located at the second floor of the building close to the elevator. At the start of a skiing day the elevator brings you to the fourth floor which gives access to the Charmettoger ski lift. At the end of this lift you can enter the second stage of the Transarc cable car which gives access to all the Les Arcs pistes. You can also ski directly to the Vanoise Express cable car which brings you to the La Plagne ski area in a few minutes. At the ground level of the building a few shops are located. We bought our bread in the small bakery / grocery / pizzeria. There is also a ski rental shop. Concluding; we certainly advice the apartment. It’s without doubt one of the best apartments we rented for a skiing holiday the last years and a perfect place to start your visit to the Paradiski area.

L’appartement est très bien avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Il y a une petite épicerie dans la résidence ce qui est très appréciable car l’appart est un petit peu loin du centre (surtout si on a des enfants en bas âge) sinon le départ ski aux pieds est top.

L’appartement est très agréable avec une grande chambre, deux étages, une cuisine bien équipée. L’accès à un télésiège directement depuis le 4eme étage est très pratique et on peut revenir à l’appartement depuis la piste Charmettoger très agréable. La société qui gère l’appartement a été très réactive quand on a fait appel à eux.

Séjour fantastique, appartement très fonctionnel

Très bon séjour aux Arcs 1800, juste à coté du télésiège Charmettoger, peu fréquenté pour monter le matin. L'appartement est spacieux et avec tous les conforts (appareil à raclette, appareil à fondue, lave-vaisselle...). Très grande chambre avec 1 salle de bains et 2 toilettes. Beau balcon avec belle vue. Un vrai bon plan

En famille

Super séjour aux Arcs avec nos 2 enfants (3 et 7 ans). Le logement est conforme à l'annonce. A 4 nous avions beaucoup de place et d'espaces de rangement. Au niveau cuisine., il ne manquait rien. Le logement est très bien situé, on sort au 4ieme étage pour directement prendre le télésiège (jamais de file d'attente). Nos enfants avaient cours au jardin d'enfants à 5 min à pieds. Boulangerie, épicerie, pizzeria et loueur de ski au pieds de l'immeuble.

Appartement très bien placé (départ et retour skis aux pieds quand les remontées sont ouvertes 🙃!) et bien équipé. La literie est très bien, nous étions 6 et il y avait assez de rangements pour nous.

Bel appartement mais un peu cher

Appartement propre, bien équipé. Dommage que l'appartement soit au 2ème étage donc pas d'accès direct au télésiège contrairement à ceux du 4ème. Vue directe sur l'entrée du parking! Pas de wifi: ce qui est inacceptable en 2019. Paiement par virement en GBP d'où des frais de banque importants. Prix de la location trop élevé pour la prestation!

Appart ideal pour un excellent séjour au ski

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 4 dans ce duplex très confortable. Il est idéalement situé au pied du télésiège de Charmettoger, le loueur de ski est au bas de l’immeuble : vraiment très pratique. Pour les courses le « Faitout » au pied de l’immeuble voisin fait à la fois boulangerie, pizza (que nous recommandons) et petite épicerie. Sinon le village des Villards est tout près à pied, avec un supermarché et autres commerces. L’appartement est fidèle aux photos. Confortable, fonctionnel, des rangements un peu partout, et pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner il y a tout ce qu’il faut ! Plaques induction, four, four micro ondes, tous les ustensiles de cuisines nécessaires. La vaisselle et les couverts sont en quantité suffisante ce qui est plutôt rare en location. Un vrai coup de cœur pour cet appartement et pour la station (vaste et grandiose) Je pense que nous reviendrons !

Appartement fonctionnel au pied des pistes !! c'est top

L'appartement est tres bien situé (4eme étage au pied des remontées "charmetogger") et une boulangerie/pizzerie à 1 min à pied ainsi que 2 magasins de locations de matériels. L'appartement est tres fonctionnel (un espace pour le rangement des skis, chaussures + vetements vraiment tres pratique) et il dispose de nombreux rangements. Nous étions 4 et avons bcp de places (les rangements permettent de ne pas laisser trainer les affaires partout...et c'est appréciable !!!) Le seul bemol fut la présence de saleté (vaisselle, "moumoute") à notre arrivée. La vérification de l'appartement n'a pas été effectué correctement par l'agence mandaté par le propriétaire... Je recommande fortement cette location.

Aguille Grive 3 Apt 320

The apartment was easy to find and picking up the keys was straight forward as the agents had waited until we arrived at around 8.30pm. All the information provided prior to rental was detailed and helpful and ensured we were able to work the electrics and heating systems on arrival. The only discrepancy was that the details stated that single bedding needed to be provided. Whilst this was true of the duvet covers there was a double bed in the main bedroom so a double sheet would have been better than the two single fitted sheets that we took along! The apartment was clean and compact with the photos provided on the website a true representation. Even though the apartment was compact we found storage to be excellent and as a family of 5 we had enough space for a comfortable stay. We particularly liked the storage area by the door for skis and found that boots, gloves etc dried really well and quickly in front of the window under the bench with the heater turned on. The kitchen was well equipped. In the bathroom upstairs the shower was spacious and powerful with plenty of hot water. We were surprised to find that there was not a heated towel rail in the bathroom...we dried our towels by hanging them on hooks in the main bedroom and switching the plug in radiator in. The apartment is well located. It is very close to a couple of ski hire shops which were not busy so service was quick. There is also a small shop/bakery/pizzeria very close by however we were disappointed on 2 out of 3 occasions when we went to order take away pizza before 7pm and were told that they had stopped serving. For more facilities such as bars, restaurants and a supermarket a 10 minute walk down the hill to Villards was necessary. The apartment was the best ski in and out we've ever had. From the front door of the apartment it was a few steps to the lift, up one floor then down a short corridor which led to the bottom of the piste with direct access to a chair lift that linked to the Transarc Express bubble. Another plus for the apartment was that to get into the building and operate the lifts a special key fob was needed so it felt very safe and secure. Whilst this property did not necessarily have the alpine charm of other places we have stayed it made up for it with great storage and ski n ski out convenience. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a clean, functional and well located apartment from which to enjoy the Les Arcs ski area.

Excellent location, clean and a great shower!

This apartment is in a brilliant location - walking distance from the main town of Les Arcs 1800 and with a ski lift literally metres away from the back door. We were a group of 4 and there was plenty of room; larger groups may struggle a little with space, but that is to expected from most apartments of this nature. It was clean, well laid out and the listing description is spot on. I would certainly recommend this apartment and am looking forward to a return visit in future. (Also make sure to check out the pizza shop around the back of the building which is really good value and high quality).

We bought our apartment in 2003. We chose Les Arcs, because it is high level with almost guaranteed snow, extensive and varied skiing for all levels and the fantastic views it enjoys.
We were attracted to Arc 1800 because of its extensive facilities and amenities and its convenient location within the skiing area.
Our apartment is close to the facilities but situated in a quieter area.
