Perfect well equipped & maintained apartment on a quiet road, 2 mins walk from piste, chairlift, bar, restaurant, bakery, shop & ski hire. Meribel Village is a lovely place to stay. You are away from the sometimes overwhelming hustle and bustle of Meribel Centre yet you have fantastic facilities directly on hand. The apartment has everything you need for cooking, we cooked two nights. The south east facing balcony has a selection of outdoor furniture, you do lose the sun quite early on but how lovely to sit out here! It was clean and beds were made up on arrival which we appreciated. Just to be aware that collecting the key if you arrive other than by car can be a bit tricky as it needs to be picked up in Raffort. If you are driving, or even arriving and leaving by taxi, no problem…. if you were on a bus as a lot of people are then you really need to make an alternative arrangement with the host. We had just the most amazing week, bit short on snow the first few days but we know the area very well, then three days of snow at the end of our stay, There seemed to be someone around to clear the snow on the second day of snowfall which was badly needed as there are steps to and from this property which with the amount of snow had disappeared & made descending in ski boots and carrying skis exciting!
