Gassons View is a quintessential Cotswold stone cottage which sleeps eight guests, in four well-appointed bedrooms, with two family bathrooms. Throughout the cottage is a plethora of charming original features including a cosy open fireplace. These period features have been combined with a modern and airy kitchen complete with a skylight and bi-fold doors letting in ample natural light. Outside, the patio is a little suntrap, ideal for alfresco dining in the warmer months and relaxing with loved ones. Gassons View is located in the pretty countryside village of Filkins, an idyllic location for a countryside escape with one medium sized dog.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 8 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

On street parking is available on the road in front of the property
1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

Please be aware that this is a period property with steep, winding staircases and low ceilings with restricted head height in bedrooms 2 and 4 and also in part of the kitchen
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Please note that Gassons View is best suited to peaceful, family-style stays. Please take consideration whilst booking as the property is not appropriate for parties, hen or stag groups, or events of any kind​

Gassons View has a lovely courtyard for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
