Our two story lake home is on Lake Nancy which is a 772 acre lake located in Minong, Wisconsin. It's known for it's clean water for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, and outstanding fishing such as largemouth bass, rock bass, walleye, musky, northern pike,crappie, blue gill & more. If you catch a nice fish and want it mounted, we have a taxidermist that we recommend in our welcome guide book so you can catch and release yet cherish the memories by having it mounted. He does replica mounts so all you have to do is take the picture, measure fish length and width of fish and let it go. We have a pier for your convenience for access to the water for boating, swimming, & fishing. The pier is extended with a bench for easy access to our pontoon boat all ready to cruise, our pier accommodates the fisherman too. Walk out onto the amazing deck that wraps around the house, giving a spectacular view of the lake and it's breathtaking scenery.

Whether you are bird watching, taking in the scenery, or just want to sit and relax, this is your destination, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the deck or out on the dock. The star constellation is pretty amazing too and very clear as you can see the Milky Way. Enjoy a small campfire making hot dogs, roasting marshmallows, or making smores, to relax in the evening hours. We've experienced the northern lights first hand and it's unbelievable. Use the pathway to get to the lake, we installed more stairs and railing for easier access for kids and the elderly. The pathway is lit up at night making it easy to make your way to the campfire or for the catfish enthusiast fishing off the pier.

Enjoy the amazing wildlife surrounding you such as the Bald Eagles soaring the sky, going down for a fish or you may just catch them perched on a branch in the pine tree. Hear the Common Loons making their beautiful undeniable call during the day or at night, Whip-poor-wills delighting your ears with soothing melodies in the evening, & the Pileated Woodpeckers flying about along with many other beautiful birds. There are two Public boat landings, one is a block away and the other one located in deep lake few minutes away. There's a public sand bar also just few minutes away to wade in the water, play games or just float, fun for ALL!

Our downstairs is fully finished with log cabin look, a bar, table & chairs for games or cards, comfortable couches to relax reading your favorite book to make your stay unforgettable. The downstairs has a door to walk out onto the lake-front patio view.
Driveway is blacktop, spacious enough for several vehicles, plus garage access if needed. The driveway is plowed during the winter season.

Available to rent minimum 4 night stay from September (Labor Day weekend) through May (Memorial weekend). Peak season minimum 7 days a week, Saturday to Saturday May (after Memorial Day weekend ) through end of August. (unless last weekend runs into Labor Day then will do 4 days Minimum for the Labor Day weekend).

Minong is a cute little town, it has A&W Restaurant if you're up for root bear float, ice cream or a good hamburger, has a grocery store for last minute dinner or snack needs, and few other eatery places for your convenience. It;s home of the Jack Links beef jerky so you can get stocked on all your favorite jerky at the grocery store in town. If you are looking for something little bit larger, Spooner and Hayward isn't that far and we have brochures provided so you can plan your vacation.
