Hi Natalie, your review is obviously very disappointing to me and I hope you had a good time in Brides les Bains and the trois vallees nevertheless. I have the apartment professionally cleaned after each guest and have passed your comments onto my cleaning company who have replied and are happy with the level of cleaning carried out, particularly in the bathroom which they say always comes up sparkling. It is a shame that the previous guest who used the oven did not clean it and I have asked my cleaner to sort this even though it should not be their responsibility to do so. I have had a guest family cook a Christmas dinner with it so it's really not that small and you also have the hob and a microwave to cook the vegetables. I cannot provide quilts or sheets as I cannot control the laundering of these that would be required. The red blankets have always been ok when I've been there and do get cleaned a few times each season and I've instructed this to happen again following your observations. My welcome email gives the clearest possible guidance on both the car park, the building and the TV so I don't understand your confusion here. The TV has over 700 channels installed but it is sometimes necessary to re-install them if French TV satellite have done upgrades but I obviously cannot control this aspect.

I am very disappointed by your review. I understand that you could not, initially, find the parking despite the details being in the Welcome email I had sent you and you did have the remote for it, once you realised which it was. The cleaning of the apartment is done professionally by the lady you spoke to so I will forward her your comments. The fire alarm is a legal requirement but I will also ask her if it can be made less sensitive, better safe than sorry though. The key can be left in the key safe for whomever returns to the apartment first, you do not need to take it with you. One key ought to be sufficient for a studio if you do this.

Thank you for your review, in response:- 1) Yes, I respond in English to ensure that I communicate accurately but vrbo offers an immediate translation of all messages; 2) The apartment is professionally cleaned after each stay but I cannot control active spiders weaving webs during your stay, especially outside, on the balcony; 3) Since your stay, the blankets have been, again, professionally cleaned and I'm sorry that you found these unsatisfactory; 4) All the TV channels had been installed previously. You simply had to ensure that the correct input on the remote was selected. No other guest, in 13 years of renting out, has had a problem with this; as soon as I knew you had a problem accessing the channels, I did everything in my power to get help but, in truth, you could have simply selected the correct input channel and you would not have needed outside assistance for which I had to pay; 5) The Sky dish on the balcony has now been removed to make more space for my guests and the sockets have been, once again, re-fitted to the wall; this is a studio and there is enough room for four people to sit around the table on the balcony; 6) There is a large oven, in one of the cupboards, which I bought specially for the apartment and one family was able to cook their Christmas dinner in this. It is a shame that you didn't locate it or ask the question;

Thank you for your review. Myself and my fellow owners have been fighting with the operating agency about the night entrance as this used to be open all the time. They have agreed to change it to a code system and, hopefully, this will happen soon. The instructions in my email gave codes for the other entrances and, to my knowledge, these codes work 24 hours. Regarding the kitchen, sadly, some guests have obviously taken some of the utensils (there were scissors that I had purchased) and I will review these and replace, as necessary (for four people) on my next visit.

The access was changed by the landowners without permission of the owners and we are currently trying to get them to change it back as we understand the first day hassle.
