Maison des 'Etoiles is an architectural masterpiece sitting on the northern face of the Gros Piton, a World Heritage Site, and is the highest Villa. The three-sided home is built of Greenheart wood native to the rain forest and volcanic rock which bubbled to the surface millions of years ago. If you love to go natural, this is the vacation home of your dreams. The home is artistically decorated with carvings from local artists which blend into the rich deep wood grains of the Greenheart. This is a truly unique home which you will only experience once in a lifetime.

The expansive view from the villa's multiple decks unveil one of the world's famous World Heritage Sites, consisting of the heavenly blue Caribbean Sea, the cliff of the Gros Piton and the majestic Petit Piton. The two Piton Mountains are the symbols for St. Lucia and Maison des 'Etoiles is enveloped in this spectacularly beautiful mountainous setting. A true Nature Lovers Paradise!

The home has an expansive living room with a volcanic waterfall as its central theme, one master bedroom with its own sitting deck and full bathroom, and two guest rooms which share a second bathroom. The second bedroom also has its own sitting area and spectacular view. All bedrooms enjoy a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and Sky. A full-sized dining room seats eight as candlelight flickers in the light ocean breeze. The bathrooms are a combination of volcanic rock and natural wood. Enjoy a sizzling hot shower while hearing the birds singing outside. There is a third-story tower which can be used as a sitting area or sleeping area. At night reach out and touch the personal star you are making a wish on.

Newly remodeled Kitchen is a chief's dream. Our guest consistently rave about Mary's cooking for them. Come and enjoy a relaxing vacation with wonder local food being cooked for you if you are interested.

The villa and the view were incredible! Mary's welcome meal was by far the best meal we had during our visit to St. Lucia. Pius was a great help with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. It was great to have him available to drive us to some of our destinations. Mary and Pius made us feel welcome and took good care of us.

The listing pictures are beautiful but the actual property & views are better!David- the owner answered all of our questions quickly and was great to work with.We didn't rent the car from the airport.We rent the car and driver -Pius from David.It was the best decision we made. He was very polite, prompt and had great restaurant suggestions . Mary's dinner was delicious she also kept the property very clean.Not too many bugs .

We loved our stay at the house of the stars. When we arrived, Maria had made us a wonderful dinner St. Lucia style. Pius was a lifesaver for us because our rental car that we had booked months ago was not available. December is high season and all rental cars have been spoken for once we had arrived at the airport. Luckily, Pius was able to take us to restaurants and anywhere we needed to go. The house makes me feel one with nature. What a great escape from our normal hustle bustle that we have in Houston, Texas. Thank you so much for a wonderful accommodation, and hosts that went above and beyond for us.

Wow! This "House of Stars" was beyond expectations. The host was very helpful, answering any questions. Don't be concerned about open air concept. No bugs, only critters were family of little lizards prevalent all over Caribbean. Pius and Mary were jewels in the crown of this awesome place. Major tip..we always rent a car in our travels and did so this time. We wish we had skipped that and just let Pius drive. He's excellent. Villa was well equipped and clean. Views were breathtaking and majestic! Has to be seen to be believed.

A place we’ll never forget!

What an incredible home for us for a handful of days - it is such a special and stunning spot, and we already miss the birds, lizards, rainforest chorus, rain showers, sunshine, and magnificent views.

What a view

The house was perfect! My wife and I felt at home from the moment we arrived. The view was unbelievable, nestled between the pitons. I was worried about the open concept, but after the first night, I was left waiting to fall asleep to the sound of the night in St. Lucia.

Spectacular!

Just book it!A unique property that went far beyond our high expectations. I am surprised this one hasn't been used in a VRBO ad yet, it's really that amazing. We'll never forget what it was like to wake up, listen to the wind and birds and look out at the Piton. Our only disappointment is that we are unlikely to find as nice and unique of a property ever again!

Amazing stay

The villa is perfectly situated on the side of Gros Piton with a beautiful view of the ocean and Petite Piton. Mary prepared a wonderful welcome dinner and Pius was available to help us with any needs around the property. On clear nights the view of the stars from the tower deck is breathtaking. I would recommend this home to any and everyone looking to enjoy a peaceful retreat in Saint Lucia!

Amazing stay at Maison des Etoiles

Our family of 5 stayed at Maison des Etoiles for 2 nights (kids age 3, 5, 8). The house is amazing! The views, the open air, the staff - so peaceful and relaxing, truly special. My favorite part was the master bedroom and waking up looking out to the Petit Piton - so magical. Only caveat for little kids: you do need to keep a close eye on them as building codes in St Lucia are not as strict. Mary was wonderfully welcoming and cooked a tasty meal for us on arrival day. Pious was so helpful and drove us around on our day out. We hope to be back soon!

This is an amazing structure built on Gros piton. The view is stunning from any level in the house. We love how the home blend in with the mountain as one and some rocks are incorporated in the building. Just really cool structure that you may never seen anything like this again in your life time. Yard is also well taken care of. The housekeeper Mary, caretaker Pious and gardener Lawrance are very attentive and friendly. The downside is the drive to the house is challenging. We rented a truck from the airport and it took us a long time to find the home. The road on the island are narrow, rocky and uneven so be prepared to take a long time to get anywhere. The bedrooms and living room are open to the outdoor so make sure to bring bug spray. Since the home is open to the nature, you can hear dogs, goats and roosters from distance, so if you enjoy animal sound, then it would be perfect. If you are not, then be sure to bring ear plugs. Also island store and restaurant hour can vary. And supplies are limited. We arrived on Sunday and we had hard time to find a restaurant that was open. Be sure to communicate well with Mary and Pious as what you want them to do and get. And be sure to bring enough cash to cover all the expenses. Overall, gorgeous property with stunning views.

My family's favorite house ever

We loved the house! I don't have much to add that isn't already covered in other reviews. The house is truly a work of art and as much as my family enjoyed exploring Saint Lucia, we all agreed that the house was the highlight of our trip. Thank you again to the owners for sharing this unique place.

Great spot! Amazing views, the open air home felt very close to nature. Our friend did get a lot of bites, but she said totally worth it! Seeing a rainbow over the Pitons as you wake up in your king bed is quite the experience! Check in was great and Mary and the staff were very helpful and polite. Highly recommend booking this paradise of a spot

Stunning and Unique

From the first correspondence with David to the experience at the property with Pius and Mary was a pleasure. Amazing views and lots to see on the island. Only negative was the 6 days of rain but it is a rain forest after all and did not keep us from doing any of our planned activities……

We took our boat from Ohio all the way down to St Lucia. We love adventure. When we arrived in St Lucia we anchored at Sugar Beach and saw the Villa from a distant. We have sailed around the world. Our Villa is in the hands of our staff who have been at the property since it was built. When you rent the Villa you are renting it from us not a management company who may have no personal interest in your stay.

Love at first sight. When we where looking on the Island and the minute we walked through the door we knew this was a special place and we where meant to own.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Calm, peaceful and constant exotic scenery. Near the beach and has a wonderful hike up the Gros Piton in it's backyard. Also close to shopping and great places to visit. Enjoy the pool and relaxed atmosphere of the surrounding area.
