Spacious, beautifully converted barn with exposed wooden beams, swimming pool

The property is a spacious (350 sq.) stone built beautifully converted Barn with it's own swimming pool (13M x 5M) in a very large garden overlooking the valley with views to die for. Set in 6.5 hectares (16 Acres) of land, mostly wooded with fruit, nut trees and a pond. It is a secluded property (not visible from the road), offering privacy and tranquillity and completely for your own use. You can lay in the outdoor hammock and gaze at the amazing night sky full of stars.
The nearest neighbour is about 1 Km way, so no one to disturb or invade your privacy. The property is a few minutes drive from the nearest village (which has a small supermarket, bakery, Bar, Pharmacy and ATM) and with plenty to see and do in the local area.
The area is surrounded by historical Bastide towns and villages with excellent restaurants and bars. Superb vineyards within the area, must be sampled.
The gourmet kitchen is modern with views and with plenty of equipment, fine bone China crockery, Zwilling cutlery, pans. Plenty of pool loungers are provided so you can relax and enjoy the pool area. Garden and pool contract are in place for regular cleaning and maintenance throughout the summer period.
1 hour from Bergerac airport and 1.5 hours from Toulouse airport.
The nearest village Beauville. It has a very popular night market on Friday in the months of July and August. Starting around 7 PM, it consist of tables and chairs in the village square surrounded by food and wine vendors, there is also entertainment, normally a band.

A total treat!We felt the house just kept giving - so well equipped with everything you might need for entertainment, catering and relaxation - a home from home with the bonus of beautiful views, sunsets, pool and tranquillity - loved hearing the owls at night. Detailed information supplied before our stay and queries dealt with speedily. Thoroughly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Great property with great view

The property was very well equipped and furnished to make an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The high up position offered exceptional views across the woods and fields below and could be enjoyed from the swimming pool. Very quiet tucked away location making it very private and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Our host (Paul) was extremely helpful and always promptly replied to any messages that were sent. Would thoroughly recommend this property and we would definitely consider returning.

Super Family stay

Petrussan is an absolutely delightful property in a stunning location. It is beautifully furnished and equipped and the whole family felt it was our best holiday rental yet. The outdoor dining area, proximity of the pool, closeness of the games room and beer fridge, amazing sunsets and total privacy amounted to a particularly relaxing and enjoyable break. Excellent place 5*

2 families stayed 4 adults 6 children, after our long drive the sat nav took us straight there as owner stated. On arrival the drive was well worth it, the house is amazing stunning huge, private secure for the kids lots of land and plenty of room in the house to hideaway if that's what you want, the pool was great size we could all get in, played games, everything we needed was there. would definitely recommend and return. loved it, amazing views and quiet. loved the kitchen, beautiful, cant say enough positive things about it.Mx

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison en pierre bien équipée,avec sa très grande piscine La maison isolée surplombe une vallée avec une très belle vue à 360 °et c'est un lieu de de grande tranquillité. Mais puisque rien n'est parfait dans ce monde quelques petits regrets quand même : Il faudrait je pense préciser dans l'annonce que ce bien est plutôt destiné à une clientèle anglaise ; la télévision n'émet qu'en langue anglaise, tous les livres et les cassettes mis gracieusement à disposition sont également en Anglais. Autres petits désagréments la disposition des salles de bains et, mais nous le savions avant de partir la taille des lits ; dans de belles grandes chambres des lits doubles en 150 c'est dommage. Surtout pour la plus belle chambre qui dispose de sa salle de bains ou se trouve le plus petit lit.

En général, environ 95 % des clients sont anglais, donc le matériel de divertissement est en anglais. La plupart des livres sont laissés par les invités, c'est pourquoi ils sont en anglais.

J’avais beaucoup cherché, et j’ai trouvé la maison idéale

Merveilleux endroit, superbe maison, calme absolu, vue splendide, joli petit village perché de Beauville à 5 mn en voiture Ne cherchez plus, c’est là qu’il faut aller! Paul, merci pour tout, mais si vous voulez vraiment la satisfaction totale de vos locataires, changez au moins le matelas de la chambre du fond. La qualité du coucher ne correspond pas à la qualité du reste de cette très belle maison... Ah oui! Il faudrait placer en bas un adaptateur pour relancer le signal du wifi, inaccessible dans les chambres. But anyway, it’s been unforgettable... Patrick

Lovely house in Beauville

A fabulous house with lovely pool in peaceful location with great views. Very well equipped kitchen; great showers. The only thing we’d change is to have bigger beds, a bit on the narrow side! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful view and very quiet 5/5

Our holiday was during a very hot period where temperatures reached over 40C, so it was very much appreciated that there were fans in every room and the fridge dispensed ice. In fact, the villa is really well stocked with everything you could ever need. The pool is large compared to other places where we have stayed and the view fantastic. Paul, the owner couldn't have been more helpful in answering some of our questions before we had arrived very promptly. If you like quiet (apart from crickets and frogs) and privacy you couldn't pick a better spot. The leaflets and info inside the villa could do with being updated but there is always the tourist information office in neighbouring Beauville if you're looking for things to do. The night market in Beauville is definitely a 'must do'. 5 stars!

Séjour superbe et tranquille/ Superb and quiet stay

Nous avons passé 3 semaines excellentes et inoubliables dans cette belle propriété située en pleine nature avec une vue magnifique. La maison est vraiment spacieuse et pleine de charme, cuisine parfaitement équipée, on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans la maison. Nos deux petits enfants et nous mêmes avons bien profité tous les jours de la très belle piscine sécurisée et ses nombreux transats. Gary et Lisa, très sympathiques ont été très réactifs à nos demandes. La région est très belle, on était vraiment tristes de partir et nous espérons revenir prochainement. We spent three wonderful and unforgettable weeks in this lovely property surrounded by nature with beautiful views. This is a very spacious and charming house, the kitchen is very well equipped, We could find everything we needed in the house. Ourselves and our two grand-children really enjoyed each day the nice, large and secured swmming pool, we also appreciated the deckchairs. Gary and Lisa were very nice and helpful. The area is absolutely beautiful, we were so sad that we had to leave we really hope to come again

lovely property and location

This is a lovely property - plenty of room both inside and outside. Fantastic views and plenty of villages and activities to visit in the area. Paul was very helpful with arranging taxi to/from airport for my inlaws. We really enjoyed our stay.

Prachtige ligging. Zwembad 'with a view'. Ruim koel huis met goed uitgeruste keuken. Amerikaanse koelkast, pooltafel en DVD collectie werden erg geapprecieerd. Mooie wandelingen mogelijk in de buurt voor de getrainde wandelaar. Vele mooie dorpjes te bezoeken in de buurt. Wij hadden een super verblijf! Thank you Paul!

Wonderful house, beautiful setting

We were a party of seven. We had a fantastic stay. The house is lovely and spacious with everything we needed for a great holiday. It is very well equipt with plenty of crockery and cooking stuff. The pool is fantastic and the area is beautiful. Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed. Highly recommend for an unforgettable holiday.

Beautiful and peaceful area, lovely house.

Such a peaceful area...the photos don't do it justice- you could stare out at the valley all day. House is really spacious and well equipped. Felt really at home there. Local area v quiet so you do need a car to get to supermarket etc. Such a special place to spend a few wks. Would love to go back.

Lovely house for a holiday

The house was in good condition with lots of room inside and out. Very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Big kitchen with sitting area, another dining table, two soft sitting areas, pool table etc. Outside two sitting areas with tables, lovely pool and great views. Very quiet part of France with tidy villages, nice places to eat great place, top quality !!! markets and friendly locals.

I am a computer consultant and my partner is a doctor, and we use the house as our second home. We have put a lot of effort into this property as we like to enjoy it when when are here, and we hope you will also.

We came to this area to visit a friend, we had never been to this part of France before. We feel in love with the area, and decided this is where we would like to live.
We bought the barn, because it was spacious and tranquil, and it is ideal for big family and friends get together. We loved the views. and because there were no neighbours close by, we knew we will not be disturbed and we will not disturb anyone.
The property is private and secluded, but with easy access to shops, airports, motorways and big cities.
There is fantastic social life in the area, where we feel totally immersed.
We enjoy the varied selection of excellent restaurants in the area, as it is in the gastronomic part of France.
Normally with friends we visit local vineyards where we sample and buy the local wines

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We like the tranquillity, privacy, space and the views.
We really enjoy having our dinner on the patio next to the swimming pool watching the sunset on warm summer evenings

When our friends and family visit, having a spacious property means we are not on top of each other, and there are parts of the house and garden one can go to for solitary moments/hours.

Sometimes we have rowdy parties to the early hours of the morning, with the full knowledge we are not disturbing the neighbours, as we don't have any.

In the months of July and August on a Friday evening, there is the night market, where chairs and tables are placed in the village (Beauville) square. On the edge of the square the locals sell food and wine. Normally there is a band for entertainment.
