Just off the beaten path our Cave Creek 1.25 acre place is pin drop quiet - yet just 4 minutes from Summit Plaza where there is a Safeway, CVS, restaurants and a gas stop. Close to mountain biking, hiking, all the prime golf courses, 7 minutes to downtown Cave Creek, and 20 minutes to downtown Scottsdale. High speedWi-fi, Sat TV's, a fully equipped kitchen and outside BBQ if you wish to cook at your place. Queen bed in master. Our place accommodates two comfortably. There are citrus trees here - if its season, help yourself. I’ve been continually told that this is the most well equipped and complete unit our guests have stayed in - we’ve worked diligently to make it so. The vast majority of folks who stay here are return guests. I’ve lived my life under promising and over performing - the hope is, you find it that way here too.

Curt, the host, was incredibly welcoming both by phone before we came and also in person. He is a kind and generous person. The Casita was lovely, comfortable, very quiet and removed from the hub bub you find at a resort or a hotel. It was near to many natural areas where we hiked and looked for birds. We would return.

Curt was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed. A very attentive host and not at all intrusive, just a nice feeling that you’re welcomed and cared for. The pool time was divine. There’s a nicely outfitted kitchen so I could make my healthy food, no takeout needed. I’ll definitely stay again!

From the minute you pull in the drive you know you just hit the jack pot. This is a perfect quite get away. Everything is immaculate. The host goes beyond being a host he makes sure that not only you are taken care of and even told me I was welcome to park my vehicle in the attached garage that he had cleaned out for it to stay there. The wild life is abundant from quail to rabbits and all kinds of birds. I will be coming back to this place I assure you.

Beautiful property - wonderful host

Short stay to attend family function in Scottsdale. Curt was extremely helpful with everything from the booking process through guiding us into the property and giving us a thorough introduction to all of the features and amenities of the casita. The casita is well provisioned with just about anything you could ever need. Obviously, lots of thought has gone into the preparation of this property. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Great experience!

Nice Place but Shared Pool

This place was very nice and the host was even nicer. The location is great. Cave Creek and Carefree are cute towns with many local artists and hiking trails. The nearby ATVing was amazing and right in the mountains. However, we thought the pool would be private. It's shared with the owner and not heated. Also, the hot tub has limited hours and can only be started through an app on the owner's phone. Overall, I would say it was a comfortable place and somewhere we could stay again, just not quite what we were expecting.

Only two drawbacks

Curt's property is a true gem - the best maintained of any VRBO we have ever used, by far. We are regulars here. The last quarter mile in on a dirt road is a slight drawback for some, perhaps. The new bed was entirely too firm for us, however. Neither of us got a decent rest. Book here if extra firm is your bed preference.

Fantastic

Had a great stay at a great rental house. Beautiful landscaping with a lot of comfortable outdoor seating areas. Nice view from the roof patio area. Having all of the switches clearly labeled was very helpful with the lights and fans.

Casita at Cave Creek

We stayed one week at this great Casita. The property was wonderful! Very clean and equipped with everything you can possibly need. But our host was the best. Curt was fantastic. He stressed from the start that he just wanted us to relax. He offered a lot of advice for dining, Hiking and other activities. We enjoyed hearing about some of his experiences experiences living in AZ. We’ll be back. Royce

We had such a great time here! Our vacation was a short one but there was so much to do in that time. Curt was amazing with his suggestions of things to do and see in the area. Best Casita in Cave Creek!!

This casita was fabulous, and Curt is an exceptional host!! The casita is clean, comfy, and in close proximity to everything needed! Curt has thought of everything when it comes to the casita, and is also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, restaurants, hiking, etc. We were very pleased with his recommendations! Our only complaint is that we didn't have more days to stay longer!! Easy to see why most people that stay here are return customers - we will be back for sure!!

Desert Escape

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Curt's desert casita. It is meticulously well kept and stocked for your every need, from, Bormioli Rocco glassware, Bosch appliances, Pete's Coffee in the pantry and the best (Charmin) toilet tissue. Beautifully appointed furniture made relaxing in the evenings after some awesome area hikes a joy. The courtyard has a beautiful pool and hot tub and the casita has a balcony with the most spectacular views of the desert and surrounding mountains. We loved the quiet, reclusiveness of this home (and no traffic) but in less than a mile you will find a large grocery store and restaurant's. A few more miles away you will find the quaint towns of Carefree and Cave Creek. Curt is full of knowledge of the area and you can tell he really loves his home and sharing it with others. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Curt, for a wonderful stay and we wish you well!

Comfortable casita

Curt’s place is just as described. It was very comfortable and extremely well-stocked. The property was lovely and the rooftop deck was a nice place to watch the sunset. Very quiet and somewhat out of the way. Although a good spot to head to hiking trails and with plenty of restaurants not far away.

Out of this world

Everything was perfect and it was just like it was your own casita. It had everything and Curt was an excellent host. Nothing was missing and it was a perfect time. Our only regret was not having more time at the location. Sunrise & sunset views from the view deck were breathtaking!!! Hope to do again. Curt could not have been better!!

Best stay ever in AZ

We couldn't have asked for more in our Cave Creek stay. Curt's casita was the perfect size for the two of us and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed breakfast poolside, afternoon dips in the pool and evening star gazing from the upper deck. The casita is located close to several hiking areas, restaurants and shopping areas. We truly couldn't ask for a better host. We certainly plan to return!

Born and raised in So. California. Moved to Utah and had a beautiful horse ranch for 20 years. And now, in Cave Creek, Arizona and I call this home and love it. I'm an outdoors kinda guy and this is "the spot" for anyone who has any interest in anything outdoors! The only limits are the limits of your imagination. My days are full and I could not ask for more.

I went to the Orme School here during the "70's and have an abundance of life long friends in the area. In fact, the Realtor that found this for me was a classmate of mine. This place has a completely private yard surrounded by a privacy wall and wonderful layout for a yard. I have an RV, so the large RV garage fit my needs just perfect. All I can say is that when you find it, sometimes you just know it and this has been the fortunate case for me.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This spot is awesome. The feeling of being "out there" yet 4 minutes away from all the necessities and amenities that you need. Freeway access is key around here and we are close to I-17 north for Sedona/ Flagstaff or about 15 minutes to the 101 for east/west/south travel. Living here on "the hill" is also 10 degrees cooler than downtown. Unique benefits? If you like the beauty of the desert and all it has to offer - it is here.
