This was another great stay at the Curious Bear Cabin. We just love Christmas time in the Smokies. It falls on our anniversary which makes extra special to us. The cabin is so welcoming as you first enter the door. My little fur baby Lola is always as comfortable here as she is at home. The furniture is comfortable throughout and the place is always clean every single time we visit. The hot tub is a must after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. Love the location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will absolutely be returning to the Curious Bear on our next trip! Thanks for the special touches and always making us feel welcomed.

This cabin is cozy, comfortable and quiet. It has all the amenities needed and is the perfect place to come back to after a day in the Smokie Mountains. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are both easily accessible from this location. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was very cozy and the fireplace was Heaven on the cool winter nights, the kitchen was pretty well stocked so I was able to cook some meals there, I wish we had better instructions on how to work the remotes

This cabin was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our 2 dogs. We were able to make meals when we didn't feel like eating out and found they had everything we needed to do so. The hot tub was great. The king bed we used was very comfortable. The location was perfect. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and to Pigeon Forge. It was private even though you could see other houses. The drive up to the house was a little daunting at first because of the narrow, winding nature, but we found that common for Gatlinburg. We were very pleased with the cabin and the owner was very responsive when I did have questions.

Amazing stay

I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and clean. The location was pretty centralized with most things in the area. Nice quiet and secluded. We will definitely visit again and this place will be on the top of the lists to try to get. Their hospitality was excellent. Very fast response. Can not wait to come back.

Repeat Stay at The Curious Bear!

Fantastic return to The Curious Bear and we couldn't be be happier or more relaxed. Clean and comfortable with great views from either deck and a short drive to everything!We can't wait to return!

The cabin for perfect for our family of four and a great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We echo many of the other positive reviews. One star remove for the neighborhood dog that barks like clockwork at 6:30am EVERY morning. We were woken up every morning of vacation due to this annoying dog and disrespectful owner. Sometimes the dog would only bark for around 5 minutes while one morning it barked continuously for around 45 min. This is no fault of the owner of the cabin but definitely impacted our enjoyment of our stay.

Awesome place to stay

Great location to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg . Easy to find. Property was clean, beds were comfortable. We saw a bear and a baby bobcat while sitting in the hot tub on the back deck . Hosts were extremely easy to get a hold of and so very sweet. Will come back again next year

Quiet retreat near lots of activity.

We had a wonderful week at the Curious Bear Cabin. Property was exactly as advertised and described. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and welcoming with many cozy/charming touches.

We started coming to the Smokies in 2006 and have come back every year since. We finally decided this is where we want to spend our retirement. But we still have some years until that happens so we decided to buy a cabin ourselves, With the hopes of staying and sharing it with others until we make the big move for good. We love everything about Tennessee & are so happy to share it with you

We chose this cabin in Gatlinburg because we love being close to the town and all the festivals and action, yet we are in in a private area secluded and surrounded by nature. You get the best of both worlds. We have been visiting Gatlinburg for 10 years now and there is always new and old things we cant wait to do each time we are here. You will love the area and all the things to do.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We fell in love with this home because of how private the location is yet you are 5 minutes to town. The cabin decks are a great place to sit with your morning coffee and breathe the mountain air. Being minutes to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and in the middle of nature its truly a wonderful place to relax and unwind
