Emplacement idyllique ! Vue imprenable !Le calme absolu au milieu des vignobles et de la nature.Organisation de notre arrivée, par la propriétaire, parfaite.Maison très agréable, beaucoup d'espace.S'agissant d'une ancienne bergerie, elle est cependant très peu lumineuse et n'offre de vue que sur une cour intérieure.La piscine est grande et très agréable. Le volet de celle-ci était cependant hors fonction lors de notre séjour.Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.Les points négatifs sont:- les extérieurs ne correspondent plus aux photos du site. La végétation, plantes et arbustes mériteraient un sérieux entretien.- Les meubles de jardin terrasse sont vieillissants- Le garage était inutilisable de par la présence d'une voiture dedans.- Tous les vélos étaient couverts de poussière et tous les pneus à plat.- Pas de climatisation dans la maison.Malgré ces points négatifs, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez passé un excellent séjour et nous vous remercions vivement pour vos commentaires constructifs. Je suis heureuse de vous informer que le volet roulant de la piscine, endommagé par un précédent locataire, a été réparé et est désormais parfaitement opérationnel. L'installation de la climatisation dans la maison sera terminée pour la saison 2027 ; un tout nouveau mobilier de jardin sera également disponible à cette période. Mon mari tond la pelouse et taille les haies chaque semaine. Comme dans une grande partie de l'Europe, nous avons subi des restrictions d'eau en raison des fortes chaleurs répétées ; il est donc regrettable que le jardin n'ait pas été à son avantage en août, lors de votre séjour (les photos du site montrent le jardin au mois d'avril). Nous replantons certaines zones et travaillons avec un spécialiste pour rendre le jardin plus résistant au changement climatique. Je suis vraiment désolée que des locataires précédents aient laissé les vélos sales et avec des pneus à plat. Nous les révisons au début de chaque saison et leur utilisation est gratuite. Nous espérons que nos hôtes les laisseront en bon état, tel qu'ils aimeraient eux-mêmes les trouver. Nous mettons volontiers le garage à la disposition des locataires sur simple demande. J'espère que ces précisions répondent à vos remarques et je vous remercie encore infiniment pour votre séjour.

L’emplacement, la vue fantastique sur les collines, les vignes, le Ventoux , la piscine, le boulodrome et l’accueil chaleureux avec plein de petites attentions : tout était parfait ! Vraiment une magnifique adresse.

Apaisant, panoramique et nature

Au beau milieu des collines Nyonaises, la bergerie superbement restaurée de Sarah et David offre un point de vue incroyable sur le mont Ventoux et ses alentours. La bergerie est parfaitement équipée pour 6 ou 8 personnes. C'est un excellent point de départ pour se balader à pied, en vélo ou pour profiter des richesses du terroir : caves, huileries et autres plaisirs ! Bien accueillie par Sarah, nous retenons l'adresse pour une prochaine escapade. Ou je la recommanderai sans problème ! (sauf peut-être pas à des jeunes parents avec enfants en bas âge, pour des questions de marches, terrasses et autres petits "pièges" pour des loulous qui commencent à marcher. Là, c'est le grand-père qui parle : ) En tout cas, nos amiset moi avons passé un somptueux WE : Merci Sarah et David !

Un week-end idyllique dans un cadre à couper le souffle !

Sarah est une hôtesse d’une grande gentillesse. Ses petites attentions nous ont fait grandement plaisir. La maison est vraiment conforme à la description, c’est à dire magnifique avec un cadre à couper le souffle ! Nous reviendrons, cela est certain.

Magnifique maison

La maison est très agréable, très bien située et les propriétaires très accueillants. Nous avons passés en famille un très plaisant séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir aux beaux jours.

Delightful

La Bergerie is a beautifully restored barn in a very rural area surrounded by hilly countryside with vineyards, olive groves and forested areas. The barn has been converted very tastefully and offers very comfortable accommodation with a large kitchen/dining area with a vaulted ceiling; a large comfortable sitting room; a very attractive master 2xdouble bedroom with a partitioned shower room; a further double and a twin room, all ensuite. The kitchen is very generously equipped with the facilities to do serious cooking if required, and reasonably efficient wifi is available. Everything was in good condition and spotlessly clean. Outside is quite spacious and is not overlooked by the hosts, who live in the adjoining (but quite separate) farmhouse. The heated pool is a good size, uniform depth of about 140cm. It is not sheltered so can feel a bit exposed if it is windy. It can be seen from the road so is overlooked but the road is very quiet so this is not really any problem. There is plenty of outside furniture for eating and relaxing. Vinsobres is a delightful little Cotes du Rhone wine producing village about 4Km to the south with a wonderful traditional french cafe where we had a superb meal one evening (check opening times and reserve before going) and Venterol,7Km to the north, also has a cafe where we had an equally good meal - again check times particularly out of season. The hosts were most helpful when we needed help and advice but were in no way intrusive, allowing us to get on on our own otherwise. They provide a comprehensive handbook for the house and surrounds, including guidance for a number of walks, mostly starting from the house - we did several of these and found them excellent - fairly easy walking mainly on tracks with wonderful views of the countryside around. There is also a lot of information regarding local attractions, facilities and restaurants. We would very happily stay here again and would recommended it as a very comfortable house to stay in for 6 or perhaps 8 people, if two couples didn't mind sharing the main bedroom.

Excellent.

Stunning location. The barn is very attractively and comfortably furnished, with great attention to detail - beautiful soaps, firelighters for the BBQ, etc. Very well equipped with all mod cons, and David and Sarah are the most delightful and welcoming hosts. Plenty to do in the area, great local walks, and Nimes airport easy to use. We would love to visit again. Highly recommended.

Simply stunning accommodation and location!

We arrived at the property after a long drive through France and were immediately overwhelmed by the views which literally surround the property. Sarah and David were welcoming hosts and the pool and property far ether than the pictures suggested. We loved the local walks, the superb wine tasting (keep an eye out for an evening tasting in the local towns and villages as you get a great opportunity to sample the best local vineyards can offer), and the peace and quiet. The accommodation was comfortable and provided everything we could have wished for. Great days out are in easy reach and there is a really comprehensive local information pack kindly collated by the owners. We loved kayaking under the Pont Du Gard in particular. The hosts home faces the opposite way to the barn and it feel like we were completely alone which allowed the children to noisily enjoy the pool in peace. Already planning our next stay here- a sublime holiday where we felt welcomed from the second we arrived.

Superbe

Nous avons passé quatre jours incroyables. Le site, la maison tout est ravissant. La restauration de la bergerie est vraiment très réussie, grand salon très bien aménagé, cuisine fonctionnelle, les chambres avec chacune leur salle de bains et toilettes, absolument rien à redire. La décoration intérieure est vraiment réussie et de très bon gout. l’extérieur est tout aussi magnifique avec plein de petits endroits pour s’isoler, lire au calme, faire la sieste. A quatre couples nous ne nous sommes jamais gênés. De la terrasse ou de la piscine il y a une vue magnifique sur le mont Ventoux et les vignes. Nos hôtes Sarah et David sont vraiment très aimables et extrêmement discrets. Un rosé, un rouge, gâteaux et olives à l’arrivée, puis petits savons au départ, des intentions vraiment très sympathiques. Merveilleuses vacances et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine!

Stunning in every aspect

We spent an amazing few days here. The location is simply sublime and the accommodation exceeded expectations. The house has been sympathetically restored and offers every mod con that you need on holiday whilst never feeling just like another holiday rental. Kitchen / diner is perfect for families and opens up onto a wonderful terrace overlooking Mont Ventoux. It gets the sun in the morning so outdoor breakfast is a must. The living area is big enough for 6-8 people whilst never feeling cramped and even has British channels for those of you who like a home from home. The three bedrooms are biggger than most people's living rooms with wonderful ensuites that means everyone has their privacy. Outdoors just carries on the relaxing homely feel. There is a large table for al fresco dining next to the superb heated pool with views to die for. There is a play area for children with swing, slide climbing frame plus a quiet courtyard that's just perfect for an early evening BBQ. All this set amongst lavender fields and vineyards that carry on for miles. A special mention to hosts Sarah and David. They were very accommodating during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them however they also recognised the importance of making their guests feel that they were alone on their holidays and we never even noticed that they were in the property next door. Having rented many properties with similar setups it was lovely to find hosts that appreciated a families need for independence and peace, whilst also being available if there were any issues (which there weren't!). One of the best holidays we've ever had and we'll definitely return next year!

Superb Accommodation - Recommended!

A wonderful property - amazing views; clean, beautiful and spacious interior; lovely pool; plenty of outdoor seating; even a jeu de boules! This has to rate as one of the best places we have stayed during our many visits to France. The owners go out of their way to welcome you and are extremely accommodating - we would definitely recommend, though take caution with toddlers due to the steep garden area.

Perfect holiday in sunny, beautyful surroundings!

This modernized barn is spacy, cozy, well equipped and very clean. We stayed for two weeks, and we did not miss anything during our stay. There is ample room for eight people, and every bedroom has a private bath room. From most windows there is a spectacular view. The pool is very nice and while swimming you can enjoy the beautiful wine yards and mountains. The house is situated near interesting villages, and it is easy to plan different trips. The hosts are very friendly, and we received a lot of helpful information before we arrived. We definitely recommend this place!

Great quiet getaway

A great well equipped barn conversion with ample space and great facilities. Recently converted so very clean and well decorated. Swimming pool is right outside the property and has amazing views across the vineyards. Very quiet and private so perfect for relaxing.
