10 seconds from the overground, 2 minutes from the tube.

The Space

Located in a private building on a quiet residential street a spacious open plan kitchen and living room welcomes you. There's a good sized double bedroom that sleeps 2 and a posh leather sofa bed that also sleeps 2.

There's an up to date kitchen diner that comfortably accommodates 4 people around it. All the usual kitchen stuff, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and plenty of plates and cutlery - with tea, coffee, milk provided. There is also a washing machine and dryer.

The bathroom is recently refurbished and modern with a large bath and shower with lots of fluffy towels and shampoo and soap provided.

There is also a fantastic, professionally designed garden perfect for sitting with a glass of wine and chilling out - but please no parties!! The neighbours will not be happy!


Guest Access

There's a smart TV and stereo with iPod dock in the living area but please no partying after midnight - I'd like to stay friends with the neighbours! And there's hundreds of art, design and sports books for you peruse.

There's free, reliable, high speed Wi-Fi.

I'll supply lovely Egyptian cotton sheets and as much bedding as you require. And in the bathroom there's complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner, and fluffy bath towels.

The Neighbourhood

Set in a quiet residential street just a minutes walk around the corner from Camden's bustling market, bars and restaurants. Full of stalls and vintage shops you can easily lose a day here.
Famous Camden occupants have included Charles Dickens, Dylan Thomas, Alan Bennett, Amy Winehouse, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Not far is Hampstead Heath (take the overground at Camden Road station), 790 acres of parkland with 3 open air swimming areas. Regents Park and Primrose Hill offer amazing panoramic views of London - only a walk away.

Getting Around

Transport links are excellent. 2 minutes to Camden tube (Northern Line). 1 minute to Camden Road overground which takes you places like Hampstead (for the Heath) and Stratford with it's huge Westfield shopping centre. Numerous buses to the West End (Oxford Circus is 15 minutes on the C2). And there's also a nice walk down the canal to Kings Cross that will take you 20 minutes. You are never more than 30 minutes from any of the popular tourist destinations.

Great place close to everything via tube or rail. Lloyd was super responsive when the Americans had a battle with the British lock on the door ;). No huge list of cleaning etc required before we left. Clean place lots to do in area and beyond. Would recommend Lloyd as a host.

The flat is in a FANTASTIC location! This is our 3rd trip to London in as many years and this is my favorite. Overground is 2 mins, Underground about 7. Sainsbury's is 5 min walk, many shops and restaurants. Everything you need to cook is available. Had a hiccup with the Netflix which Lloyd sorted immediately. We will definitely be back.

Wat een heerlijke plek in Camden! Dichtbij alle voorzieningen: bus, metro, supermarkt en restaurants om de hoek, ontbijt voor de deur en typische Londense mash en pie aan de overkant van de straat! We gingen een beetje terug in de tijd met de ruime cd en dvd collectie van de eigenaar maar konden ook gewoon streamen op de tv! Het smalle bed slaapt heerlijk ook al zijn we zelf een king size bed gewend! Kortom we beleven dit huis aan. Snelle verbindingen naar het centrum en de buiten wijken van Londen.

Perfect place to stay!

We loved our time in Lloyd's apartment. Being in the heart of Camden Town it was close to everything... pubs, restaurants, the tube, grocery shops, all within walking distance. The flat was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed for our week long stay. Highly recommend.

Top Wohnung, nicht weit weg von U-Bahn Station und Supermarkt. Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Auch diebKüche war gut ausgestattet. Der Besitzer meldete sich immer sehr schnell und war sehr hilfsbereit.

Cool place to stay in london

Sehr gute Lage in Camden, perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing, Einkauf und Ausgehen. Nette, stylishe Wohnung im Souterrain, sogar mit kleinem Garten. Die Dusche braucht recht lange, bis sie warm wird, es gibt keine Steckdose im Bad, ansonsten alles gut.

Great host, great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cool apartment. Very good location with dozens of bus connections and the tube and overground around the corner. The apartment is well equipped, including helpful things such as salt, pepper, sandwich bags, shower gel. Lloyd answered every message within minutes - thank you!

Great Place to Stay

The Camden house was a great home base for our 10 days in London. The double bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking supper every night. The grocery stores were nearby as well as the tube and bus stations. The house could have been cleaner around the edges, but in general it was fine. Camden is definitely an interesting neighborhood filled with many people, and we felt safe during our stay. Also, the house is very quiet considering that is so near the hub of activity. Thanks Lloyd!!

Comfortable and well-situated apartment

This apartment is roomy and perfect for a week long vacation in London. The living room area is ample and comfortable. I personally loved the rock n' roll vibe of the decor. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for your stay, if you want to stay in and cook you can. All the utensils, plates and implements are there to make a meal. The bedroom is roomy and has a comfortable bed and leads out to garden area. The bathroom is roomy and has a nice big tub, which is great to soak in at the end of full day of exploring London. There is a washer and dryer which is great so you can go home with clothes that are ready to unpack and put away. The apartment smelled clean and was clean. Neighborhood was quirky in a good way. There are lots of great places to eat, more than you can get to in a one week visit. The tube and bus stop are VERY nearby and they connect to every area within London and both can connect you to the Euston station, which connects you to the national rail system. The owner, Lloyd was very responsive and was super flexible with arrival and departure time. I recommend this flat if you are headed into London. I would definitely rent here again for a future visit.

Home away from home!

We loved being able to cook our own mesls and wash & dry our clothes! It’s the simple things that make a stay relaxing and enjoyable. Location was excellent, caught buses everywhere as this is my preference. Owner Lloyd was fabulous to deal with & we were able to get into our flat early which was great.

We had a great stay at this property; enough room for a family of 4 and all the amenities we needed. Perfect base to explore London and thriving Camden Town. Great local pubs to have an afternoon pint. Lloyd was a perfect host communication was easy & we appreciated the earlier check in after a very long flight.

Près des transports en commun

Le principal atout de cet appartement est sa proximité au transport en commun. 5 minutes à pied de la station Underground de Camden Town qui se rend au centre de Londres en moins de 15 minutes. La station Overground de Camden Road est à moins de 100m de l'appartement et permet de contourner le centre pour se rendre au Parc Olympique, à Kew Garden et même au train allant à Windsor. Ajoutez qu'il y a plusieurs lignes de bus dont une (la ligne 29) qui nous amène à Trafalgar square. Le réseau de transport public londonien est cher et prendre le bus est une bonne alternative au métro quand on utilise la Oyster card. L'appartement lui-même est propre et fonctionnel. Peut-être un peu petit par contre pour une famille de 4 avec des adolescents puisque le 2e lit est un divan-lit qui se déplie, ce qui réduit la taille du salon. Cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu'il faut pour faire à manger. Il y a une épicerie (Sainsbury's) à 4 minutes de marche. Camden Town est un quartier vivant où vous trouverez tous les commerces, restos et pubs dont vous aurez besoin quand vous ne serez pas en train de visiter. Nous n'avons pas vu Lloyd, le propriétaire, mais il a été accessible rapidement par courriel/texto quand nous avons eu à communiquer avec lui. Nous n'aurions aucune hésitation à retourner à cet appartement.

Great For a Long Term Stay

I stayed for a full month. Easy access to a huge grocery store and plenty of bus stops and tube station. The flat was fully equiped with everything you need you "live" there, including a washer and dryer (a lot of places only have a washer but no dryer). About the only thing I would suggest as room for improvement would be the bedding. The bed and pillows are hard and lumpy and probably should be replaced. The linens and what not were fine.

Great flat, great location!

Location is superb. Off the main road so it’s not noisy from foot or vehicular traffic but so close to every where you want to go in Camden. Camden Town tube is a half kilometer away. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and shops at your fingertips. The flat itself is fantastic. Nicely arranged, and the rooms are ample. Very good security as there is a locked gate to access the building. The flat has all of the amenities needed for both short term and long term stays. Communication with the owner was excellent. I was, in fact, moving to London and the owner provided sound advice for all of my queries and pointed me to resources to explore further. Highly recommend!
