The house is situated 5 minutes from Padstow Harbour with all its lovely restaurants and shops. It is very modern with lots of added features, including a modern sun room and kitchen and a cozy lounge. The garden has views over the estuary to Rock and garden furniture and a swing seat. A very sociable house but with a cosy lounge to get away from it all as well.
The kitchen is a real cook's kitchen with lots of quality appliances and kitchen equipment, including a built in coffee machine, Quooker boiling water tap and waste disposal unit..

A lovely property in an excellent location close to Padstow harbour. Plenty of modern amenities and excellent communication prior to the stay. Would recommend this property to any family and when we return to Padstow we would look to stay here again.

Beautiful home with absolutely everything you would need. Little touches make this place so ‘extra’ such beautiful decor and a fantastic location. A beautiful home in a beautiful area of the country. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. Fantastic location only 5 minutes walk into Padstow and some great walks and beaches. The house had everything that you could ask for. I stayed in many places in and around Padstow over a number of years and the information/welcome pack provided prior to arrival by Hazel at Vrbo was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Hazel. I did not have any reason to contact Vrbo during the stay but I’m sure that they would have promptly responded to any queries. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Really lovely house with fantastic views and in a great location. Its a 10 minute stroll to Tesco or less that that in the other direction to Padstow harbour. The owner was very responsive to questions and gave us ideas for walks and places to visit. We did one out to a cream tea place we'd never visited before and never would have found on our own.The house is well kitted out with everything you need and more. It took me a while to find the 'secret' cutlery draws but otherwise all good! The layout was particularly good for us with a dog as there is a door into the kitchen area from the hall so we could keep him confined to there - ie not able to get upstairs, out the front door or into the seperate carpeted lounge.

Great holiday house in Padstow

The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and furnished. Great location with just a short walk into the centre of Padstow. We were amazed at all of the amenities provided, including the lovely coffee maker. It probably was the best equipped holiday house we have ever stayed in. My husband was enthralled by the technology options and was happy to play with the Sonos speakers/Apple TV/firesticks. This was particularly helpful as we did experience some pretty awful weather! In summary, a beautiful house in a lovely location - highly recommended.

Beautiful house in Padstow

The house is exactly as described, better in fact! It is huge! The rooms are fitted with all modern gadgets, so will be loved by the tech savvy. Back Garden is big, wirh a view of the beach. Beds are super comfy with plenty of storage, plus lots of storage space in kitchen and a huge double fridge freezer.Also, the host, Hazel is helpful and answers any queries incredibly quickly.Will give a heads up; the house is in a steep hill, so less abled people may find it difficult. There is parking, but, again, it is on a steep hill, so requires a hill start and strong brakes to park.Would 100% recommend

Wonderful Cottage in a great location

The cottage is in a great location in Padstow only a short walk away from the centre. Hazel has thought of every single thing for your comfort in her home. The welcome pack explains all the appliances in detail so you know exactly what you are doing and yes Hazel we love your dishwasher as much as you do :-) The sofa and beds are so comfortable and the house was immaculate. Thank you for the welcome pack and the lovely cup of coffee every morning. The only thing that literally put a dampener on our holiday was the weather. Thank you again Hazel for your home from home and if we return to Padstow we know exactly where we will be staying if available.

What a wonderful place to stay in this beautiful part of the world. Best part is, you get to retreat to this amazing house, with everything you need ..and I mean everything and then plenty of things you never thought you needed, but now have in your Amazon basket! From start to finish this was the loveliest experience, the stay, the host and the memories. Just perfect!!

Amazing house

We had a lovely week in Padstow. The house is ideally located as could walk into town. Street was really quiet and easily found a space to park if we ventured out. House had everything we needed and was really well equipped. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon.

A fantastic home from home!

What a wonderful holiday! The house couldn’t have been better equipped with wonderfully comfortable beds, great kitchen fixtures and a fab garden to relax in. What really stood out for us was the cleanliness which in current times is very reassuring. It really was spotless! The location is great - easily walkable to town and beach (even with a 5yr old) - but far enough away from the crowds over the bank holiday weekend. Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday!

Fantastic Property; Great Location

This is without doubt one of the very best properties we have ever stayed in. Everything you could need and so much more. Modern, clean and well proportioned. 5-min walk to the harbour. Estuary views from the garden. Really couldn’t fault it. Might be worth noting for some that two bedrooms are en suite and therefore no separate ‘family’ bathroom. But what really sets this property apart is the amazing thoughtfulness and attention to detail of the host who really puts herself out to ensure a great experience.

Padstow August 2021

This really is a perfect property for a chilled family holiday(older children only) due to the deco of the house. It was clean, really well designed and felt a lot bigger than it sounds. We loved all the modern twists and it was lovely to have a decent garden as properties in central Padstow rarely do. The short walk in to town is pleasant and we had no problem parking 2 cars. Thank you for making yet another holiday (our 6th) in Padstow so magical

This is by far THE best rental we have ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated and the finishes are immaculate. Hazel has such attention to detail and everything you could possibly need has been taken care of, from music to sewing kits! Fab location, 10 min walk to the town, but just far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning to this lovely little ldyll.

I live in the West Country and bought this house as I love Cornwall, and Padstow in particular, I wanted somewhere to completely relax and hence I created this house as it is.
The proximity of this house to Padstow Harbour and the sandy beach, the start of the Camel Trail and Tesco, means that once I’m here I can park the car up and forget about it.

I completely refurbished this house from scratch, with the aim of creating a sociable, relaxing house, but I wanted to maintain the charm and tranquility of the original lounge, while updating it at the same time.
No matter how busy Padstow is, this house as it's just 5 minutes stroll the Harbour, is far enough from the crowds that you will be surprised on a walk into Padstow to find how busy it has become.
Padstow's all year round dog-friendly beach is our favourite in all of Cornwall and only a 10 minute walk from the house.

You'll find lots of gadgets in this house, to make it feel like home - there are 5 Sonos Smart Speakers around the house and 5 Smart TV’s together with fibre optic broadband. Fully-kitted out kitchen so that you can cook beautiful meals, or just a sandwich, it's all there. Together with the real luxury of the built in coffee machine, Quooker tap, American style fridge freezer with chilled water and ice together with a wine fridge, not forgetting the dishwasher and washer dryer so you can sit back and relax with as many cappuccinos or lattes as you like - I give you a good supply Segefredo coffee beans and lots of consumables around the house.
I have tried to make everything as relaxing as possible, and put in features which will help you enjoy your time in Padstow as much as possible.
