Ocean Front Large Luxury Villa with Pool.

This is a very special and rare ocean fronted luxury Villa with a large pool.
It offers complete privacy and uninterrupted sea views from every terrace.
There are spacious landscaped gardens surrounding the house.
It is perched on top of a cliff drenched with sunlight.

There are a number of fabulous local restaurants and bars within walking distance of the villa. There are very good restaurants and we have been enjoying them for many years.
There is a supermarket and large kids playground and tennis a short walk away also.

There is a beautiful beach directly in front of the property. It is in a cove which means the water is almost still and very pleasant for swimming and safe for kids. There are more larger and busier beaches a short walk away.

There is a modern marina next to it with a lovely bar and restaurant and some lovely boats to view. The villa has it's own berth in the marina and is available to guests upon request. There is boat and jet ski hire available along with various excursions.

The house is air conditioned and very spacious.
It is perfect for a family holiday with plenty of room and is located in a mature peaceful upscale residential location. A car is not essential but recommended.

There is fast WiFi included plus UK SKY Digital included free of charge plus smart tv.

The grounds of the property along with the pool are maintained by a gardener weekly. There is abundant garden lighting at night.

The administrator of Villa Manolo was a true all-rounder! He was always reachable for every question, request, or wish, and was incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. He helped us with everything we needed and made our stay even more enjoyable.On top of that, the villa itself is fantastic, with everything you could possibly wish for. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Villa Maria!

Fabulous Relaxing Villa

Great villa for amazing sea views was totally accessible we had two wheelchair users so after a couple of steps to front door the villa was flat with 4 bedrooms on ground floor. all amenities and facilities you need were provided. Lovely villa and very relaxing for our family. We enjoyed it immensely.

Fantastic villa; what a view!

We had a fabulous week here. The view from the terrace is incredible and the sunrise well worth an early rise (which is saying something for me!). The house is well equipped and Manolo the local agent very helpful. For the kids the games room and pool were very popular, as was the decent wifi. The local beach with its little bar was lovely with perfect swimming water and the local towns great for restaurants and super markets. Highly recommended.

Recommended

Well equipped family home and fabulous outlook, pool outstanding. In a residential area so not many restaurants or bars to got to. Beach is a 15min walk which has a bar and nice hotel restaurant. Although we were provided with pool towels would expect these to be standard. Can’t fault Manolo very accommodating and responsive and gave excellent recommendations. Overall we enjoyed our break

Awesome sea scape

Excellent position/location but house is a little tired and wasn't very clean when we arrived. Pool is pleasantly bigger than usual domestic size but needs a bit of TLC. Only the master bedroom is air conditioned; the others share a unit in the hallway which works OK- just. Overall a super holiday home.

60th birthday

Position much like pictures with great views. As other reviews have said it does need a little updating. Two issues for us were that none of the “near” watersports or bars are open until July and secondly the pump in the pool did not work for the first 4 days, which I’m hopeful for a partial refund for this

Hi Philip, Thank you for your review. Just to note the bars are open year round. The water sports in the Marina open from the third week of May each season. The pool was available to use but the circulation pump in the pool failed after short circuiting due to electricity outages across the entirety of Spain which was reported widely on and of course if beyond everyone’s control. This is the first time this has happened in the many years the villa has been there. The pump was replaced the moment it was reported with a new one ordered and installed as fast as one could be delivered. Regards Sean

Great villa at a great spot

We are 2 families with 3 kids (14,15 and 17). We stayed the end of April. The villa has everything you need. Manolo who gave us the key and manage the villa is a wonderful guy. Helping with everything. The views are as good as the pictures. Enjoying the sun overlooking the pool and the ocean is superb. The pool is not heated. So it was to cold to swim at this time of the year. The surrounding in Calafat is quit, but with a car there is enough to do. (Cambrils, Tarragona) The pool-table was a great succes. Overall: a great stay.

Location location location

What can I say? This villa’s location right on the ocean front is spectacular!!! It has the best view of all the surrounding properties. The villa inside needs some updating but, to be honest, we spent all our time outside on the fantastic patio and in the pool. There was 9 of us in total and there was plenty room for us to eat at the dining table outside. We had a couple of hiccups during our stay but Manolo the property manager and his wife Pauline were great. The area is residential but you will find a supermarket 10-12 minute walk away and the beach is about the same. You can also walk to the neighbouring town either along the rocky headland (which I wouldn’t recommend with small kids) or through the streets. I would recommend you hire a car as there’s lots to see in the surrounding area.We got the train into Barcelona for the day from L’Amtella De Mar which was a great day out.We also visited Cambrills and Mont Roig del Camp. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I will never forget the sound of the waves lapping the rocks below.

Das Haus und die Lage sind ein absoluter Traum und wir haben es sehr genossen. Fantastischen Blick aufs Meer. Es war alles im Haus, was man braucht. Was man wissen sollte, ist das das vierte Badezimmer nicht im Haus, sondern im Keller ist, welches über das aussengelände zu erreichen ist. Und das man vorher bescheid geben muss, wenn man die Garage nutzen möchte. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und manolo war immer da, wenn wir fragen hatten. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter verlief zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Das Haus können wir nur weiterempfehlen.

La vue et l’emplacement est fantastique

La résidence en soit est ok. Les chambres du rez de chaussée sont très petites et les lits sont petits et très fermes. La douche de la première salle de bain n’a même pas de porte et a été remplacée par un rideau de douche ce qui rend celle-ci inutilisable à moins que vous vouliez faire un dégât d’eau. Pour ce qui est de l’intérieur: Les photos sur le site sont beaucoup plus belles qu’en vrai. Mais le setup extérieur est tout simplement fantastique. La vue, la terrasse, la piscine, la petite plage etc viennent compenser pour le reste. Manolo (le tenancier) est disponible, poli et courtois. Si vous chercher le grand luxe, ce n’est pas tout à fait ça! Mais si vous chercher des souvenirs et une vue comme sur une carte postale, alors vous êtes à la bonne place.

Villa maria

Vi har haft en underbar vecka, med fantastisk utsikt över havet. Poolen var större och bättre än vi förväntade oss, och användes flitigt varje dag. Likaså bordtennnis och biljard möjligheterna. Bra utrymmen både inomhus och utomhus för den en grupp på 6-8 personer. Husvärden Manolo var otroligt hjälpsam och trevlig. Saknade möjligtvis fler restauranger i närområdet.

Stunning location and view

The location is incredible. We could not get enough of how spectacular the view was from the terrace. The pool is a very good size. The villa was clean and the we enjoyed our stay here to the fullest. Manolo was great to work with and check in and check out went like clockwork. We already discussed how great it would be to come back to this villa.

Fantastische vakantie, rust, zee, strand en alles dat je nodig hebt is binnen handbereik. Hele mooie

Deze vakantiewoning is een pareltje in Calafat. Alles is voorhanden, prachtig zwembad en een adembenemend uitzicht. De Villa is prima onderhouden en álle bedden zijn heerlijk om in te slapen, iets dat je vaak niet kunt zeggen als je met 9 personen gaat. We zijn door Manolo goed ontvangen en de communicatie met hem naar ook de eigenaar Sean ging snel en perfect. Deze villa is een aanrader waarbij het huren van een auto de vakantie helemaal af maakt. Salou is op 30 minuten rijden en ook een bezoek aan Barcelona is prima te doen. Deze villa krijgt van ons een dikke 9!

Traumhafter Ausblick

Das Haus ist nicht mehr das Neuste , man sieht aber das immer etwas erneuter wird. Die Ausstattung vor Ort ist hervorragend. Haben in der Küche nichts vermisst (Mikrowelle, Nesspresso, Backofen, Gasherd , extra Kühlschrank und Gefriertruhe) alles vorhanden. Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist traumhaft und das schönste man kann ihn auch vom Pool aus genießen. Das Objekt ist hundefreundlich. Alles eingezäunt und somit Freilauf auf dem ganzen Gelände. Der Service von Manolo wollen wir besonders hervorheben. Super freundlich, Probleme werden von ihm sofort gelöst, zudem steht er mit Rat und Tat einem vor Ort immer zur Seite. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Villa avec un fort potentiel et vue sur mer magnifique et quartier calme

Le gérant immobilier (MANOLO) qui nous a remis les clés humble gentil. La villa a un très grand potentiel, un rafraichissement (rideaux, dessus de lit à changer). La télévision n'est pas accessible pour les Français dommage. Le quartier est très calme. Pas de vis à vis étant face à la mer vue magnifique. Super séjour dépaysant nous avons passé un super Noël Manolo avait trouvé pour notre fils un sapin pour marquer encore plus Noël une très belle attention de Manolo qui à notre arrivée le dimanche avait prévu les courses (pain, lait, jus d'orange, thé, jambon) nous avons bien apprécié. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung und ich freue mich, dass Ihnen die Villa gefallen hat. Beachten Sie, dass die Rennstrecke 1,3 km entfernt ist und nur alle paar Wochen für ein paar Stunden gelegentlich Rennen stattfindet. Das Kraftwerk ist modern und in Betrieb, aber nur wenige kn von der Villa entfernt und nicht sichtbar. Grüße Sean

Beautiful view

The view of the sea from the property was lovely with plenty of room around the large pool which was great for the whole family to play in. The rendering around the pool is in need of some maintenance as it is flaking off in patches. Plenty of sun loungers and towels to enjoy the outside space and a good barbecue we enjoyed using to cook. The kitchen has lots of everything you may need but much of it is in need of a good sorting out as there are lots of old chipped items and there were several dirty items that had not been washed since the last occupant and the cupboards were not organised at all with lots of things all over the place. Plenty of fridge space but again the kitchen fridge was mouldy down the seal of the door which we had to wash before we could use it. There were lots of goodies left for us and Manolo was very good at orientating us to the villa. The villa is certainly very large, but could definitely do with updating as well as needing new bed linen throughout and air conditioning in the downstairs bedrooms rather than just the corridor especially when you have young children as it was not an option to keep the door open in case they woke the others up. The air-conditioning unit outside the bedroom window needs to be inspected as it makes so much noise at night when it is on that it kept waking people through out the night. It was great having sky TV for the kids when they weren’t occupied with the pool. Showers were great and it felt very safe in the villa. Good local restaurant near the supermarket friendly staff and tasty food, if you have to use the local supermarket it is quite pricey and there is a larger and cheaper one in the local town. We were unaware that there was building work next door on a new villa until the Monday when they were installing the foundations which was unfortunate as it meant we were totally overlooked whilst around the pool and the noise couldn’t be covered even with loud playing music. The owner and Manolo did their best to try and resolve this matter with the builders but we would have preferred peace and privacy to a reduction in the cost of the villa.

Unfortunately as explained the building of a house on a neighboring site is beyond our control. It is a "once off" as there are no more vacant sites left in the area! However when you raised the issue we immediately refunded a significant portion of your rental fee as requested whilst you were on holiday as a gesture of good faith. Sean

Traumlage und super Unterkunft

Vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out war alles perfekt. Wir hatten leider nur einen kurzen, allerdings äußerst erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, der Weitblick über das Meer und die umliegenden Häuser und den kleinen Hafen sind einfach nur herrlich. Die Umgebung war bei unserem aufenthalt absolut lautlos, da fast alle umliegenden Häuser unbewohnt waren. Wenn es sich wieder einmal ergibt, werden wir auf alle Fälle sofort wieder diese Unterkunft buchen. Es war alles da was man braucht, Küche top ausgestattet, Handtücher, Decken, Kissen, sogar der Kühlschrank wurde mit ein paar alltäglichen Dingen schon befüllt. Einfach nur top!

It was impossible not to fall in love with this property the moment we saw it.
