We do take your point on cleaning, our cleaners do a thorough job and get the house ready for the next guests, there was indeed a delay between your stay and the last due to a cancellation, a refresh clean is not as costly as a full clean but that cost would have to be passed on in our rates, which we try to keep competitive in these cost conscious times. Hello Kristian, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay in general. It is always good to get feedback whatever the case. We are Owners that live some way from the property and rely on our cleaning contractors to ensure the property is clean and ready for guests when they arrive and although we have not picked up on any lack of cleanliness before we are addressing your points with the cleaners as ‘filthy’ and ‘very dirty’ is clearly not acceptable, The windows are always difficult as the salt air makes them dirty very quickly especially in the winter, we have them cleaned fortnightly. We take your point regarding the leather suite in the main living room at this is due for changing and was in our list to attend to this spring. The Christmas decoration is not really meant to provide a huge display but the basics for a Christmas stay, we put up two trees and we always state that you are welcome to top up the decorations, but will make that clearer for guests in the future.
