Stunning, spacious and contemporary open plan living with french doors leading onto a south facing private balcony with sea view. 3 bedrooms and family bathroom lead off the main living space.
2 large doubles, one with wall mounted TV and sea view through french doors with direct access onto private balcony with outdoor furniture. Third bedroom has views across the back garden and equipped with a small-double bed.
Plenty of storage throughout, free unlimited wi-fi, bed linen and towels provided. Well equipped kitchen containing everything needed for a fabulous holiday.

In the living area there is a smart TV.
Over an acre of lawned communal gardens around the property with parking for 2 vehicles within private car park. Private lane to the right of the building leads directly to Swanpool Beach & Nature Reserve with decked Beach Cafe, plus a fabulous cliff top restaurant, Hooked On The Rocks, with fabulous local food and amazing sea views across Falmouth Bay. Swanpool really is a hidden gem, a quiet family beach benefitting from wi-fi and plenty of outdoor activities. Kayaking, sailing, diving, fishing, rock climbing as well as a crazy golf course and bouncy castle.
Falmouth Golf Course is situated opposite the entrance to the property car park - it has a fabulous restaurant with sea views. Different coastal paths guide you along the coastline either the right towards Maenporth Cove and onto the Helford Passage in one direction, or to the left towards the main beaches of Falmouth and prestigious seafront leading to the historic Pendennis Castle, or a stroll around the Nature Reserve and into Falmouth Town with its cobbled streets, excellent restaurants and selection of boat trips in all directions. Falmouth Marina and Port Pendennis, offer atmospheric coffee bars and restaurants within the bustling marinas, with boat rental.
Plenty of other activities to get out of the sunshine, the magnificent Maritime Museum, Arts Centre with theatre & gallery, central Cinema with 5 screens including 3 luxury spaces offering sofa's, armchairs and waitress service, the glamorous Princess Pavillion with beautiful gardens, Edwardian bandstand, tea rooms, bar & bistro and popular concert venue and not least the historic Penndenis Castle, built during the reign of Henry V111, castle and grounds are open to the public. Plenty to keep you occupied in Falmouth should you wish to visit the rest of the magnificent coastline of Cornwall, nowhere is very far away.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Had an amazing stay. The property was exactly as described and our hosts were even kind enough to leave us a welcome basket. Incredibly spacious property and just a stones throw from the beach with some lovely walks afforded. Property was spotless and even kitted out with indoor and outdoor entertainment to suit anyones fancy. John was easy to communicate with and check in was a doddle. Ample parking at the property too and everyone living in the area was very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough

Lovely apartment

Really comfortable apartment made even better by the host who had left fresh flowers in every room and a lovely hamper. Brilliant location. Just a few minutes walk to Swanpool Beach and then along the coastal path to Falmouth. Thank you.

Amazing....again

We found this amazing place last year and booked to come again this year. As last year it was spot on, John the owner was easy to contact and very helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The position of the property for Swanpool beach is excellent and just a short walk to another amazing beach with cafe! The property has great views in a very quite a peaceful neighbour hood with plenty of free parking. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Loved every moment of it

It was an all-round lovely holiday. The apartment is great and exactly what we expected from the pictures. The Ashes are extremely helpful, we were more than warmly welcomed and taken care of, even with detailed advice on possible excursions, events and places to go out. Falmouth and the surrounding area have so much to offer, from beach holidays and walks to cultural highlights. Loved every moment of it.

Great seaside holiday. The apartment is about 5 minutes walk from the beach, in a quiet development with sea views. Comfortably furnished and well equipped with a brand new power shower, washer, dryer and dishwasher in the kitchenette. The hob in the kichen is an old fashioned electric model which is very slow to heat up and could do with updating. All the bedrooms open directly onto the central living/kitchen space, which has large open windows onto the balcony, making it very airy and pleasant. The layout means there is no real escape from a noisy family however. John is a charming host and was very responsive to fixing a couple of small problems.

Charming Apartment

We ejoyed the days in the apartment with a nice view in an attractive position near a beach.The apartment has 3 charming bedrooms with 3 "french sized" beds. The bathroom was attractive, the shower was in the handling a bit unusual for us. We have been appreciated kindly with fresh flowers and local gifts. So we had a wonderful time in Cornwall. Thank you!

A well thought out holiday home with lovely owners

We really enjoyed the stay in Falmouth. The owners were very supportive before our trip when I had technical issues accessing the documents. There was a welcome tray of local food and a card with more details and a a warm welcome. They have thought of many things - a basket for shoes, loads of storage space for bags, a hook for wetsuits, pegs for the line, and a comprehensive kitchen of utensils and crockery for self catering to name a few. Some you have to look for - we found the place mats on day two and the dish drainer on the last day so do have a look because it's probably there. The location is quiet with no noisy neighbours. It's a good location to explore the local area on foot or by car. We really enjoyed our time, thank you.

A Perfect Holiday Stay – Thoughtful Hosts & Ideal Location! From the moment we booked, our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating! They promptly shared detailed information about the property, local area, and even helped us arrange an earlier check-in, which was hugely appreciated.When we arrived, we were welcomed with a lovely card, Cornish treats, and milk in the fridge – such a thoughtful touch! The attention to detail continued throughout our stay: fresh-cut flowers in every room, shower gel provided in the bathroom, and little extras that made us feel truly cared for.The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach, an easy stroll into Falmouth, and plenty of cafés nearby. It gave us the freedom to enjoy adventures without needing to drive everywhere. A taxi back from Falmouth in the evening cost around 10, and there’s also a local bus service, though we didn’t try it.Our group included two young adults, and the setting worked brilliantly for us – close enough to enjoy time together but with plenty of options for everyone to do their own thing too.We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located, and beautifully hosted getaway.

Sehr netter Vermieter, die Wohnung ist großzügig und geräumig, es ist alles da was man braucht, dass Design gefiel mir auch ausgesprochen gut. Sehr leckere Pizza und Bier im Pub! Man kommt auch recht gut von Reading mit dem Zug nach London. Gerne wieder!

Swanpool in sunny September

Very clean, as described. Good overall facilities. Terrace to sit out. Plenty of room apart from kitchen area. Easy walk down to beach front (note short uphill return) through estate & walks along cliffs in both directions. Pity there's not a more local general shop as we wished to use car less. Owners left welcome pack which included items relating to a dietary requirement which was a thoughtful nice touch.

Fantastic apartment in great location. 5 minute walk to beach.

Gorgeous find, clean with lots of home comforts and lots of little extra details. Great balcony to sit on with sun on most of day. 5 minute walk to the nearest beach with cafe and Resturant close by. 30 minutes beautiful coastal walk into Falmouth. Would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to be back again 😊

This apartment is really clean and very comfortable.

We were here in August with teenagers.Its close to the beach with hire facility for kayaks and paddle boards. Other beaches and the town are in a walkable distance. The apartment is very clean, very comfortable and had all you need for a fabulous break. It is secure and quiet even in August high season. Owners are helpful and provide really good information. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and WiFi making holiday easier. Cannot rate it highly enough and hope to be back.

Lovely clean apartment in good location

We really enjoyed our stay in Swanpool. The apartment was spotless, had everything you’d need and is only a short stroll to Swanpool beach. Falmouth itself was slightly further than we thought (my elderly mum has knee problems and it’s quite hilly) but there are buses that are easy to get. The communication from John and Sharon was brilliant and the extra touches were very much appreciated :-) Highly recommend and may well be back!

Wonderful place

Stayed for a week during the recent hot weather...wow,so lucky. This place was perfect,exactly as described,check in easy, spotlessly clean throughout. Everything you could possibly need for a break by the sea. Thanks to John and Sharon for letting us stay. Thoroughly recommend staying here,really couldn't fault it.

Fantastic!

We can only say Fantastic to this property from the lovely welcome tray as soon as you walk in to fresh flowers in just about every room was very special. Cleanliness 100% we could find no fault with it at all. Hosts accessible at all times if necessary. A great week made better with lovely accomodation.

Excellent if not quite perfect

We really enjoyed our two weeks here and Swanpool is a good location. The garden and other areas shared with apartments within the small development are a little bit shabby but this does not really impact on the enjoyment of this excellent property. The outside stairs would be a difficult for anyone with mobility problems and tricky for younger children. Subject only to this the apartment is perfect for a family and very well equiped indeed.

Much needed break

A lovely restful break in this comfortable, clean property set in Swanpool. We were very fortunate that weather was great and we spent a lot of time on Gilly beach, a ten minute walk away. The booking and arrangements to get access to the property etc was all really well organised. Cornwall is so gorgeous 💚

Awesome!

Great property in a great location, I could not fault any of it. Very well equipped and all three bedrooms a good size, the kids loved it. The large balcony was great, very peaceful and quite. 5 minute walk to the nearest beach or a 15-20min walk to another great beach. I would highly recommend this property and will be coming back. John made the place very comfortable and check in was also very easy. Five stars.

It's very well equipped with everything you'll need and comes with crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels. It has 2 fabulous restaurants both just 5 minutes walk away plus a close beach cafe. There are many coastal walks and cycle routes to enjoy. It's opposite Falmouth Golf Club. Falmouth Seafront and Town just 5/10 min drive away.
