Cottage With Secure Garden, Wood Burning Stove And Sea Views

Seagreens Cottage can be found at the end of quiet road right on the beach. It is a cosy semi detached property which has a large secure garden to the rear and uninterrupted views of the sea. Seagreens is located between the villages of St Cyrus and Johnshaven. It is 7 miles North of Montrose, and 30 miles South of Aberdeen. Ideally situated for walking, fishing and golf and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The cottage has free wifi available for guests to use.

There are two bedrooms in the cottage, one double and one twin. There is also space for a travel cot if required. There is a good sized bathroom with a separate shower and bath with a heated towel rail and underfloor heating. The living room has two comfy sofas and a wood burning stove, along with a selection of books, dvds and games. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, kettle toaster and a washing machine. There is also a tumble drier out in the side building where the bbq is stored.

The cottage is surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery, perfect for walking and exploring or simply relaxing. We allow up to 2 dogs with prior notification and a £30 fee. They can be booked in with the number of guests.

Wonderful holiday cottage!

We enjoyed our week in this wonderful holiday cottage! The sea views from the cottage are spectacular and the sound of the waves is very relaxing! We saw and heard lots of wildlife including a stoat, buzzard, osprey and toads! The weather was sunny and warm!! The cottage is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the dual aspect kitchen has everything you need!We hope to return as soon as possible!!!

Perfect quiet cottage for de-stressing.

A Wonderful Stay by the Sea

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful property where we were able to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. The guys got in a golf game and we got picture of Puffins! The property is lovely and very well outfitted for guests. Nice to be by the water.

Property was a perfect size for us and the garden good for our dog, enclosed but unfortunately not private enough.She is overly protective and didn’t really cope with people doing the coastal walk or parking up for the use of the beaches nearby.

Favorite place ever

This was my favorite place that we have ever stayed over the past few years. It was secluded and the view was just breathtaking. There was a main path to walk for miles along the water if you wanted.

Amazing sea view

Great stay at Seagreens cottage. The cottage is very modern, warm and has all that you need. Great walks along the coast to the fishing village of Johnshaven. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life then this cottage is a great place for going off gird and being at the sea.

Fabulous cottage, quiet location, North Sea views

This is our second time staying at the cottage and we should have remembered to book for longer than 4 days. The cottage works perfectly, the location is amazing and yet close to many places to visit. We reluctantly left for our next destination.

The pictures don't do this cottage justice! This is a stunning cottage, immaculately presented and with amazing views up and down the coastline. We went in February so the log burner fire was exceptional, all of the amenities including over 200meg fibre broadband! Can't wait to go back!

An absolute gem!

We stayed at Seagreens during our first ever trip to Scotland and were absolutely in love. The cottage was immaculate, and had everything we needed and more. Check-in was flawless and our host Claire was quick to respond to any questions we had. It was perfect for a quiet, calm getaway seaside, yet close enough of a drive to experience surrounding villages and sites. Claire gave us a list of suggested restaurants and sites to visit and all were exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful setting and very very quiet, lovely to watch the boats and bird on the sea . lovely coastal walk with or without dogs to johnshaven , dogs loved the house as its a secure environment , no cars speeding etc Nearest supermarket just down the road few minutes drive , cottage is near to stonehaven and aberdeen , montrose etc House had everything and more , very comfortable and good night sleep , all you can hear is the birds . Would stay again if we went aberdeen way

The best choice

We loved our stay at the wonderful cottage directly by the sea. We found it perfect at any weather. If it's sunny, enjoy the gorgeous view from the garden with the patio and if it's cold and rainy, huddle up in the livigroom by by the fire. It's wonderful to wake up, open the (really thick) curtains and see the ocean! Claire is the perfect host. Always available via chat if there's a question and lightning-fast with her replies. Johnshaven is a short dog-walk away with its pretty small harbour and the lovely souvenir shop. We used the cottage as a base for daily tours. You need a car to get around and the drive-way to the cottage is steep, windy and a single track. But that's no problem. A parking space is right in front of the door and the view when you descend to the cottage is so beautiful. I could get used to that. We loved the small ante room where one could put the shoes and coats as well as towels (for the dog) and thus leave the dirt outside. There are enough things to do in the near or wider area. St. Cyrus Beach is stunning and only a couple of minutes away by car. I recommend the walk there along the beach and back through the hinterland with the old grave yard. If you need anything, If you need anything, chances are you'll find it in the Morrison's Daily in St. Cyrus. It's just about 5 minutes from the cottage and especially when you're late and just want to go home, it's a place where you'll get food and drink or sweets as well as hygiene articles etc.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön direkt am Meer. Es ist sauber und gepflegt. Alles funktionierte tadellos. Fußläufig kann man Johnshaven erreichen. Im Anchor kann man super Essen. Schnell ist man mit dem Auto in Montrose zum Einkaufen, in den Highlands zum Wandern oder am St. Cyrus Beach zum Baden. Das Haus in der Lage ist eine absolute Empfehlung!

Näher geht es nicht ans Meer. 😀 Die Lage ist wunderschön und abgesehen vom Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer, welchen man vom Bett aus sehen kann, sind in Sichtweite auch Delfine sichtbar. Der Garten ist zusätzlich eingezäunt mit separater Feuerstelle und Essbereich mit Beleuchtung und über die alte Steinhäuser schauen auch ab und zu ein paar Kühe rüber. Leider gab es keine Sonnenliegen aber das war auch das einzige, was uns gefehlt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What a stunning find

From the approach to the cottage on arrival to driving up the hill to leave we loved every second of our stay. It was spotless and well equipped and such a treat to be by the sea. A beautiful cottage. We want to go back already!

We live close by and as soon as the cottage came on the market we could see the potential for a holiday let. When we bought Seagreens it was in need of total renovation. We carried this out over the first year starting by painting the outside which made an immediate difference. It is such in such a beautiful spot that I often wish we were living there!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The views from Seagreens are beautiful. In the summer there is nothing better than gazing out across the sea, and in the winter when the wind is blowing it is lovely to be cozy by the stove. The cottage is in a great location for lots of outdoor activities, from fishing, walking and cycling from your doorstep to the 90 minute journey to Glenshee for skiing.
