ALL ROUND SEA & ISLAND VIEWS. QUIET AND WITHOUT NEIGHBOURS. BEST BEACHES.

We have rented out holiday homes in the UK, France and Greece for around 30 years. Complaints started immediately on arrival. We have experienced feedback once or twice before where people just wish to hit out and not jointly resolve perceived issues with any suggestions rejected. Once we even had a complaint including a dead garden plant! They had a brand new duvet cover for the bed. Not acceptable! They wanted a sheet, so, we asked a friend if they had a sheet that would cover a 5ft wide bed and they delivered one very quickly for us. Our actual caretaker/cleaner also prepares hotel rooms, but she was at a function at the time. Our helpful friend's impression of this couple (without prior information) was NOT favourable. I cannot write their descriptive appraisal of them here, as Vrbo will not find it acceptable. We supply a set of towels comprising of 2 white bath towels, 2 white hand towels, and 2 large beach towels and even supply a cool box to take to the beach! The villa is fully compliant with all 2026 regulations. Their opinion of the properties panoramic view perhaps best sums it all up, as our architect grades it as the best view on the Paliki peninsula. It is for all to see on YouTube. The idea of such feedback is undoubtedly to cause rental damage, but we have no need to write any of this, as a couple who have stayed there two years running (without complaining) are now in the process of buying the property. Many thanks for the review. For anybody reading this we never ask for these or get them from people who we know. The view is of course extraordinary whilst being safe. We have noticed this visit that a bush need reducing again to retain the full panoramic view and this will be done. We always try to make improvements and Father Teds will have an air-conditioning unit installed for 2019. Both Villa Kef & Father Teds will also have a cool box for beach use following a visitor request. We do have plans approved for increasing the size of Father Teds and installing an infinity pool, but this will not happen for a few years due to funding as well as the Brexit outcome. Steve & Alice, thank you. People are usually told to go to Skala, Lassi, or Katelios by fellow Brits but the Paliki and the the real Greek experience together with the quiet location of Father Teds and the views is something else. Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Yes experiencing the view, the location, the special beaches, as well as sampling the relatively undiscovered Kefalonia on the Paliki peninsula away from the tourist areas is quite special isn't it. More improvements coming for 2018.
